During Christmas break my kids bounced from a few different friends houses. They LOVED it. I loved not having the daycare cost. So I told all those moms to let me watch their kids for a date night or whatever. I have 6 kids.. The kids have fun. We hung out, are dinner, played video games, read books, and played hot lava!!   

 Rylan went to play at a friends house down the street.  We walked him there, Jaiden and his remote control truck

 Kadence and Brynlee with "hop" Matix and Brynlees bunny. Santa brought them 2 for christmas and there pretty fun. They just lay and let you hold them

 Eating Burger King in the back of our new truck so we dont make a mess!! (more on that later)
Dont worry either... I know my poor boys need haircuts. Life gets crazy sometimes. Im happy to say they once again look clean cut!

 Matix came to play last staurday morning while Pete and Brandon went out shooting!! Jaide ngave the kids suit case rides!

 I look horrible, but I love that my babies still love being my babies. My kids fight often over my lap..Or sometimes we end the night like this!!

Jaiden has wanted to do scouts since last year. He brought home from school a sign up.. that was not free. I told him when he turned 8 he gets to start with his friends from church.

Well, 2 days before his eigth birthday was his first day of scouts.

 

Last night was his first pack meeting.

My dad is super involved in scouts.

My Brother got his eagle scout

My dad has his Eagle and a Silver Beaver.

 

 

However, Im a girl.. not a scout

and Pete didnt grow up in the church so scouting is new to us.

We look forward to Jaiden getting this opportunity!

Football ?? Oh geez!

FOOTBALL!!

 

WOW, were actually football parents! ?? How did that happen. Pete and I both would probably consider football our least favorite sport. Neither one of us like it haha.

 

However, Ive always said that I will support whatever my kids want to do and I wont be the reason they hold back.

 

So, Jaiden has started Football. Were easing in (Jaiden wanted to do tackle but I wasnt ready..thankfully they didnt have tackle and flag was our option!! I was totally up for that! )

He absoultely LOVES it. His first game was Saturday and they won. He ran in one touchdown and caught one while standing in the goal.

 

Weve never done winter sports and its not really fun practicing in the evenings!! We bundle up or sit in the car for part of it.

 

Like I said I dont like football but I didnt think I liked soccer until my boys were the ones playing .. Im pretty sure this will be the same!

 

New Years

We had a low key New years. Football practice, then Brandon and Leshal came over. We ate sushi and relaxed.

New Years day was very relaxing.

I have NEVER really set New Years Resolutions. Occasionally I think of one or 2 things I want to improve..

 

THis year :

 

Save more money: I feel like Pete and I are generally smart..except for eating out.. so this year were cutting back on that!  5 people eating out adds up real fast.

Work out my health: Try to work out more regularly and eat healthier

Organization:  in general so I have less stress and more time to focus on the important things!
