Hide N Seek

We have 3 neighboorhoods within a few minutes walking distance that are perfect for riding a bike, scooter and skating around..while I can enjoy and not stress that a car will hit them. The past 2 nights weve taken advantage. Last night Pete was working late. I took the kids down the street and wound up taking off skates and playing Hide N Seek barefoot. Gorilla face!!

Crazy Saturday and Bronchitis

Friday to Saturday I had my Nephew Matix while Celestial and Brandon headed to Utah for a Youth Activity. Pete and I took the kids to Burger King for dinner and to let the play for a while before heading home for a chill/movie night.

These two constantly copy each other. Athough Kadence started this one.. usually she follows Matix.

Rylan was break dancing along with the movie Step Up 3

Then we put on a kid movie and relaxed.

That was perfect. The kids fell asleep on the ground in hte loft. I planned on putting Matix in Kadences bed and letting her sleep with us for the night. I tried moving him 2x's SUPER gentle and soft because I knew he was a light sleeper. Whoa.. Lighter than I thought. He kept waking up so I put Kadence in her bed and left him on the Loft floor for the 3rd attempt. He woke up 3x times in the night but thankfully went right back down when I layed next to him. I knew the kids would be up super early since jaiden goes to the loft early for cartoons. 5:30a and 4 kids awake on a Saturday wasnt too exciting.

Pete left for church calling and I was nuts and decided it would be a good idea to make waffles with home made strawberry syrup and homemade Lemonade. WHY I didnt just do cereal I have no Idea. By the time I was finished kids were hungry, kitchen was a wreck and Kadence and Matix were getting cranky (Kadence wound up sick and Im sure Matixs sleeping didnt help). Pete came home WAY!! I gave the boys hair cuts. Then work called and said Pete had a install. Pete would be leaving. Oh wait.. he needed Adams help too. I get Jade as well. No biggy! Whats one more kid.

The next few hours are a blur. 5 kids, One sick, One with Diahrea and the house I stressful because Its a wreck. I managed to mop downstairs (which needed to be mopped again Sunday ;) ). I also managed to get all kids down from naps by 1pm. (Except Jade). By this time Kadence had lost her voice and was making a barking noise only when she cried. I wanted to get her checked out. I figured some kind of respitory infection. Pete comes home. Adam gets Jade and I take Kadence to a Quick Care. Shes got Bronchitis! I get the perscription and head out. When I get back the kids are all still asleep. Of Course.. dont dads always get the easy way out ;) j/k. I was in no mood to make dinner, to exhausted and spent. We got Buffalo Wild Wings which made the night better. About 7 pm I brought Matix over to my Parents were Leshal & Brandon were headed. Sunday was spent realxing and hoping Kadence would be feeling better. :) Slept in, took and LONG nap and here we are Monday ready to roll!! Saturday was chaotic and Im glad its over!

This morning last minute I remembered Rylan had been telling me all week that today he was suppose to paint his face like a circus animal and he wanted to be a lion. All I had to do this was water paint (the orange.. hard to see on phone pic) and black and brown eyeliner, white eye shadow. He was stoked and so were his friends when he walked in class. This week has been circus week at daycare.
Wednesday night I mentioned to Pete I want to get back t odoing regualr date night/guys night with the kids one on one and only one parents. Pere took Jai to Harry Potter and I spent the night Playing Kinect Dance Central. Soo fun!! He knows exactly what song he wants. Kadence would watch Ry with me and the nshed jump up and dance along side me on my turns. Super Cute. Ill have to get video. Here Ry to "Soldier Boy"

Something is just Super Sexy about a hard working Man. When I met Pete obviously I was attracted to him but I would always joke that his hands were softer and smoother than mine. I was raised to work hard and get dirty. I just like a man with rough hands, and banged up arms ;) Weird?? I even think he smeels good after a long day at work.

7/11/11 7/11 had their free slurpees. Id read it on facebook all day and planned on gettign the kids on. But when the time came I totally spaced it. I only remembered because I went to return a redbox.. at 7-11 and saw all the cars. I saw a friend their and started talking. Jaiden grabbed a big one before I noticed so we had to pay for it. The boys used their allowance to buy super cool straws too.

The night before out camping trip the boys wanted to "Camp Out" in the loft. They do this about every 2 weeks but it never seems to get ould. They LOVE it.

REAL LIFE!!

I love to blog!! I love to look back on my blog ALL THE TIME. I have pictures and memories that would have been long forgotten.. and only from months ago. Although, Sometime when reading friends blogs I get discouraged. I feel like Im failing as a mother or a wife. There are so many blogs that I read that post the good, the great, and the fun. Of course the occasionaly bad but not much. This includes my own blog. Ive been reading one friends blog lately and I LOVE it. Its hilarious, entertaining, and inspiring. It REAL life on a day to day basis. The funny, the bad, the crazy, and chaotic. I want that to be me. I want to look back in 20 years when my kids are going through what Im going through and remember. Of course I might leave out stuff but for the most part.. Im going to try improving on posting about the REAL stuff going on.


Soo..

The past week Ive been super bummed. I work full time and I feel lots like I dont take care of the important things. Some days I do well, and the next I dont. Some days I clean and cook and have quality time. But most NOT! Summer hasnt helped at all, seeing all the fun most moms are having with their kids. I took off last thursday... I woke up in the morning and started bawling like a big baby. I could not go to work. I wanted to be with the kids. I text my mom and adam (who would have to cover) that I NEEDED the day off. I was so upset I couldnt even call. I spent the day.. ENJOYING my kids. playing, cuddling, reading, relaxing, and playing some more. I didnt clean. It was perfect. I wish I could do it more often.. but right now, reality is I cant.

The kids all still really love daycare. But Kadence just moved up to a new class and I was struggling with her new teachers. I didnt LOVE either one of them and Ive ALWAYS loved BOTH of all 3 kids teachers. Jaiden had been being misbehaving some (mostly to hyper and not listening). It was making work so UNAPPEALING. Kadence wants to wear panties and wants to go potty but I didnt have confidence in her teachers (these teachers were for about a week). Thankfully yesterday I went to pick her up and they swapped teachers around and I LOVE the new teacher. She was soo great. She talked to me for a while about Kadences day and she helped with potty training. Kadence even PEED in the potty 3 x, 2x she was dry befroe hand!! This is FABULOUS. Kadence has been REALLY wanting panties on at home but she doesnt ever go in the potty. Just has an accident and gets on clean ones. So im impressed. Jaidens been doing much better listening and behaving. He went to Petco yesterday on a field trip. His teacher said he was GREAT! Ive felt much better this week.

Bryce Canyon/Mammoth Creek

Pete & I have been wanting to take the kids stream fishing again. We talked about just doing a one day thing.. Like we do for snowboarding. When we mentioned to Leshal & Brandon they invited us to tag along with Brandons Brotehrs family, and Aunt and Uncle and Some friends. Im glad they didnt mind us bombarding. It was perfect.

First off... I want to move to Utah.. OK, maybe not since I cant handle to snow but seriously.. I just love traveling though all of this...

Just Gorgeous. By the time we were driving threw to mountains it was sun down and we saw Elk and LOTS of deer. 3 Right at the side of the road. I was making Pete nervous and the kids excited by yelling. :) Soo fun!!

We had lots of fun... Down time, play time, games, bike rides, kids painted, made ice cream, and took naps. PERFECTION!! We had a total of 21 people (11 kids 6 and under)
Brandon woke up early to Fish on Saturday and brought back this cutie. The kids had a blast with him for a while.

We headed out to the nearby Lake to fish.. Bad news. The lines kept getting caught. No fish caught and Kadence got super cranky. We packed it up. Rylan Said that was the worst fishing ever! haha.. it kinda was
We came back for more down time.

Sunday Morning we packed up camp and headed out. On the way home is Duck Creek.. or Mammoth Lake.. which is were we discovered Stream Fishing last year. We took a quick detour and went there. SOO WORTH IT. We caught fish. Had a blast.. and the kids did too. We came across the cute swing and Jai LOVED it. And.. as you can see.. Absolutley GORGEOUS!!

And.. Im proud to announce .. I CAUGHT my very first FISH!! Super Excited!!

And... the whole trip was worth THIS....
PRICELESS!! So much excitement and nervousness in ONe!! LOVE LOVE it. She would jump up and down whenever we caught more. Soo precious!

Plus, Im super excited to annouce my husband grows more and more found of camping each time. Hes ready to stock up.. Christmas this year is camping supplies/tent/kitchen...who knows!! But were ready :)

Some of Kadence lately:

** She cant say Jaiden, so Daddy taught her his middle name.. Jesse. It so cute coming from her.. but I wonder if this will cause confusion one day. My little sisters name is Celestial and we call her Leshal or Lesh> MOST of the time. This was the same situation. We couldnt say it and it must have stuck.

** Pete does this with her ALL THE TIME.. So cute... He quickly say "Whos my pretty little princess" Kadence: MMMEEEEE (In a long high pitch voice and a huge smile. Then he would say YYYEEEEAAAHHHH, and she repeats it after him. They do it in this certain tone that I cant even do. It soo cute!

** Rella!! I love LOVE this. Kadence is getting in the Princesses ALOT lately. She knows the name Cindarella (Rella) and must think thats the word instead of princess.

** Lellow (Yellow) thats what every color is.

** Not nice.. she still says is alot. But this weekend while camping one of the girls was put in time out and was throwing a fit. Kadence looked at mean and said.. Shes mean! What?? I explained she was sad not mean. But shes said it a few more times now.

** Rylan and Kadence are little teasers and they LOVE to tease each other. And I thought Jai and Ry were bad.....

Yesterday Kadence lined up her "Babies" and was feeding them. I was wondering why she had teh lotion and was pretending to dump it onto the spoon. Then I realized thats what she sees her Nini Kim do for Jaxon. She even made me buy her some more or the squeeze fruit out of the baby section. Just LOVE having a girl!

Heres my left overs of the 4th of July.. Or the 2nd. I noticed this after some neighbors had been setting off ealry fireworks. I dont know who but its UGLY! :(

My boys have been getting along really pretty well for them lately. Here is what I found Saturday morning. You should see the rest of the loft. Huge mess but soo worth the fun they were having.

Kade is getting more and more into cartoons. She will sit and hang out upstairs and wathc with the boys while Pete & I are downstairs .... Most the time. Shes starting to like it to wake up in the morning like the boys to. Ive moved from doing her hair in the bathroom to the loft most days because shes sit for a real long time and she hasnt been doing well in the bathroom lately.

4th Of July

We started our 4th of July with waking up at 5:30a > CRAZY I know, but we wanted to beat the heat. I told my parents that it been 5 years since we went and thats just not ok. Sooo We had pancakes out there and then repelled. The weather was perfect and we were heading out just as it got hot.

RYLAN: He really wanted to try it out. But once he started moving backward freaked out, walked forward and said he didnt want to try. I.. being the mean mom I am ;) (or the mom who KNEW he would love it) MADE him do it. Im a huge believer in at least trying it once. Then if you dont want to .. THEN you can say no. So I hooked him up to me and took him down the 15-20 ft cliff. Thankfully.. hes heavy. At the bottom he said "I didnt know it was that short" So he eventaully did it all alone and liked it. There a reason I force my kids to do things. Im glad he liked it.

All the family had a good time. And everyone went down but Pete. He belayed and helped with the ropes but repelling really isnt his thing. He was a good supporter for the kids though.

JAIDEN: LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of this. I knew hed take RIGHT to it. He was the first little one down the small cliff and went again and again and agian. At the end, I told him he could hike down of go down the big (100 ft.) cliff next to me. He DID IT!! I was so proud. He did soo well. It even has a free fall at the bottom. When he was reapelling he was bouncing from rock to rock. He looked like a spider monkey.

Kadence enjoyed herself. She liked climbing around. We took her to the top and I had planned on taking her down the big cliff with me. We were hoooked up and ready to go. She was NOT a happy camper and I didnt want her hair or fingers getting caught while she was upset so SHE DID NOT go down. Eventually we took her to the bottom to climb around since she didnt want to sit in laps but I didnt want her roaming a huge cliff. She kept trying to take off her shoe and kill the BUGGIES!!

Celestial did take Matix down and he LOVED every second. He even stopped to pose for Grandmas camera (I dont have those). Celestial only came for a minute then had t oleave but he asked for more. Maybe next time.

We planned on taking the cousins to a movie but they were too tired. So we headed home for naps. Then to dad and moms for fun. We had WAY TOO MUCH FOOD. Did the slip n slide and played a little water volleyball.. or mostly toss then back and forth. Also had some jacuzzi fun.

The big boys started a water fight which ended with half the girls wet too. Too fun!!


We ended the night with dessert and fireworks but my camera died :( Maybe its a good thing. I took a million pictures already

N. Las Vegas 4th

Celestial Invited our family to a concert/fireworks in the park the Saturday before the 4th. When we got there the line was super long and the guys tried convincing Celestial & I we should do something else. We told them if they could think of somethins as cheap and as fun we would. Too bad they couldnt :) haha.. The line moved fast and the kids had fun. We did a couple free jumping houses , gramped some slushies and parked it on our blankets. The fireworks started and the kids LOVED them. Rylan and Matix danced to the music the whole time. Adorable!!

Wendys Here!!

My sister Wendy is HERE!!! I was SOO excited!! She been hers since ther 24ht and will leave tommorrow morning :( It been busy and super fun! It really stinks working in the summer when all the other moms are out having fun with there kids. Life will go on but Im been pretty bummed out about it lately. Anyways.. We still managed to have fun in the evenings. The days have become jumbled and were super tires but heres some of what weve been up to lately ....



The night before Matix's 2nd Birthday Party.. Celestial, Mom,Wendy, and I got together and made these super cute alien cupcakes for his Toy Story Party while Pete and Brandon lucked out and headed to the movies since we had more help. It was fun and It was the first night Wendy was in so I was glad we got to snatch her and the kids up.

Celebrated Matix at the Park with lots for Family and Friends. They had a snow cone machine and popcorn machine!! HUGE HIT!!

I got to ditch out of work half day and meet my sister at the Black Mountain pool.. My absolute favorite. Rylan swam without any floaties and Kadence thought she was the queen of the world. Doing her own thing and having all the bigs kids spoil her by helping her do the slide over and over again. Jaiden as usual was my little fish. He amazed Wendy by swimming circles around her and never touching bottom or grabbing onto her. She said her BIG kids still do that. Hes got endurance thats for sure.
We went to a indoor pool one night and are going back tonight. This is the night I MADE Rylan take of his lifejacket. He was nervous and then completly took to swimming. I should have done this soomer but oh well. He thinks he pretty awesome now. Dad missed it but will see another time.

We dropped off Kadence at my moms late one night and headed to our movie. Pete and my boys are HUGE transformers fans. Pete grew up on it and has given my boys a love for it. We watched it in 3d.. My first movie in 3d.. LOVE IT!! Ry konked about 15 min before it was over. The nexxt morning at 6am we paid for it though. Especially after the whole week of fun!
I cant believe the next time I see my sister will probably be a year from now. I hate it!! The kids have so much fun together.
