Lake..End of Ocotber ?

Seriously ...we have this boat right. Summer were slammed and don't have much time. Then it was one thing after another. When life slowed down and the weather was fabulous, what happened?   Oh the freaking government shuts down. I was so mad. I needed in ONE more boat trip... and not just cruising around or fishing.
I wanted my babes to have fun in the water.

Well. believe it or not.. Last weekend (Yep..end of October) the temperature was 83* at the lake. Water was a little chilly but didn't slow us down much.
So heres to our last..water fun lake day of the year!!


So glad I had a real camera this trip. LOVE

Annual Family Halloween Party

 

Its become a tradition to get together with my family and carve pumpkins. This year Celestial hosted it at her house and even fed the whole gang!

She got in the mood for face painting and the kids LOVED it. Shes way more talented that me and did a great job on all the kids.

 

This year a fair amount of the family couldn't make it .. as our family grows its harder and harder to fit everyones schedules ... and distance ( Carters and Hunters :(  )

Blondie

Rylan has been asking when Ill let him dye his hair blonde. We already know why>> Hes got a slight obseesion with Ross Lynch from the Disney Show on Tv Austin & Ally.

Ive always know Rylan likes to Dance. I always thought he likes hip hop dance, but over the past 6 months im realizing more and more from watching him and asking certain questions, that maybe its not the hip hop he likes.

He REALLY likes the One man show dancing. THIS is what Austin does.

He really likes when everyone watched him to.

I just think hes the cutest thing ever!

Soo.. back to the point here.
Rylan likes blonde hair. So when I was getting my hair dyed brown hes was a little bummed.
He also kept asking if he could do his blonde.

I let Celestial streak a few blondes up front.

He loves it!!

Running

Jaiden went through a spurt a while back were he would ask to run home all the time. He'd want is to drop him off down the street and let him run.

The other day he asked again.  This time all 3 wanted in on the running

Mommy date night

WhileJaiden had his night witj dad i had to have some fun with these two.
We started the night with kademces soccer-- which happened to be the best game shes had by far.

Then we headed to cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 in 3d

We very rarley go to the movies so they were solo excited!!

Very First NBA game

Two weekends ago Jaiden got to go to his very forst NBA game. 

A supply house that Pete sold alot for over the summer let him pick what he wanted tickets to. He chose the clippers game. Guerro (from Sigler) his son and friend annd and petes friend jay all went.

Jaiden loved it all 

I guess it was a really good game and went into over time!!

Glad my boys got to have some fun guy time!!

Of course..this is all i got as far as pictures goes...and that was with requesting them.

I Just cant get enough of these little ones. All my babies still like to be "babied" and i LOve it. Last soccer game rylan sat on my lap half the game.

Overdue date night

 

 

I Really couldnt remember our last date night. So this was so long over due.
Since we needed a date so badly i didnt want to just do dinner and a movie. I needed so TIME with pete. I get to sit next to him on the couch all the time. Hha

We went to eat
Then we headed to paint eachother mugs in town square.

Loved loved everything about it.
Laughing and talking.

After that we sat down and ate and talked some more

We eneded the night sleeping at granny with the kids so we didnt go home exhausted sincewe had an early morning.

So glad we had a night alone.

Foodie Fest

We went to foodie fest.  Ate some good food. 

This is the fair to go to if you want to do rides. Everyone is there for the food so there were No lines at all. The kids rode a few. 

The kids did the huge swings and I was second guessing why I let my baby do it.  They fly so high and fast and she was so tiny. We couldn't tell if she liked it or if she was freaked out. They all said they loved it though!

Last night at practice she kicked the goal in the wrong goal. When the coach told her...

YEP!! that happened.

I should have gone with my gut instinct and kept this girl FAR FAR away from sports.

haha... She does enjoy soccer (mostly running with the girls and giggling I think) and it is fun to watch her but its definitely not her "THING"

FIRST FAM TRIP!! 2x's the charm? duck creek!

 

When we went to duck creek earlier this month the heater wasn't working.  OOHHHH.. shoot. That meant we had to go back ;)   and before it got too cold.  So this weekend we up and did it.

 

To make things AMAZING!!

 

In 8 years of marriage THIS was our familys VERY FIRST family trip with just us 5.

 

I cant express how excited I was.

Ive been telling Pete for a long time how badly I wanted to do this.

I wanted a get away were we do what we want to do, when we want to do it. We eat what we want, when we want. Wake up when we want.

Ok... this might sound selfish... but really, is it?

 

This trip was PERFECTION!!

 

We left a 6pm on Friday night, we stopped at bass pro, and walmart.

We got there at 11p.

My kids were up at 6a and we were making pancakes.

Sunday we had breakfast at 10a

See.. they joy!! When you want

 

Not that Im saying any other trip is bad. Because lets be honest. We love them all.

But I must say... I knew Id LOVE this and I will make my family time a priority on the vacation list.

 

Saturday Pete needed something at home depot so we headed down the mountain to Cedar.

 

They had a community fair going on, so we swung in for some free fun!

 We made smores with reeses..YUM!!

 We watched late night movies

 Sat around the fire..  or smoke in this case

 The kids favorite... playing on the rocks.

 We are in duck creek at the pizza joint " hot mamas" and decorated a dollar for the wall

 We enjoyed the gorgeous views.  I Loved the changing leaves and have added "visit somewere with red leaves in the fall" to my bucket list... oh wait, the one I need to make!

 We ate pancakes.

 And just kinda loved on eachother all weekend!!

 

Soo... heres to time with my amazing family of Five + one adorable chocolate lab.

 

We will be doing this again before another five years rolls around!
