Trip to Hurricane

Ash and Jed moved to Hurricane a few months ago. Pete got to see the house when he went up bird hunting but I hadn't seen it yet.
Ty and whit moved up the beginning of this month too.
Saturday after the boys game we headed up to spend the night. They are doing lots of renovation projects but there home is just beautiful already and there lots more they are doing. The yard is AMAZING and all the kids had a blast. Saturday they had more people over so a total of 12 kids, you'd hardly know cause the kids played outside.

There was some middle of the night drama (even in hurricane) with the neighbors.

We helped with a few projects which was fun. Then today we hit "devils pit" but it was freezing so we didn't stay long.

It was a fun quick trip and we can't wait to go back when it's warm some more fun!

Since the kids stayed at Roses we snuck in a movie at 10:30pm... that's unusual for us oldies. It was a fun night seeing old friends.

Snow day

For Christmas the kids went in on a hotel stay up at Mt. Charleston and we would all meet up and play in the snow.  Due to schedules they'll spend the night another weekend but we had the snow fun this past saturday.  Pete had to play in the baseball tournament so he missed out. We had lots of fun!

Baseball Tournament

Pete played in a baseball tournament with his cousin this weekend. We missed 2 games because of snow and the boys basketball but we caught the last two. It was fun watching them play. Pete had fun but was super sore after.

We did all kinds of stuff while Petes family was here. Movies. Food. Making tamales. Gravady. Repelling (another post). Lots and lots of sleepovers.
