Life.. Better late than never :)

First off.. My Blog is VERY important to me. I have absolute HORRIBLE memory and I know I will cherish these updates forever. Soo.. Ive been feeling stressed that I havent posted. Weird, I know.. I posted not THAT long ago. Although.. I feel like Ive got a lot to post.. Soo

Lets backtrack. Super Saturday that I went too.. Heres so things I made!! I loved it! I love looking at things in my house that I MADE. I did one more little craft but Im not posting because I might use a christmas gift.  The Autmn/Winter blocks are the same, just reversible.. Fun idea

Friday night we hit snow jam @ Thomas & Mack. Its a big snow event that has booths set up and a TON of sski/snowboarding stuff out for sale. Both years we have gone they have BMX  bikes doing tricks on a hlaf pipe. The kids LOVE watching this. Your literally standing on the otehr side of the gate too so when will you ever get closer. :)  BUT ... the real/only reason we really go is because you pay $15 to get in and you get a free lift ticket to Brian Head.. which is normally $45. So you save $30 a pop. Plus.. because Pete & I own our our boards and boots. We snowboard for $15. Plus.. Jaiden went last year and Rylan is coming this year so thats the only way were going to get them there. I cant afford to pay full price this young ;)

Saturday the boys had ther LAST soccer game. I say last as in LAST of the Season and LAST all together. Unless they request to go back. Weve done soccer for Jaiden for 4 years and Rylan only 6 months less than that. Soo ..were moving on. Ill blog once that all begins :) Im pretty excited with there choices because I think they both REALLY enjoy what they are doing next.

Saturday afternoon we went to my parents for The Dulaney Thanksgiving/Christmas party. Yes, we celebrated Christmas also because family was here that wont be at Chirstmas time. We played a $5 gag gift White Elephant. The boys ended up with some "FUN" stuff. Jaiden: Insta Poop and toilet paper... yup.. poop in a can. NASTY!! And Rylan with designed duct tape.....

Which was put to use that night.... ;)  Who knew kids would line up to be taped up!! :) haha

Lindsey invited us all to go that same night to Town Squares "SNOW"  It was FUN!! Plus.. it will only get busier as Christmas nears so im glad we hit it early. (Before Thanksgiving)

Wednesday morning as I was prepearing stuffing for Jaiden School party he told me I had to be there at either 10 or 11a .. or after school. he wasnt sure.

Me: Jaiden.. Im working so I signed up to bring stuffing, not volunteer to serve it. Thats was the parents are coming for

Jaiden: No mom... were doing somehting for you. A presentation.

Me: Do you have a letter about a time and were im suppose to be?? I didnt see anything in your bag

Jaiden: No.. were just suppose to tell you. It at  10 or 11 and after school.

Me: your not sure which??

Jaiden: NO

Me: Babe, im sorry but I cant.. im working and I think your talking about the moms volunterring. Your teacher didnt send anything home

As Im at work...at 9:20a (right as school is starting) I get an incoming call. I answer..

Jaiden: Mom, Ms. Woolrich said our presentation is at 11 o'clock. your coming right??

How could I say no... Why os it that a childs voice over the phone sound SOO little and sweet. I dont talk to my kids over the phone hardly at all so I was a little shocked.

Me: Ok, sweety , Ill talk to grandma and try to be there. Ill really try.

Jai: ok. mom  11 o clock ok

Thankfully... I work were I do so I have a little sympathy toward me :)  I was able to sneak off and go.

At 10:40a im pulling into the parking lot and the same # calls.

Jai: mom, Its starting soon, are you coming.

Seriously... This is were im soo grateful for my job. If i had any other job I would not have been there. I had no heads up, besides that morning. Plus.. the next day started a 4 day weekend. What if he called and I had to say no. It would have BROKE MY HEART.  I was glad I made it there for his cute performance and I ended up staying to help serve to food. So many parents were standing around and NOT helping!! Really parents... your already here.. might as well.

The next morning was THANKSGIVING. We had Granny over for homemade cinnamon rolls and egg bendict. We watched some of the Macys Day Parade and played a few games. Pete took Granny to the airport while I got us dressed and ready. Then .... Crystal was in town!! I was excited she was able to be here. We went early to my parents to see Crystal and Ryan as much as possible and to let the boys play... and RIDE ;)   They rode a ton over this holiday break. That evening during dinner we were able to skype and talk to Wendy as she gave us a tour of her house. That ended in tears and we all miss her a ton. I otld PeteI really want a skyp for Christmas for the family so we can talk and SEE family that lives out of state. We now have 4 siblings and 7 cousins of the kids that need to stay close.

Friday the boys went golfing. Crystal headed to St. George to see her In laws go through the temple :)    I wasnt planning on shopping but Celestial was. I didnt want to sit at home  so.. we shopped. She didnt buy a thing and I bought 3 pants for the boys. We got smoothies and hit then park, then naps.

 

All the while on Friday 11/25/2011 .. This little cutie was in a very long surgery. Later that night we got scary new that he wasnt breathing well and he had to take a helicopter ride to a different hospital. I was a mess and wished I could be with the family. He is now home.

Saturday.. we could pass up Thanksgiving traditions. We went shooting. Pete laughed at me because I went through alot of ammo. I asked why he was surprised. If I own a gun I better be able to use it. He goes about 2x as often a me. Out of all the guns.. Petes is my favorite. I only shot 1 other gun.. and I didnt even want to. I HATE shotguns/rifle. Its probably a mixture of the MAJOR kickback and the fact that I SUCK!! or maybe the fact that my two little sister kick butt and shooting FLYING SKEET and Ive NEVER hit one, let alone a still target (ok, i havent tried but im holding a grudge and probably wont anytime soon). We had fun!

Date night... and not with the Hubby ;)

 Just.. someone smaller and maybe even sweeter ;)

 This little man told me Monday that he needed a date night with me. How could I say no. So Yesterday Pete was off work earlier than me so her picked up Kadence and Rylan. Once I got Jaiden and got home.. Rylan wasnt even willing to stay and eat dinner with the family he was soo excited.

He chose bowling as our date. I LOVED spoiling him with my time and money ;) He got a slurpee and nachos and pretzel and cheese for dinner.

 Oh, cant forget he WHOOPED my butt. and no.. I want letting him win. I just suck normally but especially last night.

 Can you tell he was feeling on top of the world??

We brought home Hot Chocolate for the family to share.

As the holidays are nearing Im starting to miss my far away family. Soo I will see Crystal who is coming down from Idaho for Thanksgiving :)

-I miss Wendy and her family and find myself getting emotional that my kids wont grow up with their cousins. Feeling sad that they may not be very close to them. Im not with my cousins who grew up in other states :( Well have to not let that happen.

-I got a voicemaill from my nephew Greyson the other night.. and left a simple message to see what the kids wanted for Christmas.. that sweet little voice made me cry.. as usual. Im glad well be seeing them around Christmas.


** Jaiden is no longer at daycare. He will be on breaks and over the summer but for a day to day basis I he is not. A lady in out ward was willing to watch him in the morning and after school and drive to/from school since her daughter is there already. Jaiden is loving it. Its our babysitters family and there are teenage boys in the home who he plays MW3 with. We did this to save on daycare cost and im EXTREMELY thankful to them. Rylan is a little sad that hes not with Jaiden for a the difference when not at school but hes adjusting.

** My blackberry phone was having problems so I got a droid. Im STOKED ... Ive loaded kids learning games. Grocery list. and THE SCRIPTURES :)  Ive read the friend one night to the kids and in the past 2 nights read 3 General Conference talks off it. Im beyond excited about it.

** Homework... I HATE ... I know Jaiden is getting so smart because of it, but after all day at work I wanna have FUN with my kids. not do 4 pages of homework plus reading time. UGH! Thankfully Rylan has almost none, but I work with him anyways to help him improve with reading.

Since Ive started workign a normal 40 hour week Ive felt much better. Im able to accomplish so much more. I dont get to discourage working. I have more time with the kids and more time at home. Im loving it.

No more roommates!!

Saturday Morning I had our Wards Super Saturday.. Ill have to take some pictures and postthe fun things I made. But.. while Pete played Basketball and set up the church.. I looked at this ...

 and MOSTLY THIS.....UGH.... Sadly, our playroom looks spotless OR like this (about 80% of the time). Come on!! I get so frustrated with it because then its too messy for the kids to even paly in. Soo I decided to do (what Ive been debating on doing for a little bit), and to do it NOW. Thats just the way I do things ;)

So I had to start with dejunking. The boys both got a large garbage bags and filled with what theywanted to KEEP. Instead of the usualy give/throw away. They were to keep only the favorites. Because.. lets be honest, the bedrooms will look just a bad as that playroom soon enough. We ended with this...

 They had fun palying with their toys all weekend. Ones they havent palyed with in a while either.

 ** On top of that we took down Kadences crib and moved her toys in her room. She is now in a twin bed. PLUS, shes been dry at night since day 1 of potty training. (ok, 1 accident..but that was because she didnt make it to the potty fast enough in the morning). I have 3 happy kids who ALL LOVE their new rooms... and I didnt spend a dime.   Which makes one happy mama.


We also fit in some park time for the kids.

 And so park time for the dog. He's officially 2 so we took him out for his birthday  haha  Check out the other GORGEOUS husky. Made me KINDA want another one. of course I wont act on it but hes gorgeous.


And Just because our Rylan usually is the last one to fall asleep in the car and he was OUT!!   haha. Priceless!!

Life seems to be plain 'Ole boring latey. But I feel like I need to post a little summin' summin' :)


Last weekend the kids destroyed the upstairs. This picture is NOTHING. They pulled out all kinds of toys and blankets and built a "fortress" (as rylan calls them ?? what happened to fort). I sometimes get bummed out that my kids don't have normal relax days like I grew up with, with a stay at home mom. Sooo, when we arent rushing I REALLY CHERISH these days and wathcing my kids have a blast together.

 ** On the mess making side of things... Weve started paying quarters for extra chores. My kids earn allowance for their normal things.. make bed, pick up clothes, baths, brush teeth, homework, feed dogs, ect. But what about all the extras. These kids gotta be hard workers.. RIGHT? Soo. weve discovered a AWESOME help.. Dish out quarters for extra chores.. Saturday the boys were more than willing, they helped with bathroom garbage, cleaning the loft, dishes, ect. They dont lots extra over this week too. LOVING it!!

Pete warned me in advance he was going to be up late opening night to pick it up. HONESTLY, was not too concerned. Pete is NOT the hubby to ignore the family when a new game comes out. Hes very good about playing once the kids are in bed or if home before us and then turns it off when it family time. I have not complaints when he wants a new game.. which is super rare. Now.. hes had his fair share of playing but no were near what I expected.

As for Jaiden.. I have to make him turn it off. Although after 1 fit.. and a threat to loose it for a week, no more problems. :)

The heat at work quit. :( The condenser died.. and guess what.. so did our customers and whos more important.. then of course. So our guys were too busy and so this was my best friend all this week. We got a new one this morning. :)   and I still have it next to me.  Cause I  like it warm :)

 A few nights ago I was going to hit the gym but Pete had a training so Kadence hopped on up on my legs and I did LOTS of 30 lb leg extensions. Wow!! work out.. She was having a blast and made me go and go and go.

  
>> I wish I got a picture of Rylan. Last weel he hit his head at daycare and got a little goose egg on the side of his forehead. He insisted on wearing one of daddys hats the next morning and I didnt want him to loose it since he didnt ask. After much persistance I gave in. Especillay since he said it was to hide his bump. That poor boy is going to be trouble one day.. he is very much worried about what other people think of him (no matter how much I explain it doesn matter or people dont care.) He cares about the tiniest things and is very self concious.   I dont get it .. hes soo darn cute!!

My Daughter!!

 Last night I was in Heaven watching this little cutie play. I use to LOVE watching my boys mimick their dad and thought it was adorable. I was never jealous.. but, now that I have a little one who mimicks me I dont know how I wasnt. It is just the amazing having a little one look up to you so much.

Last night I watched her lay out 2 babies and then push up the other one in her grocery cart, she layed her down and hen sat on her chair and "read" them bedtime stories. :) PRICELESS.

To makes things even more precious.. She brought her baby to me and said.. watch MY DAUGHTER.

What??

My daughter.. she kept repeating it to me.

Halloween Fun!!

We done some fun stuff for Halloween over the month.. some not documented but Thursday - MOnday was filled with Halloween Fun.

Thursday and Friday the kids had no school.

Thursday- Painted Pumpkins @ School

Friday- Dressed up and Went on Halloween Filed trip to University of Phenoix with Daycare for a fun filled day with candy, costumes, haunted houses, face paintings....

Saturday- Ward Trunk or Treat

(The boys took off as usual. I lost Pete too since he was hanging out with friends, So Piddle and I got us some candy! She loved it.

Sundays- Staleys Party (kids were put to bed upstairs and were AWESOME)

MOnday- Dress up again for school/daycare. Party's and costume parade at school. Then trick or treating at home with the Tippetts :)

Jaiden with 3 of his friends (2 were Indian Jones as well but none of them knew it.

 The boys loved this. Rylan started complaining his feet hurt toward the end and Kadence likes trunk or treat much better. It took her a while to warm up to walking up by herself. She wanted to be carried. No go!!

I had decided to be a witch, since earlier in the month I went to a Bunco Witch Party!! Chrissy I stole your picture cause its cute ;)

 All in all we had a really good Halloween, but Im exhausted from staying up till past midnight for 3 nights in a row and waking up at 6am. Im glad Halloween is passed and looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas and Jaidens Birthday!!
