Seven Magic Mountains

Another thing I've wanted to check out for a while!
Seven Magic Mountians.
This is only about 30 min from us and near were we go shooting.

We linked up with Rose Kim D Grey and Jax and headed over.
It was hot and busy but it made for some fun pictures.

Wizard of Oz

I have wanted to go to Super Summer theater play for a few years. Whenever I finally remember at the end of summer they have been sold out. A few weeks ago I thought about it and wanted to go see Peter Pan that night. It was sold out.
ugh!

So I looked forward a few weeks and saw an opening for Wizard of Oz.
I asked Kadence if she wanted to go with me.
She totally did and talked about it for weeks.

It starts at 8p but I figured we better go about 6p..
then the day of I read we should go about 5:30p

I had no problem because I figured we would just bring snacks and card games and walk around.
We did just that.
We stood in line for about 1hr (but we had the wagon so it was no big deal)

We got a great spot and the sun was going down.
It was 2 hours of perfection with my girl.
One on one time getting snacks and talking.
Playing games and going on a small walk.
I loved it all before the play even started.

The play ended up being really cute and I'm sold on going annually now (either as a family or just a mom daughter date..we will see).

We both LOVED this night.

Bb Gun

Jaiden has had a few different air soft guns over the past few years but he got his first Bb gun. Marco's had bought one a while back for fun and never used it. He gave it to Jaiden.

Jai was trying to hang out his window and shoot at the garbage and stuff.
It looks like and Ar rifle and 8 told him he was gonna get the cops called on us. I told him I would take him to the desert that night.

I love me some one on one time.
Just me and my boy.

The next day we took the dogs running as a family and he brought it again.

First Day of School

I was seriously ready for the kids to go back to school this year.
No because of fighting but the kids are now at really independent ages and they were home almost every day.
They were incredible but we also had a very unproductive summer. I felt like electronics were raising my kids and that was rough. Pete and I came home tired most days, so getting out and about was a struggle.
The boys continued with Basketbalk practices and kadence has done tumbling this summer. We also went to west n wild quite a bit but overall. Bad habits set in.
Boys up late, sleeping in way late.

I was ready for summer to come to an end for work..and for kids to have a schedule again.
I can't believe how fast time flies.
