Aunt Clara and Greys 10!!

I hate getting behind because then it usually never gets blogged. The last weekend in January we headed to California for Petes Great Aunt Clara Funeral. We went for a sad reason but had alot of fun while there.

Petes original plan was to fly up with his mom and the family stay home. We decided to make a trip out of it. Rylan even ditch school Thursday and Friday to head up with Granny, we only ditched friday. By the time we got there he had told us he was moving out and staying in California. It was good for him to have a little bit of spoiling because hes been acting out lately for attention.

Anways.. Our 3 days in pictures...

 We ate at Farrells for Greys 10th Birthday. YUMMY!!  The kids all left with some candy too. Nino got a HUGE jawbreaker the size of a softball.

 Seriously... I would have LOVED to worked here as a teenager. They get all into singing happy birthday wit hfun crazy songs and thats what most people come for.

I love that my kids sometimes cant get enough of each other. 

 You know how some moms cant pee alone. Weve moved on from that stage (well...mostly).  Kadence always seems to know when Im taking a hot bath. Not showers..but when i want a long hot bath with a book. no go. haha, I guess a girl cant ask for too much. I do sneak off sometimes without being caught

I got this quote over 10 years ago. Its been on a little paper with nothing ever done with it. Pete use the back as scrap paper and I was worried it might get thrown away.

The Latelys

We were having car troubles with the Tahoe. Weve been wanting a truck for a while so we ended up trading it in. Rex LOVES it. He gets out and about more and he loves his hair blowing in the wind ;)  ..Really though.   He use to run out of my house and down the street.. not anymore, he runs out of my house and stops at the tailgate! Just love this pup! 

 Granny got a new puppy!! Shes just the cutest! If I had a bigger yard (and more time on my hands), I may not have let Pete take her away. Pete found her on Craigslist and picked her up for his mom. My kids LOVE her. Especially Rylan. Rylan you talk about her atleast 4 times a week.

 After Jaiden baptism and football game we headed to Grimaldis and Sweet Addictions (Jaidens been wanting to take his family since his birthday)

 Sunday was Kennadee's Baby Blessing (Along with Gradma Sanders Birthday..who Kenadee is named after)

 Monday was the 100th day of school!!

 A few weeks ago Greg surprised Alisha with a Birthday cake the day before her Birthday! Working with family has its benefits!

Eight is Great

2/2/13 Jaiden Jesse Almanza was Baptized and Confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints!     I cant begin to tell you what a happy day it was. I made a big emphasis to Jaiden for about the year prior that this was his chose. He needed to pray about it and see how he felt. He needed to pay attention to the way he was feeling during his baptism and confirmation. I was completely impressed with Jaiden. He sat through everything ALL EARS. He really took everything in. I had a few compliments from others about that afterwards to. Pete was able to perform these ordinaces for him and I am so very thankful for this great husband of mine. It may be in my head but Jaiden seems to have changed a little this past week. Weve had less fighting and a very sweet Jaiden. Pete agrees.

Jaiden had a ton of family and friends there to support him. Were thankful to everyone who made this day so special!! We loved having a surprise Saturday morning that Petes sisters had drove in at midnight to be there for Jaiden to. It really meant alot!
