1st day

Today was the kids first day of 5th, 4th, and 1st grade. 

Jaiden said 5th grades harder.. he already has a report do in 1 week... :/ 

Kadence is still just excited for the big kid play ground and not having to sit at the front of the bus. 

Rylan as usual is just excited about school..but wishes he had class with his best friend Logan P. 

Werror excited for another great year!

Cathedral Rock

We took the kids and the dogs on a nice long family hike at Mt. Charleston. 

The cooler weather was amazing. 

It kicked our out of shape butts a bit on the way up and we took a lot of tiny stops on the way up, but we made it there at 1 hr and about 40 min back. 

This is the biggest hike the kids have done and I'm really proud of them for sticking it out.  Jaiden had no problem and we had to keep telling to slow down. Kadence isn't so much into this "dirty" stuff. Haha but she got some pep in her step toward the end. 

It was fun!!

Investing in the the kids ;)

Due to our dogs and our trampoline breaking at beginning of summer.. our backyard has been pathetic and no fun.  The kids were inside far too much with way more tv and video games than I'm willing to admit ;)  

I'll called "enough is enough" and told pete we had to invest in the backyard for the kids to enjoy 

we got a new trampoline (which is bigger than our last one) and a new/used basketball hoop. 

We've spent an amazing amount of time o ut doors the past few weeks. 

Summer Scous may have been slightly tough with a big group of roudy boys. 

We had fun though (or they did ;) )

Rylans recognition

Rylan was set to make honor roll this year.. he almost made straight A's but we're super proud he made A B Honor roll along with excellent behavior in his class as well as most of his "specials" (art, p.e ect)

Kinder complete

Kadence finished off her full day kindergarten. Her graduation was adorable.  We're soo soo thankful for the amazing Ms. Grant. Kadence loved her (and was supposidly one of her favorite :) )
