Skate Park

This past weekend we decided to take to the kids to Desert Breeze skate park. There were some teenagers there but not to many at first. So the boys helped themsleves. Of course they (most daredevil Jai) wanted t odo the big bowls but we stuck to the small ramps. The kids had a BLAST and have asked numerous times already when we are going back.

Ultimate Variety Show

2 Weekends ago Pete & I went out on a date to the Ultimate Variety Show. Alisha and Greg had given use tickets they got for donating blood. So nice..right?   Anyways... it was a awesome date night.

"Jesus Movies"

 Ok.. little pre-post

My parents are very religious people. Anyone who knows them, knows that. I was raised going to church EVERY sunday. My dad served as a bishop and is constintly involved with the youth or scouts. My mom is the relief society president. Their  lives consist of church and serving others.

2nd of all... Even my young children know this  :)


Anyways.. Last friday night my parents came to our house to babysitt the kiddos while Pete and I went on a date, more on the date night later!


We come home from our date. Talk a little. Before we leave, my dad gives us a little (or big) laugh


When my parents first showed up to the house we had the movie "Tron" on the Tv. Well my parents dont watch much Tv and it caught their eye. The kids were bouncing off the walls as usual and my parents asked them to sit so they could watch, then the started asking the boys what was going on in the movie to catch us.

Rylan then asks... " WHAT? , Is all you watch are those Jesus Movies?  ...In a total dumbfounded voice!!



HAHAHA...Seriously, this kid is flippin hilarious!
Leave it to him to just say what he thinks.

The next morning when Pete & I asked him about it he was very hesistant to answer, thinking he was in trouble. After we explained Grandma and Grandpa thought he was hilarious he quickly admitted to it all.

Hes been begging

Last weekend we spent a couple hours at the park doing exactly what Jaiden has been begging for .. Playing Basketball. He was loving every minute and literally played ball the whole time. I dont even think he realized there was more to the park ;) Hes really pretty good and Ill be glad once he gets to play with a team. He keeps asking when it will start but I need my breaks in between Spring and Fall seasons. Lifes just too busy and we need to stop and enjoy each other..sports are lots of fun family time but they also make my life more stressful. We had fun and Granny joined us too!

A Working mom to three

Today is not my favorite day!! Im sitting at work so frustrated with this day. And at not one thing in particular. Its one of the days when everything feels overwhelming and all at once. I should not be taking a break because I dont have time but Im ready to call it a day and leave but since everyone takes a lunch break but me.. this is my lunch break today. Im feeling soo overwhelmed with being a working mom right now. I wish with all my heart I didnt work. I go through good and bad patches and lately I want nothing more than to spend more time with my babies. :( Sometimes peoples ask me how I balance it.. Well, Im not sure really. But I think when things are balanced Im much happier as a working mom. Since things feel so unorganized and chaotic, Im not a happy working mom. My family pays for it. My husband has to start his day off with a cranky wife, then go to work with a cranky co-worker (wife). My kids had a scramble brained mom whos cleaning and cleaning and doesnt stop celaning and yet I still ahve 5 loads of laundry and a messy house :(   ok.. so, Life is not all that bad but today.. or the past few weeks... I dont know why I cant seem to get it right! I hope the next few weeks I can balance better.

I know were all happier that way.

Soo today.. I just want to leave work and go play mom and wife... but I cant :(   Better get back to work!!

Jaiden FAVORITE christmas present was from the Andersons. A remote control helicopter. He plays with it non-stop even though its half way broken. LOVES it. He loved that we have a vaulted ceiling in the front room so he can fly it high too.

 Kadence loves her hair dresser chair she got from her granny.. but when she can convince one of her brothers to sit in her big chair she loves doing theirs as well. Or mine and Pete when were watching tv. Her brothers are pretty good sports!!

 On the Firday before new Years Jaidens sitters were going to the snow so he came to work with me. Pete was on a install so he roamed around and tried entertaining himself at grandma and grandpas....but at one point I heard something in the shop and didnt think it was any of the guys. I popped my head out and this is what I found. SCARED the crap out of me. This baby can chop your hand right off. He said Matt had showed him how to do it. Which made me mad at Matt... later I found out.. Matt  walked in while Jaiden was using it and showed him how to "SAFELY" use it. He was doing doog but this mamma aint letting that fly. I watched him for a minute and told him he cant do it unless dad or mom ar grandpa is watching him. I remember being little and loving going to my dads shop and cutting and bending a little metal to.

 This little one really likes the attention lately. She put a stool or chair right in front of the tv while were watching something and sing. or she'll make sure everyone iswatching and does a little dance.

The Holidays really know how to throw you off dont they? Our last day of Christmas break I spent a LONG time cleaning. 6:30-12:30 .. I wasnt joking. I was sick and the HOlidays..disaster. Anyways.. After that I we grabbed dairy queen and headed to the park. Then later that night we took a Hike on Mtns. Edge mtn... AT NIGHT!! We hadnt done that yet and Im in LOVE!! the kids had a blast. Kadence would not let me carry her. What kid doesnt love using a flash light. Plus... The view is gorgeous!!  Perfect end to our Christmas Break.   Let me tell ya.. this morning was NOT fun!! ;(

Fight Night

I do love watching UFC fights, but another reason I love these nights are for the do whatever with the family on no time of ajenda really.

Last Friday night was fight night...

We didnt plan on getting in the jacuzzi so the kids swam in the underwear and we just put in our legs and stole mom and dads robes to stay warm.

This is just cute!!  Watching a movie on my phone. Although it didnt last long.

Mom was giving Prego Sheree and back massage and the kids joined in, In grandmas high heels!

Spending quality time is with family is what its all about!!
