Bye Bye MOHAWK!! =(

Ever since Rylan was born I have MOhawked that boys hair> Litterally. Heres a picture that was just easy to get to of him a baby but a little bigger> With his mohawk. We LOVE his mohawk. It looks darling on him and it TOTALLY fits this boys funky personality. Well I wanted to TRY something new considering that all weve seen on him> Pete, not so much! >> ANyways, I did it and I LIKE it. Not love it yet but I think I will. Its too short on top right now but I had to go that short because that was the length of the sides grown out (Yea i like em clean cut)so once in 1 or 2 more haircuts I think Ill like it alot. Who knows.. Pete may want the MOhawk back.. but Rylans Liking it =)

FireFighters!!

We went to Firehouse subs this weekend and with kids meals they get little firemen hats. Of course my boys loved that!! Well the next day while I was doing the dishes I put Kadence in the boys room and heres what I came back too. I just LOVE my kids. They keep me smiling!

Sitter

We have a SITTER!! Kadence has been full blown sitter on her own for long amounts of time (5-10 min) ALL on her OWN!! I cant believe how fast time is flying by. I love how much fun shes getting and all her new accomplishments but I feel sad my babys growing way tooo fast.


At the boys soccer game on Saturday she even got to sit in the big boy chair for a little bit =) Doesnt she look like a little toddler.

Rant!

So today I took my boys to the sitter so I could get some much needed doctor appts out of the way.
Kadence got her 6 month check with shots > no fun!!. Plus since shes not using her legs the doctor wants her to get x-rays (just precautionary!!) Not worried but she WONT stand on her legs and she has an extra fat roll on one leg up high so that COULD mean so of set in her hips. Doctor thinks shes just lazy.. along with me =) haha.

Then onto a MUCH needed dental appointment for me. I havent been in YEARS.. Yea horrible me. So Ive been having a tooth ache and went in. They drilled it out and did a temporary crown. Next week lucky me get a ROOT CANAL!! So not looking for to that (mostly the bill) But now my mouth hurts bad while I wait for my pain killer to be ready.


Not quite the day I love but whatda do!!

Kadence is 6 months Old!!

Seriously.. were has the time gone!! I cant even believe this. My Baby is a so big already. She is soo sweet and we LOVE having her around. some fun things about her

*Big time daddies girl and will look around me to see him
*She still wont use those little legs or hers, they more so were not conserned but im sure it will slo her down from crawling and walking (which im ok by =) )
*She is a HAPPy BABY, she is very easy going and lets Rylan pick on her and Jaiden love her to death.
*Kadence now loves her tummy time (about a month ago she didnt)
*Everyone comments on ALL her long hair, and I do love it.. but Im realizing I HAVE to do somehting with it everyday or its CRAZY!! I already use conditoner on her hair every bath or her hair looks like dreadlocks in the back. And if she didnt get a bath then I had to use leave in conditioner to straighten it out. >>So far shes got a REALLY tough head, she doesnt even cry when there are nasty knots.
* I STILL am trhilled I got my girl> Shes ALWAYS the first one ready in our house cause I LOVE getter her ready!


Some new things that have happened in the last week or so:


*She got her sick for the first time (Thankfully just a low fever) now she got runny/stuffy nose though.
*She swang in the swings at the park for the first time

* I figured her hair is long enough for pig tails so shes had those a few times now




*She is starting to sit up >> Only for about 5 seconds but if I put her boppy behind her she manages for a while

Im not sure how much she weighs right now but shes a chunk!! > Just how I like 'em

NOT full time

So about 3 weeks ago I went back to work for my dad almost full time while my boys went to a babysitter and Kadence came with me. I got really bummed out. I want to help earn a little extra money but I REALLY want to be at home with my kids. I wanted this forever and then finally once i got it I REALLY enjoyed it. So going back to work was really hard and depressing. So I decided to watch my niece Jade (whos babysitter is moving in a few weeks so they needed a new place for her anyway) and that way Id be home with my babys and earn a little extra cash. So I watch her Monday, Thursday, Friday and then go into the office Tuesday, and Wednesday. This just started this week but so far so good =) haha. Im much happier with this arrangment.

Pole Position

For Brandons Birthday we went to Pole Position!! I HIGHLY reccomend you all to go for a date night or group thing or whatever!! Its race cars that reach speeds or 45 miles hr. It was SOO much fun. It is pricey though. $30 per person but it was ALOT of fun. GOOO!! =)

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with some friends last weekend and the kids had a alot of fun, Jaiden keeps asking to go again so Im sure we will before Halloween gets here but I got some cute pictures I had to post for family to see =) Enjoy!!

5 months!!

Today Kadence is 5 months!! I cant believe how fast it has gone. She is such a little blessing to have in our home. Shes just soo much fun. She is such a sweetheart.
Some fun Facts about her now:
She only occasionally with use her legs to stand (very rare)
She is becoming more fond od tummy time but wont do for more than 5 min.
She is a bankie and binky baby> these two are a MUST at nap or bedtime.
She loves a blankie touching her face.
She Loves her big brothers, and loves hanging out in their room watching them play.
She is a foot twiddler (yea, Im not sure what that is either>> but she twiddles her feet ALL the time. If shes tired or about to get cranky her feet start a going =) it it hilarious)
She loves being tossed lightly in the air of flipped upside down.
She may be a little shy, most of the time when you get her to smile, she'll turn away real quick. She'll even do it to herself when looking in the mirrior.

Jaidens Date Night

Pete has taken Jaiden out for Guys Night (they gone to the movies and to a basketball game now) well Jaiden wanted a date night with mommy. My sister Wendys kids were having their schools Crystal Palace night so I could get in free with skates and Jaiden in and skates for $5 with pizza and drink too. I took that offer up and just me and Jaiden went for a date night. He had so much fun skating and playing at the arcade. I had alot of fun spending the night with him too. Its nice to just have that one on one time with the kids. I now need to figure out a night for my Ry Guy.

So I took this picture a few weeks back but had to post it, I LOVE it. It totally looks like Kadence is pointing at Jaiden and thinking>> Really I got stuck with these two boys. The face totally says it too!! Haha

Back to Work!!

Today was my first day back to work (at my Dads office). I do although get to take my baby with me =). A lady in out ward is watching my boys for a great deal and her house is just fabulously kid friendly. I stopped by friday to let the boys get a feel of the place and get to know her and her kids and her and I talked. It took me about 15 min to get them to leave. Then this morning when I dropped them off the didnt even kiss me bye or say it for that matter. They were just excited to go play. So Im glad they are happy were they'll be. Im not working completely full time but close enough. Ill be working 35 hrs/ wk. I drop the kids off at 10 and pick them up at 6, with 1 hr. off the clock to go in and work on the house so that when im with the kid sI get to BE with the kids =). Before I worked 7-5 so this seems dueable. I actually get to hang out with them before dropping them off. So well see how it all plays out. Heres to work!!

My babies not so teeny!!

Kadence is already 4 1/2 months old!! I cant believe its gone so fast. She got her shots this past week and she weighs 14 lbs 4 oz. and is 24 inches long. Shes in the 75 percentile in both. She my little chunko and I love her that way. Her brothers still love her to death. Weve started her on rice and her veggies. She got peas first and litterally cried. Obviously not her favorite. Some facts about my precious girl:
She hates tummy time. Shell only lay on her tummy for a few seconds and get REAL mad. The doctor told me she needs more because she should be stronger by now. So ive been tricking her by laying her across my lap so shes holding her head and strengthing her back and not realizing it.

She WILL NOT stand up. My boys did when they were like 2 weeks old so Im pretty surprised she still doesnt want to. I mean NEVER will this girl stand. Doctor says dont worry, her legs work =)

She is THE BEST baby EVER!! >> not just cause Im mommy but really. She hardly cries and she just goes along with pretty much anything. I cant myself realizing its been to long since I acknowledge her and have to go over to play and hold her because she will let you just go about cleaning or dealing wit hboys forever before she needs your attention.

She TALKS up a storm. Am I really ready for a girl to talk my ear off>> YEP.. IM AM!! =)

She loves watching her borthers.

She rolled over only 1x and that was about a week and a half ago and she hasnt dont it since.

Just make it through the day

Im at this point in parenting were Im trying to really decide some days on whether some things really matter or not. Some days I get my kids all dressed and do their hair and then a few hours later they decide they want to be in their underwear or naked for that matter (dont worry I dont let that fly) or in last years halloween costumes. Some days it drives me crazy but really.. were just home, does it matter that much? Im still on the edge for that one. But what about destroying the room? Or rearranging things? That i dont really mind. I remember my parents let us do lots of our own crazy stuff like this growing up and they stick out in my mind as some of my best memories. I remeber lining the Whole house with books and playing hot lava. Or our room was our domain and we could rearrange or decorate however we pleased. I want to be better at just letting my kids enjoy. So lately they rearrange there room or destoy it and we just let in be that way until the end of the day. Soo.. what matters in my parenting right now? >> Not how my kids look or my house.. but that my kids are enjoying their precious childhood and that im choosing my battles how I feel are important!!

Lake Mead

My parents have a boat (for the time being..weird/long story) so we went up as a family to lake mead this weekend. Pete had to work so we went without him =(. I had to talk Jaiden into getting on the tube and before we barley even got going he was yelling at me to make them stop and he wanted off (What.. is this my Jaiden??, he did like being on the obat and watching everyone else go though).



Rylan got on with me and was loving it. I kept trying to get him to go faster but he didnt want to but he was going a good speed for a 3 year old. Then he was sinking into the tube and his legs were getting stuck so I tried pulling them out and I made teh front of the tube go under and we fell off. =/ he wasnt too thrilled about that. We camped by a big hill and the kids had a blast climbing it and swimming in the water. Kadence had fun hanging out with her Cousin Matix in the trailer. They like cuddling and holding hands. We had a fun time and have to take daddy out with us soon.

Long overdue

LOTS has happened this past two months. Some I havent felt much like blogging about which is why I havent.. but its time to put stuff in so I dont forget.


First things first. Petes dad passed away the begining of August. So that was very rough on the family to say the least. He has had bad health for a while and is a cancer survivor. Although the last few months got worse. He was admitted to the hospital for low blood pressure as a precautionary measure and then ended up on life support (Im keeping this real breif) after 3 days the family decided together it was his time. My boys understood that he was in Heaven but didnt quiet realize.


On a better note. We peirced Kadence's ears when she was 31/2 months. I planned on 2 months but couldnt bring myself to do it. But she did pretty well and she looks darling with them.

We signed the boys back up for soccer.

Shots & Shiners!!

This week weve made it to the pediatrician 2x's>> Exciting Right!! Maybe not!!

Sunday: Jaiden decided he wanted to skateboard on one of his race trucks and fell and gashed his eye open.

MOnday: Kadence 2 mo (little late) appt. for shots. She weighed in at 12 lbs. 4 oz. and was 23 3/4 in. long. Shes a little chunk and did rather well with the shots. She only cried for a minute. The doctor sees Jaidens eye butterflied up and asked about it.


Wednesday: I take the kids to the park and before Ry, Kadence, and I even get to the playground Jaiden had fallen and his eye immediately had a huge egg, Luckily it didnt split open were I had butterflied a few days earlier. So we rush home and get ice on it. Within the hour he looks like Quazimoto from Huntback of Notre Dame (The side of his eye was bulging out). We decide it looks worse than it probably is but dont let him fall asleep just in case he got a concusion.

Thursday: Wake up in morning and Jaiden cant even remotely open his eye. Its completely swollen shut. I decide were heading to the doctor. Of course we wait 35 min in waiting room, then move to the back and wait with 3 kids in tiny room for 1hr. 30min. REALLY >>> Im surprised we didnt have another black eye>> no, I wasnt ready to beat them, only the doctor, but what boys can sit still that long. I even mentioned it to the doctor and she said shes had it happen were she was stitching up a siblings face who wasnt even that patient that day just from the office room. Ugh. So she checks him out and says it mostly looks superficial but wanted and x-ray just in case. So we head there and wait 30 min to find out I cant havethe 2 little ones there. So we head home for naps to keep my sanity and then I drop off the little ones at my friend Ambers and then head on back. Jaiden was stoked to have them done and even more stoked to see what his bones looked like. He told me on the way home we should have got some to take home. Too bad =( But looks like everything is fine. IT WAS ALL WORTH THE PEACE OF MIND. 4 days later he still looks horrible, just colorful though.

3 x's >> REALLY~~

Im feel like im running on empty. Kadence is NOT the best sleeper. She is now waking up 3x's a night and this has been going on for WEEKS!! My boys were pretty good from the get go but this girl is not so much =(. At the beginning she would wake up once PLUS, all my kids would nap together so I'd get one in to. Thats NOT the case anymore. I try everyday to get them down together, because I feel in desperate need of sleep but it only happens every so often. I hope this stage passes REAL soon here!

BASKETBALL @ UNLV

Pete took Jaiden to the Pro Basketball Summer games @ Unlv. Petes friend Dustin met up with them too. Jaiden said he had lots of fun. I told Pete to take lots of Pictures and of course he didnt, So Jaiden told him Mom said to take lots of pictures. I ended up with lots of random pictures that Jaiden took, mostly of himself.. haha.

Luxor Pool!!

My Grandparents came down in town and we borrowed a room key from them so we could go swimming @ the hotel. My mom and Aunt Melody went with me and the boys. It wasnt the most kid friendly pool Ive been to but we still ahd fun. I thought I was about to get into a fight though. yea.. That right. So my mom swims off with Jaiden and Im sitting on the steps holding kadence. Rylan was sliding back on forth on the steps not splashing or being load. Then I look over and this lady is facing Ry saying " You need to get the f*** away from me. WHAT??? she cant be talking to my baby. So I wait and she says it again. WOW!!! I WANNA FLIP. I call Ry and tell him to come over to me. I say to him loud so she can hear " DONT GO OVER THERE.. THAT LADY IS GRUMPY AND VERY MEAN." I really wanted to say somehting to her but Im pretty sure she was drunk Im im holding my 2 month old baby, what if she flipped. but we didnt get up and leave. Im not going to completely satisfy her. WOW!!! WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SOOOOO GAY!!! Really, he was being soo good. I could see it if she was relaxing and he was slashing her or somehting. Some people just should never have their own kids and that lady was one of them.

Greysons moving

My nephew Greyson is moving to California at the end of July. That means the boys will have NO cousins from Pete side of the family here. They are all in California. So in the next few weeks were trying to havethe boys spend lots of time together. Friday I had Grey come play for the day. We got McDonalds and then headed to the park. The boys had lots of fun and two police officers came two different times looking for a man, one even gave them stickers for their help, even though we hadnt seen him. I decided we better pack it up jsut in case. Then we headed to my moms and the kids all swam in the jacuzzi. After that of course my kids were going to go down for naps so we had quiet time watching a movie. Then It was time to bring him home. hopefully over the next few weeks well get some good pictures to send with grey to look at when he misses the boys!!

Popcorn anyone?

Jaiden LOVES popcorn. Well last week when I was busy around the house he decided he needed to make himslef some. I smell burning so I hurry to go see whats going on =/ ahhh!! Jaiden starts to head towards me with a look that says "Im scarred and im in trouble" I run toward the kithcen. The microve is open and smoke is coming out the top. Thankfully no fire but pretty dang close. See these pictures. I had to sit down and have a talk with Jaiden that even though hes big enough to get snacks from the kitchen he cant use any of the appliances. I think the scare was enough punishment but he did get a little more.

Swimming @ Green Valley Ranch

One of My friends is the manager @ the Spa @ Green Valley Ranch so she could get us into the pool. They have an area were sand slopped into the water and they even had buckets and shovels you could use. The kids kept themselves entertained so us girls had fun talking and getting some sun!! Now every time I tell them were going swimming they ask if its the beach one =). Hopefully well get to go a few more times this summer. It was a lot of fun!!

Tie Dye!!

My sister Wendy knows a lady with a day care and they were doing tie dye. They Invited Wendy and she asked if she cared if she brought a few sisters. We had fun tie dying and even more fun seeing the result. Ive always thought tie dye was old fashioned but on little kids its totally cute. We even got a picture later with all the kids wearing the shirts they made. It was LOTS of fun!!

Smiles!!

Kadence has been smiling LOTS lately and lots of coos and cahs =) Its been tons of fun. This is her first smile I could catch on camera!! Shes soo sweet and precious!!

Our 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July this year. I love this holiday. Swimming, Bbqs, family, fireworks, and of course the reason were celebrating.. our freedom. My kids are still little and this just go over their heads but I think its important to TRY and expaling why were having all this fun. I dont think they really understood but I think as I was explaining it made me stop and think how grateful I am to live in this country and how grateful I am to those who leave there loved ones to protect our freedom. I truly am grateful for a day we can remember just how special that is. We went to My sisters husbands mom and her new husbands house ( they were gone) and enjoyed their beautiful house and pool and ate yummy food. Then of course off to do fireworks. It was lots of fun and nice and relaxing. Heres some pictures of our night.....

Welcome to this world!!

My baby sister Celestial had her first little boy Saturday night!! They named him Matix Bret Tippetts. He was born June 20th 2009 (a little before midnight =/) He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 inches long. He looks a lot like his daddy. He was born with lots of light brown hair, his daddy has a fohawk so when the nurses brought him in they had already styled his hear up to match his daddy. He sweet as can be and there both doing great.

Lots of family fun time!!

Life has been busy and fun. Ive been pretty impressed with how well my kids have been while were out and about so Ive kept it going that way. We run all kinds of errands while daddys at work and weve been going to the park and pool lots. We never stay in side for even a day at a time. The weathers been great, not to hot yet! The boys have been seeing my side of the family cousins a few times a week lately. We go to the pool with them 1-2 x's a week and then friday nights when were starting to rotate for date nights. They've been loving it. And this past weekend pete side of the family cousins were down so they got to enjoy them all weekend. Also Pete and I had our 4 year wedding anniversary! Jaiden got his first blck eye (looks worse in real life) Rylan and him bumped heads and it first looked like a rock was under his skin buts its getting better. Kadence is now 7 weeks old and is still the perfect baby, Im hoping she stays this great. She hardly cries. Her daddy even held her over some water at the park and she just sinched up her little legs. Too precious. Life has been going pretty well around here.





(Soccer is now over for the summer and im glad to have our saturdays back for now. =)

Hearing... What a Blessing!!

I have ALOT to be thankful for this WONDERFUL day. When Kadence was in the hospital she failed the hearing test. I wasnt worried because Rylan failed his like 10 times in a row in front of me and he can hear (Just fluid still in the ear canals) but then they tested her again at the Pediatrician. She failed again, in both ears. They told me I needed to she an audiologist. At this point I was really worried for my little girl. Hearing Impairment runs in my family and I thought for sure she was just another member to have this problem. I left the office and called my husband crying. I cried numerous times in the next week. I was very upset and NOT excepting of this. Pete was great about it. He pretty much felt like even if she was completely deaf " Oh well" we'll all learn sign language is how he felt about it (Of course he didnt want that for her but he accepted it right off) Im glad one of us did. I set an appointment with the Audiologist but they couldnt see me for 5 weeks. WHAT! so for 5 weeks I have been wondering If my child can hear, or to what extent she cant hear, or that maybe nothings wrong at all. Well Over the past few weeks she has responded to VERY LOUD noises but that was just about it. So I knew she could hear something. Anyways over the past five weeks I have prayed daily for my daughter> Everytime I felt like I wanted to pray that she would be fine and that she would hear fine I felt like I should stop and pray that her and I will be able to ACCEPT a hearing disabilty. So that being said I thought for sure she had some hearing loss. and over the past 5 weeks I have felt ALOT more accepting of the idea. No I didnt want that for her but I could accept it. I would way rather a child have a disability like that than some major health problems. So today was her appointment. I felt ok this morning as I have been, but driving there I was so unbelievably nervous. So I get there and Im grabbing all the pamplets there to read, thinking Ill be needing them and then they call me back. Kadence pretty much slept through it all. The whole time the doctor kept saying looks good. She responded to that (The ear drum sends a vibration back to the machine if it heard it). I almost cried right then and there but was able to hold back. Walking out to the car tears started rolling down!! MY BABY CAN HEAR!! I cant even begin to tell you how relieved I feel. My heart felt like it would explode out of my chest I was so excited.

I just kept thinking in my head how soo many things in life we take for granted. I sat in my family room on day listening to my washer and dish washer and thought>> Wow, to not be able to hear that, let alone the beautiful sounds in life. I just feel so thankful for my heathly family. I know heavenly father gave me that scare so I would appreciate more the things I DO have in my life that are wonderful. Ya, our life isnt together the way we want it to be but we healthy and were happy together and we have 3 beautiful babies!! And now I know my baby can hear me when Im talking to her. Today was a wonderful day!!

Long time no Blog!!

Ive been really slacking on my blog since Kadence Arrived.. More importnant things in life I guess. But i do Love that i can read back through it and remember things way better. So It really is important to me. So I put a few blogs up. Check them out below.

One mOnth Tommorrow!!

I cant believe a whole month has passed by since our sweet girl has joined our lives. I feel soo blessed to have this amazing daughter. She is soo precious and sweet. Shes SOO easy going and hardly cries or fusses. Shes still sleeping lots through out the day and in a wholes months time the longest shes ever been a wake was 3 1/2 hrs straight. Usually its about 1 hr max. She wakes up 2 x's in the night ( 3 hrs span) At two weeks she had already gone camping and got her toe nails painted pink ( that right were mixing up the real girly with the outdoor girly.. Keep her well balanced =) ) Her poor eye has a blocked tear duct ( Jaiden and I had this when we were born) She just looks sometimes like shes starting to get pink eye.. Just the gunkies not the pink. I LOVE getting her all dolled up.

Petes 1st place Soccer!!

Pete started a playing indoor soccer with some friends the past few months. Its been alot of fun to go and watch every Thursday nights >>> even the 10pm games! Its alot faster pace than my little boys and lots of fun to watch. Even the crazy awesome girls bounce these balls off their heads (hence why I dont play,, Im not that tough =) haha). Tonight was the final game and they took FIRST PLACE!! YAY!! He signed up to play next season too.

Camping!!

2 weeks ago was memorial weekend so Me and the kids went camping from Sunday to MOanday ( Pete had to work monday so he couldnt come) with some of my family and my little Sister Celestials in Laws. We went to the same spot they had fathers nad sons. It was alot cooler than I thought it would be. I wouldnt have dared take my 2 week old camping except that my parents brought along their trailer so we had a/c and beds to sleep on. It was lots of fun!! I have always been a camping girl>> more so than my husband likes to camp but its growing on him. THe boys had lots of fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Shooting the potato guns and bow and arrows and riding the 4 wheelers. I cant wait to take them camping again.

Past 2 weeks with 3 kids.

Ok.. so Ive now realized that once your on your 3rd baby life hardly slows down even in the first week. We have been go go go and having tons of fun with our darling baby girl. I took all 3 kids to Kadences first check up. It went remarkably well. The boys were actually very well behaved. We havent missed even one of the boys soccer games. Thats right, Newborn and all we were out there cheering them on. Jaiden has been doing awesome. Hes still amazing as always as offense but hes been playing goalie this season and really likes it ( or so he says, I think he still needs a longer attention span, he let a few goals in this past saturday as he distracted by the time the ball comes., Oh well). Rylan on the other hand is not much into it this season. His games are all about noon (naptime and 90 degree weather, dont mix). As far as finally staying at home with my kids.. IM LOVING IT. We been very progressive and weve had lots of fun. Weve been going to the park lots, playing outside on their slip n slide and weve even gone swimming at a friends house. Our little one is the best little baby and has gone along for all of it. Shes just such a good, content baby. I feel so blessed. Shes a great sleeper to and only wakes up once during the night. A few nights ago she even slept all the way through. Pete gave me a night off friday night and woke up with Kadence in the night. Him and I have even manage to fit in a date night ( Yes, I already left my baby.. only for a movie down the street and Pete pretty much forced me =) haha. I wasnt too thrilled but I managed.) All in all Im handeling the 3 kids thing pretty good and more improtantly loving it (except when im nursing her and the boys are being buggers and I cant do much about it). Jaiden is the best big brother I can imagine. He loves Kadence soo much and constatly wants to hold her and love her. The other morning we woke up to him laying on a pillow on the ground next to her swing in our room were she was sleeping, just waiting for her to wake up =) Rylan loves her too but is mostly ok with being able to give her a kiss every now and again. Shes still sleeping pretty much all day long but when this girl is awake she is one squirmy little squirt. Even the doctor said something about it. She hardly ever cries, Ive only heard her cry a handful of times, mostly shell start to swirm when its time to eat. But when she doesnt cry I think its the cutest little sound. We love her so much and are soo ahppy shes here and ours!!

Kadence Aubri

Kadence Aubri was born 5/5/09 @ 10:32pm 6lbs. 8 oz. 18 1/2 inches long!








I put a post below with how it all happened but It was not like we planned.. The hospital was full so I wasnt induced by them but did it on our own and I did it without the ephidural.. NO not by choose. Its pretty long but its has MOST the details.

Induce/Labor/Delivery

Ok.. Soo, im going to go into some short details so feel free to skip this post or if you wanna know a little more details about my delivery, its here..

So the night before being induced I barely slept of course. Too anxious to rest. I woke up at 2:30am and showered and got everything completely together. Pete & I took the boys over to my parents house at about 4:15 and headed for the hospital. When we got there they told me all the beds were full and that I could either wait there or go home but I might as well go home cause it would likely be atleast 4 hrs. So we did. When we got home I was able to take a 1 1/2 nap. So then we get a call from my doctor and there are 4 woman waiting for rooms and it looks like it wont be happening today. He said we will reschedule for thursday evening and IF it freed up he would of course call me (I thought possibly a week before Id be holding my baby but her lungs werent ready and now I had to wait longer =( ) I got off the phone and just bawled. I was sooo upset. I thought I was for sure going to be holding my baby that day.. and even though it would only be 2 more days.. whos to say they wouldnt be busy then. So I had to text everyone ( i was in no shape to talk) that was planning on being at the hospital that it wasnt going to happen. My friend Amber wrote back.. have to thought about castor oil? I thought, no way.. what if I go into labor and they dont have a room for me (But a this point I really could of cared less if I had t oshare a room with someone. I didnt want to try castor oil but was totally down for the idea of trying to send myself into labor. So Pete, Amber, Tara , and Ashley and Me all went to Buffalo Wild Wings to get some HOT wings. Then the plan was to go walking, but I changed my mind and decided to go straight for the castor oil since that was more likely to actually work (we had called up a few people we knew It worked for and got all the details) After we got the castor oil we went to Ashleys house so I could be by the bathroom ( Castor Oil is kinda like vegetable oil and its really a laxative, its works to empty the bowels and also trys emptying the uterous. I drank 4oz. in a large glass of orange juice. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be (id do it again) about 3 hrs. passed. During that time I got anxious so we went for a walk, tryed a little excersicing video =) haha. My sisters baby shower was that night so we left to releive her from my kids. I started having contractions as we were leaving. When we got home I started getting a some diarhea and more contractions. I took a bath because I was getting uncomfortable and then decided it was time to go to hte hopsital ( Yay!! Its actually working!!) So we walked my boys over to my moms. When I was at the door my sister and her pregnant friend were there and I started to cry in pain and figured I better leave quick before worrying them too much. So Pete and I are driving to the hospital, its about 6:30 and traffice (WONDERFUL) I was not feeling good. Finally we get there and we had to wait in the waiting room for about 20 min (I went to the bathroom 2xz while waiting (PLEASE dont let me have diahrea while im pushing htis baby out) So we get back in the make sure im in real labor and I am and dialated to a 3. My dr. has now been at the hospital on call for 12 hrs and is ready to go home, he admitts me but doesnt really wanna come back that night so tells them to let it all happen natural ( Dont break my water or give me pitocin to speed up, thanks doc is what im thinking) So we get into the room and my contractions start slowing down. Im feeling something but its not even showing on the chart (WHAT.. I could beleive it, she said maybe they were like braxton hicks but they werent contractions.. I was pissed cause I was hurting) She said it would likely be the next morning when I deliverd (The boys were almost 4 hrs flat, but induced by pitocin) so im thinking maybe I dont deliver quite as fast on my own (This is all about 8:45pm. So nurse comes to check me and I feel Kadence kick REAL HARD and then I feel fluid leaking out. I told her I think it just broke, she was under the impression it had already broke.. I told her not that I knew. So she checked and it broke. I was dialated to a 5. Within about 10 min I started having HARD CORE contractions one on top to the next. She checked me again and I was at a 7!! At that moment I thought.. im not going to be able to get the ephidural! THIS IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE!! I ask her " Can I get the ephidural" she calls for it. Within minutes im dying and she knows somehtings happening she checks again and says im at at 8 pushing 9 and I dont have time for the ephidural!! She literally just barley covers me back up and Im screaming that the baby head feels like its about to come out of me.. she flips the blanket back off and im at a 10. At this point I definatley have a whole new 10 in mind on a scale of 1-10. I am screaming and crying and grunting. Finally the pain eases up a little and its just horrible pressure. there telling me not to push that were waiting for my doctor but my body was pushing on its own. Ok.. so the next 10 min it just horrible and Im making all kinds or noises but the nurse was so awesome and kept praising me aand telling me I wasnt getting a break at all inbetween, they were non stop pain. I remember I kept asking if we could just do it with out my doctor and that I really didnt care if he was there =) At this point I just wanted her out. Finally he got the and they tried to get me to scoot down and bend my knees. I barely was able to scoot down and I could barely force myslef to bend my knees. Pete had never watched my boys come out and preffers being by my head but I guess I was kicking to nurse so she asked him to help hold my legs. I was prayer alot in my head and I know thats why I pushed ONLY 1 X and my beautiful baby girl was out!!It was the most intense pain ever and I cant not understand why anyone would CHOOSE to do this. I looked down and the first thing I thought was wow.. shes tiny, SHE FELT enormous!! She was gorgeous even right after she popped out!! I oculd stop looking at her but of course i tore so I had the undergo some more pain while he stiched me back up. That was painful but nothing compared to before. The nurse asked her name and I said Kadence and then though (wait this all happend so fast i didnt ask Pete the middle name he chose) So I looked over and asked him " Aubri " I LOVE it!!! So Kadence Aubri Almanza was born 5/5/09 10:32pm (10 hrs after castor oil) and 7 hrs after some contractions but 41/2 after they were close enough to count). Weighing 6lbs. 8 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. My smallest baby thankfully was the one I did without the ephidural!! So all in all she has been my hardest pregnancy and delivery but I would od it all again in a heart beat. Plus she is SUCH a good baby. The boys have taken uunbelievably well to her. Jaiden would hold her 24/7 if we let her and Rylan is soo sweet to her. She is totally putting up great with them to and there constant kisses and touching her. We love her more than words could say and cant believe she ours!!

May 5th!!

I went to my very last Doctor appt. today!! My Obgyn talked to the Perinatologist, who did the Amnio, he told him it showed about 5 days till her lungs should be mature. So were gunna go with 8 to be on the safe side. So Tuesday May 5th I will for sure be induced .. If I dont go into labor on my own. He said my cervix is paper thin and Im still dialated to a 2. BUT .. I dont want to go sooner, just because of her lungs. Soo we will have 3 birthdays within my small family within 5 days! Pete B-day is May 4th, hers will be May 5th (Which is also a good friends B-day) and Rylans is May 9th!! Oh ya>> My dads/Petes Moms is May 13th, which sometimes lands on Mothers Day. So lots of Birthdays within a short time period but we'll take it!! I just dont want her to come a day early on Petes B-Day!! Soo for real this time we have less than a week till Ill be holding my Baby Girl!

Not Mature!!

I got my Amnio this morning and It really wasnt even close to as bad as I had expected. My doctor came in just for me because he was off today.. but im glad because he did it great. I didnt want to see the needle so I tried looking the other way BUT of course the ultrasound screen is there. So I found somewere to look I couldnt see either. Once the needle broke the skin.. I thought, not bad, I can watch this.. So I watched on the screen the needle going thorugh my skin and into the water spot. I watched as the water area kinda srunk. It was weird. Mostly just felt like a shot in the tummy. Soo Ive waited most of the day anxiously waiting for the results. And of course... Its NOT what I wanted to hear. Her lungs are not yet mature.. So, the induction is OFF =( I feel like I could cry. i just got my hopes up so much I guess. Ill survive though, she will eventually be here. My OBGYN in moving my inducution back to next tuesday tentatively. Ill hear from my other doctor about the detail of the results tommorrow morning.. Like how NOT mature they are.. Or if just barely or what not. Soo Tommorrow will just be a regular day in our lives.. But suckier cause I wont be in labor =/

Brittneys Farewell!

Today a good friend of mine from when were little had her mission farewell in her Singles ward. Me and my sister Celestial went to listen to her speak. Me & Brittney were really good friends when we were little and she moved up to St. George toward the begining of High School. Even though thats not far we really didnt hang out but over the past 4 or 5 years weve kept in touch and gotten together every once in a while. She's one of those friends that even though we dont talk much, when we do I feel so close to her still. Im sooo EXCITED for her and know she'll do great. Her talk was AMAZING and I felt so much Love towards her and was wondering why no guy has swept her off her feet yet =) One day!! She leaves for Hondurus (Spanish Speaking, and very poor conditions) in about 3 weeks, May 12th.

Boys/Pregnant Girls NIght Out!

Soo Jaidens has been noticabely wanting Daddies attention so Pete and I decided they needed a boys night out. Pete and Jai went to a Movie were Jaiden was spoiled with Hot dogs, soda, and Popcorn. After they went to the arcade and got Pizza. Jaiden was real excited when he got home. Rylan was a little bummed when they were going to leave but me & Him got Mcflurries from McDonalds and he was satisfied. Then Saturday I had a PREGNANT girls night out. We had one more girl to go but family was in town so she couldnt make it. Sooo we tried to figure what a bunch of pregnant girls could doo .(( Something fun, no movies, we ruled out bowling, laser tag, and some other stuff) We ended up going to eat at Red Robin and then going to King Putt for some indoor glow neon mini golf. It was a BLAST!! And pretty funny watching all these big belly women bending down as we put down/pick up our balls. THen after Golden Spoon was having a free ice cream night, so we hit up that too. It was a ton a fun!!

Induction?!?!

At my last Appt. My doctor told me he would induce me early but he wants me to get an Amniocentesis done to make sure her lungs are mature before doing so. I was pretty hesitate at the whole thought of it ans were leaning against it for a few days.. but today I up and changed my mind. Im doing it. So MOnday morning Ill have it done and by later monday well have the results. If there mature then Ill be induced the next day @ 5am. Im feeling so excited and anxious. I just hope there mature and we dont do it for nothing. So hopefully well have a baby here within a week!!

Easter/Soccer!!

Im a little behind.. Easter was a beautiful day, we slept in, woke up and have some cinnabon cinnamon rolls that we bought the night before and were off to church. Then it was off to Petes parents to relax and have some dinner.

Here I am this past weekend @ 36 weeks (Gained total of 40 lbs. so far =( . Getting huge.. everywere I go I get comments and most people think im due any day!!

Everythings been going good with the pregnancy, last check I had for her size she was measuring right on and was 5lbs. 7 oz. that was about 351/2 wks. Dr. Appt. yeasterday he said Im close to 2 dialted but not much change.


This weekend was a busy one. Ill just write about soccer. We had the boys first soccer games and they werent too far apart.. just enough time to run and grab food and come back.. but most of the games will be about 3 hr gap inbetween =( The weather was great. Jaidens game was first ( his team has 18 kids.. almost twice of what were use to, he played goalee most of the game. Im not sure its his thing. I think he really likes the feeling of making a goal and he didnt do so great. He got real board waiting back until someone brought the ball toward him ( he was paying attention to his shadow or swinging his arms around, then when they would come toward shim sometimes hed miss or we would have to yell his name to get his head in the game again. Next game they will switch and someone else will be goalee. Rylans game was at 11:15 and of course I got sunburnt but noone else in my tan family did!! Rylan did AWESOME. He is such entertainment out there. He gets soo motivated and gets right it to the ball. Ill have to video him next week. No goals this weekend but took the ball down lots and even when his team mate was going the wrong way and we were yelling turn around and that kids didn't Rylan didnt hestitate to get in and turn it around himself. Hes really good for how small he is!! I am very excited for this season. As for Daddy.. the first week my parents watched the boys and I got to watch Pete play. Its alot different than the little kids. More intense and its amazing how they so willing bump the ball off their chest or heads (there a reason im on the sidelines.. im not down for that). Then last week Pete wanted the boys to come and watch him.. although he didnt do much of that. And just as I thought.. I like watching my husband paly soccer just as much as basketball.

I want to post what kind of girl trouble im already antisipating from my 2 yr. old in the future.

I have 1 that hilarious and 1 that just happened yesterday @ church. Theres lots more like it too.

Last soccer season Rylan had the ball and was taking it down the field.. he was really pretty close to getting a goal when 2 (about 5 yrs. old) cute little girls walked by the field toward the park. Rylan STOPS DEAD IN HIS TRACK (looses the ball of course) and his little head follows theses girls as they walk by... Ya know.. the way thats sooo obvious he was chekcing them out. IT was HILARIOUS and half the parents were cracking up.

then yesterday at church:

Toward the end of sacrament meeting we ended up sitting in the back by Amber and Jordan. Sitting with them was there niece Chloe Lichty. Im next to Chloe and Rylans on the other side of me
Rylan: Whats he name (Holding up two fingers)
Me: Chloe
Rylan: No whats her name (Still holding up his 2 fingers and pointing to them) ** Realizinf hes asking how old
Me: Oh, how old is she?
Rylan: Yea
Me: I think shes 4 (She might be 5)
Rylan: (Very Exstatic) OH!! LIKE ME!
Me:No, shes older than you.
Rylan:I wanna say hi
Me: Ok

He then hops off his seat, stands were she can see him and says HI!! Waving his hand and smiling a little flirty smile.
He eventually sits back down.
Soon she hops up to walk over the her mom
Rylan: WERES SHE GOING? (In a worried voice)

Then just a second later she walks back and Rylan has this big ole smile on his face as he stares at her

Amber caught all this and said to me " Your in trouble"

Of course he would go for the older girls ( oh yea.. amber asked chloe if she thought Rylan was cute and she said "He has a MOHAWK" HAHA.. TOO CUTE.. I guess his mohawk is a turn off for her)

Right when we get home from Church Jaiden decides he wants to pee his pants just as were getting the changed out of the church clothes (i know, I know hes 4.. and NO, this is NOT normal.. he hasnt peed his pants in who know how long) So I told him to take off his wet clothes and go wipe down his no peed on legs.

He comes back butt naked (He is Very Compfortable naked, I dont know why) and point to his pee pee.
Jaiden: MOM!! Hes in BIG trouble
Me: Why?
Jaiden: Cause he PEED all in my pants
Me: Well dont you control you Pee Pee?
Jaiden: NO!! My Pee Pee CONTROLS ME!!

HAHA!! I had to tell Pete this one>.. I told him hes raising a typical guy (Enough Said =) )

Ready for the Beach!!

**Our boys have been asking about going to California were their cousins live. We told them we cant go till after the baby is here. We told them we will go to the beach too.

Yesterday Rylan found his lifejacket from last year. He took off his shirt, put on his lifejacket, swim trunks, flip flops and even sunglasses.

Easter Party!!

Yesterday we had a Easter Party at Grandmas house with the cousins, and some!! (Some of the cousins brought their other cousins and then my mom brought over a few kids from the ward) I think we had about 20 kids. We played a few games, ate lunch, and did an egg hunt. My neice Jade turns 2 tommorrow so we celebrated her birthday and had cupcakes too. It was alot more hectic than I imagined.. even with 9 adults. Once they were done with the egg hunt everyone went home. It was a fun, short, crazy party!!

Boring Blog!!

I feel like I have nothing to blog about lately. Ive been stuck mostly at home and dont get out much (I cant wait for changes). But I guess the boys in my life have gone on having fun wihtout me =) and I should post a little about that. Petes been staying busy, he plays Basketball 2 days a week with friends and started soccer one night a week also this past week. Ill put pictures up this coming week im sure. My boys are loving their soccer practices as well and this week I fianlly get to go watch!! My Sister Celestial who has been watching my kids during the day has been doing lots of fun things with my boys and with the nice weather. They've been lucky to have her, cause Im not much fun lately!! Heres so pictures of the boys this past week.

I came home from work to find my son with a bandaged eye. Leshal said he insisted on having it.. And then I believed her when he wouldn't let me take it off for a FULL 2 days. I dont know how it didnt make him crazy.

Pregnancy!!

29 weeks


33 weeks

Everything is continuing to go steady and well. My heart was pounding pretty hard about every other day. I mentioned it to my doctor and he took me off the procardia (Stuff helping sotp contractions) That night I had quite a bit of contractions but they werent close enough to be to concerned and they eventually went away. Today I saw my OBGYN. Not much has changed with my cervix.. so Hes really not too concerned with me being on bedrest anymore! HURRAY!! Ill still be taking it easy, just not too easy! Heres two pictures to updaye how Im looking lateley. Im 34 weeks and 2 days but the last picture I took was 33 weeks. Im feeling pretty uncomfortable. This morning Pete woke up and said how great he slept.. I told him how I slept " LIKE CRAP" I swear I woke up like 10 x's from a dream of me in labor only to find myself in my own dang bed =( Not cool. Im just soo anxious for her to be hear. Even though I technically have about 51/2 weeks left, I feel like the end is HERE. I mean since 24 weeks I thought she would be very early (So im thankful thats not the case, but its not helping with the waiting).

More Pregnancy!!

So Monday I went to my OBGYN. He did the Beta Strep test already just in case I deliver early and he also checked my cervix. He said im about 75% effaced and he a finger slipped in my cervix so i was atleast 1 cent. dialated, possibly more but he didnt want to probe around to see because all that stuff can just make it all happen faster. So Ill see him back in 2 weeks since im going to the perinatologist every week. So today I went to the perinatologist.. I was anxious to see if the 75% effaced is were ive been (since I have an abnormally short cervix) or if change was starting to happen. Im kinda confused by it all, he looks at if from the inside were OBGYN looks at it from the outside, they cant tell if im even dialated by ultrasound untill my cervix is gone. So by my understanding the perinatlogist is measuring whats there, and the OBGYN when they say your effacing is measuring whats NOT there. Its confusing. Either way.. once agian im pretty steady.. a little shorting and little more funneling but not much. Kadence hair was hanging down into the funnel which was fun to see and her eyes were open for a few seconds! They did montioring and NO contractions during it. So I think I just might make it to my goal of atleast 2 more weeks, the doctor set his goal. After that maybe ill set anohter goal for a week or two. They also did another fetal fibronectin test (ill get results later today) so if its negative big chance I wont deliver in next two weeks, if its positive it doesnt nessecarily mean that I will though.


* On a differnent note , I LOVE all this baby stuff. As much as Pete could watch basketball all day long, I could watch baby deliverys on TV ALL DAY long. I wish TLC and Discovery Health played that and only that constantly. Im completely amazing by it all. One day I WILL go back to school to either be a RN and be in delivering babies with doctors, or be an Ultrasound Technician. I LOVE all of that kind of stuff. Im pretty sure my kids already understand were a babies comes out because all the shows I watch =/ Im not really one to hide the truth and dont think It doesnt much harm to them to KNOW as long as they dont SEE how it happens. Jaiden HAS already asked how the baby gets out and I told him through the privates. =) Some of you probably thinks thats crazy but I dont. I figure why beat around the bush. He just said ok and dropped it.

Soccer! Soccer! and More Soccer!!

Ok.. so Ive never have been a huge fan or soccer. But when its my boys playing, its a different story. So we put the boys in soccer Spring and Fall and skip out on winter and summer (the weathers just to extreme for that) So soccer season was approching and Pete and I talked about what the plan was since now our boys will be on different teams because of the differnet ages they are now. (Which means 2 different practice days and two different times on Saturdays for games). Plus add a brand new baby into the mix>> I wasnt loving the idea. BUT, Pete won on this one.. we couldnt choose which boy got to play this season and who sat out.. and for Pete it wasnt an option to have noone play (Plus, we really do enjoy the quality family time it brings). Pete told me he would be incharge of soccer and that it would help me out once the babies here Id have those nights to myself with her.. and I appreciate that, BUT .. I would feel horrible, I mean its been a FAMILY thing all along and then I feel they would resent the baby because now that shes here its not.. So once Im off bedrest and shes here well all be going to it all!! To top off the busy soccer schedule Pete is doing a co-ed adult soccer league with some friends Thursdays. Ive never seen him play soccer, so well see how good he is. But since the stake basketball tournament is over this will be fun for him. And im sure the boys will totally love watching their daddy do what they love to do.

So by the end of this soccer season im sure Ill be ready for the summer break but Heres to anohter fun filled, busy soccer season!! Youll be seeing lots of pictures once I get them!!

Changes!!

Over the past little bit and in the next little bit were having lots of changes happen.

For starters Pete switched Jobs. He was at Cal Air and has now been at T Brothers Tile for 2 weeks now. So far hes liking it and he needed a change of pace. Were both real excited for him.

For about the past 5 months My sister Crystal was at our house watching our boys. The plan was for her to continue watching the kids once the baby was here, but plans change and she was ready for a change of pace to (Keep in mind, crystla is the sister who watched Jaiden when I went back to work when Jai was 6 months and up unitll we put the boys in daycare when Rylan was 9 months, so Thanks Crystal for all the help).I would just stay home now but since Im suppose to be relaxing and our medical bills already our pretty outrageous already (Im working to pay for babysitting and bills).. Celestial has stepped in and is watching the boys until I deliver this baby. Then the plan is for me to stay home with the kids!! I couldnt be happier !! (Ill work a little at night and on Saturdays for some extra income for the time being)

So those are 3 pretty big changes if you ask me .. new job, stay at home mom, and new baby!! But were excited for it all and hope everything works out great!!

Steady Cervix!!

Some of you may be getting bored so feel free to skip this post.. I just want to be able to read back at how things went this pregnancy just because, or IF we decide on more kids, I will have this problem in future pregnancy!!


Soo. I had my check up on my cervix today, and will continue having htem weekly until I deliver. Tommorrow I hit the 32 week mark!! (I remember at 24 wks praying Id make atleast 28 weeks.. look how far weve made it) My cervix is STILL at a 1.5 which is same as last week and a few weeks prior always.. Which is great. Although I still have the same amount of funneling, but its all steady. I am still taking my progestrone suppositories nightly and am on the procardia (uterine relaxer, to stop contractions) every 6 hrs. Ill continue the progestron till 35 weeks but the procardia till 36 weeks. BUT .. heres the good news, After 35 weeks Im OFF of BEDREST!!! Because since shes had the steroids, if I deliver they technically consider that term. He said at 35 weeks with steroids theres a 90-95% chance she'll come right on home with me and not even need the nicu...SO thats 3 more weeks people. I cant wait. Im soo thankful Ive made it this far because even if she were born now, shed be ok. He said I COULD go term.. but he doubts it. So before to long my Kadence will be here!! Till next week ... =)

Welcome Alyssa Taylor Sanders

My brother Gary and his wife Lindseys little sweet daughter arrived last Thursday March 12th!! Since im not allowed to be moving all around they were awesome enough to bring her to us Sunday!! She was precious as can be! I know the boys loved her and were soo excited holding her. They were actually really good taking turns and being nice. They did try tuching her face lots though, Who can resist when there soo tiny =). Seeing the boys with her got me excited for our little one but also a little more nervous>>> This will be a WHOLE new experience with two rambuxious little boys to keep an eye on with her around as the last time I had a newborn Jaiden was 17 months (they were close but Jaiden didnt bother Rylan too much).

Pregnancy/Cervix/Steroids

Ok.. lets back track a little, 2 weeks ago at my appt they found that my cervix had gone from a 2.5 to a 1.5.. (2.5 is when they put me on bedrest because normal is 3-5) also they found they I am funneling (Imagine a funel and thats what I look like) dialating you open from the bottom, funneling you open from the top. Soo they told me I needed to be taking it even easy than I had been. I was told on my back for 23/24 hrs a day. So I had an appt set for this morning for follow up BUT two days ago I was having quite a lot of cramping and sharp pains in my stomach ( but they were constant so I didnt think it was normal contractions were they start and stop.. but I still went in to get checked out) the doctor was out but theY put me on the monitor and I wasnt having contractions, also they did a vaginal swab thing that test fro a protein your body releases 2 weeks before you go into labor, that came back negative. I went back today to see Dr. My cervix and funneling is steady since 2 weeeks ago which is great news but still very short.. Baby is doing great.. shes 3lbs. 8oz now and we saw a little hair on her head =) (My favorite part of today). But dr. says I WILL deliver early its just a matter of how early.. So I got a steroid shot today and Lucky me gets to go back for another at the hospital tommorrow. It was probably the worst shot I ever had.. Burned and was in me for like a whole 2-3 minutes =( but Im glad I got it for the baby.. He said it helps produce a cell that babies usually get around 35 weeks (Im 31 tommorrow).. It helps with lung developement but also something in the brain, helps the intestines and if the babies born if helps with infections >. All kinds of good stuff!! Soo It looks as though I wont have her in next two weeks per that test but after that I guess well see how things continue to go.

Another Baby Project!

Ok, I know I JUST posted about baby projects, but heres one that my mom and I started about 2 months ago. We worked most of a Saturday and then put it away and finally finished this up last night. I had looked around online and found the idea that I wanted. I REALLY debated just buying this, but for that price I could just buy a whole new car seat.. so I spent a little less than $30.00 in material, ect. I had enough for the car seat, a matching blanket, and I have left overs that im going to make a boppy cover for my blue boppy.

Baby Blanket

Soo with all this bedrest Ive found one things atleast to keep me occupied!! I decided to crochet my little girl a blanket. Ive crocheted lines of things in the past and then get frustrated when the ends dont match up and then gave up. So of course this happened again but I would just take it out and fix it. So this blanket took LOTS of time but im am soo glad I finished it and that I made it for MY daughter. Its soo great to see the finished product of a project. Pete asked me last night "What are you going to do when the blankets done". He knows I HATE sitting and doing nothing. I already have the next one in mind. =)

Rylans EKG/Echocardiogram

Yesterday was Rylans Doctor Appointment with the Cardiologist. About a month ago the doctor heard a heart murmur and just wanted to check it out. He did SOOO well and loved the doctor, he even tried to hold the doctors hand (i think he was trying to do his own ultrasound really) but everything looks good. His murmur is INNOCENT. The doctor said they like to call it a "musical heart" >> they just make more noise then other kids. Once their diagnosed with innocent murmurs thats that.. it wont be a problem in the future but he'll always have it. So as you can imagine were THIRLLED that our baby is just fine.

Valentines Day!!

This Valentines I wanted to do something fun for the boys!! I made a trail of hearts from their bedroom into the family room were they had a basket full of goodies and a card. They LOVED that!!

Then for breakfast we had scones with pink frosting and some fruit. Then Pete was off to a job and I met up with his side of the family. We hung out there for a while then Pete met us there and we were off to bowl. The kids had lots of fun, Jaiden bowled for the neghbor guy on accident =/ oops!! Thankfully he didnt mind that it ruined his score.


Rylans ball got stuck half way down the lane once. Then it was back to the house for me to get ready for dinner. I made a candelit meal with some fun valentines glasses with heart shaped ice cubes. The boys helped me the day before make Petes favorite pie!!



The boys got COMPLETELY covered in flour (Jaiden even tried making a beard> of course it was straight to the bath after that, DOnt worry, the bodies aand feet only got in the flour after I was done with that part =) haha) Overall it was a great Valentines.

Pregnancy!!

Yesterday was not a great day. I woke up and my lower stomach/uterus was in pain. Not contractions but VERY uncomfortable. I was real worried! I took the day off work to just stay in bed completely. Crystal came by as usual and took care of my boys. My mom came in to help with the boys until she got there. And my dad gave me a wonderful fathers blessing! This morning was my doctor appointment and I was certian something had changed. It HASNT!! My cervix is still on the short side but steady from my last visit which is awesome! So ill continue to keep it real easy. As far as the babies heart that had two potential problem areas/holes>> They have now filled!YEA!! =) So todays doctors visit went extremely well, as well as it could of.

Some fun facts about our baby so far:
*She 2lbs. 2oz. now, right were she should be
*She is EXTREMLY active. Although her kicks dont fill that hard.
*She has been head down since about 12 weeks. And hoping shell stay that way
*Shes fiesty, if one of my boys bumps my tummy, she usually kicks 'em right back.. yep, shell fit into this family =)
*She kicks lots, but when daddy tries to feel, she stops

Funny Boy!!

Last night as the boys are kissing my belly good night, Rylans rubbing my tummy feel fast in a circle and says " Its ok Baby, your just round like a Ball" .. the things kids say are just too funny!

Our Time Spent on Bedrest!

Nohting too exciting has happened in our lives soo far since I stuck at home. I do go to work everyday still and have my legs propped up most of the day. Ive been able to get out of the house a little. Petes been playing in the basketball tournament for our stake and I LOVE going and watching him play. Its the only time I get to. I wasnt going to go but my mom insisted I get out of the house. She told me shed wheel me in a wheelchair and chace after my boys (I told her Id walk =) ) But I was glad to get out.

I got out for a doctor appt (Although not glad when I saw another doctor , mine was delivering, and she told me Im gaining to much weight and that throughout the rest I should only gain 5 more lbs. >> What, my baby will gain more then that. Plus, look thorugh my records lady, I GAIN during pregnancy and MY doctor never complains (60 with Jai, 40 with Ry) UGH!! But overall ok.

I give my boys haircuts about every two weeks and they were getting a little scruffy looking. I debated calling my sister to cut there hair but figured I could sit on the stool while doing it. Keep in mind Pete was off at basketball. I should of just waited =( So I doing Rylans and finish up and throw him in the bath then get to Jaiden. He must have snuck off with the trimmer and took it straight to the top of his head. I had no choice but to shave my baby BALD!! He looks like a little cancer patient. When I took him out of the bath I dry Ry hair and he asks why im not drying his. I laugh, knowing he doenst realize what I meant when I said I got to cut it all off. So I told him to go look in the mirror " Ahh, weres my hair at" is what he had to say about it. Although he thinks he looks cute/ Not so much!! And hes liking hte attention of everyone rubbing his little head.

Since I cant be moving around much, when Pete is gone. My kids resort to TV or XBOX most of the time becuase that keeps them from fighting and me from getting up and down over and over again. Heres Ry playing snowboarding!!

Also to help Pete out a little, The boys help me get food out to cook, With Petes help, and Jaiden is incharge of helping clear off the table after meals. Hes been such a great helper!!

Drive In Movies

I have always been a fan of the Drive In Theatre!! I have only been about 4 or 5 times total but I LOVE IT. Soo since Ive been taking it real easy Celestial & Brandon figured I'd be able to sit in the back of my car and atleast enjoy a night out. So last saturday thats what we did. Definately beats staying home all the time and well be doing this pretty often till this babies here im sure. We stopped and got dinner and candy and drinks on the way and camped out in the back of the Tahoe. The boys werent totally into the movie and kept jumping from our car to Leshal & Brandons car so we decided to put on Transfomers on the cars Tv with there headphones>> Totally great! Now I just wish they had one closer to us.

Name?!?!

Pete and I cant agree on a name for our Daughter!! Its definately between these two but Im just curios as to what others think!! ThANKS!!! Poll to the left!!

CerviX Update!!

So today I was pretty convinced that after my appointment I would be headed to the hospital for the cerlage. I have been having about 4 contractions a day and was certain htey have been doing damage =). Anyways when they checked it actually is LONGER (not much but still some) and the top is no longer funneled as much as it was a weeks ago!! YAY!! This is AWESOME news! So Pete asks if its from the medicine Ive been taking. He said NO. They dont work miracles. The contraction stuff just helps a little and the suppositories wont make your cervix longer, It to help it from shorting! Soo Ones again the power of prayer WORKS!! Thanks too everyone thinking of my family this past week. I know this is the reason. Soo for the next two weeks im to do what ive been doing, taking it real easy and keeping my feet up. I asked if he thought Id go to term and he said he cant say, Even with a normal pregnancy you cant predict that, but for now this was the good news I was hoping for. So I cerclage is not in the plan, and wont be as now itll be too late and looks as though well do fine without it!!

Cervix too Short!!

Yesterday started off bad. I was feeling very hormonal a cried in the office before I even went to my doctor.

Then Our insurance changed and my doctors office called to tell me since my yearly premium hadnt been met yet, insurance wanted then to collect $700 that day. I cancelled at first feeling upset and frustrated but hten figured I better just go cause Ill be paying that eventually anyways. So heres what we found out at that appointment. >> Glad I decided to go!!


23 1/2 Weeks Pregnant
Baby is measuring to size and is 1 lb. 7 oz. She had to hiccups while they were checking her out (I never felt my boys hiccups) so that was fun to feel slightly as I watched. They did notice in her heart between the left and right venticle the there MAY be a small void of tissue. They told me not to worry to much (Yea.. thats gunna happen) and that they believe since shes still so teeny that it will fill. If not they think after birth it will fill and may need no further attention (Surgery) of course they are going to see me back in 4 weeks to check it and then from there MAY see a prenatal cardiologist, were they may do a EKG while still in the womb.

Update on my cervix:
My cervix has been borderline for a few months now so they hoped it would stay that way. Well I have had random contractions hear and there (I thinking maybe there just braxton hicks) any ways. Those contractions obviously werent good news for my already short cervix. So now its shorter than needed. So I have a few options
1. Have the cerclage (Stitch) as a outpatient procedure. This helps hold the extra weight of the baby and helps the cervix from effacing or dialating. Downfalls, they like to do between 13-16 weeks. NO LATER than 24 weeks. This being because the uterous and all that is larger and closer to the cervix which may cause in ruptured membranes. And also having the procedure at all can induce labor. And im on Bedrest till I deliver.
2. Im on bedrest, They give me a perscription to help relax my uterus and help stop contraction. And then a perscription that helps to keep the cervix from shoerting any more than it is. From there I come back in 1 week and if Im the same length, this continues until birth. If it has shorted I get the stitch either way.

Heres a picture of the crclage so you can better understand. My cervix isnt dialating the way the picture shows but at the top it is starting to crack open which is not good. Plus too short. Her head was directly on the cervix to, too low than she should be.

So both my choices stink if you ask me but I chose #2. I dont want the possiblity of going into labor from the stitch If I can help it. Soo I'll update in a week what the vedict is. For now, or I guess untill my Daughters here, Im on bedrest. > Im told to get up to pee or shower, then back to resting. Hes alowing me to continue working only because its pretty much at my house and it will be more resting if im in the office versus with my wild crazy boys =) Other than that.. Ill be on my butt and at home.

Soo yesterday kinda topped up there in my worst days.

Bowling!!!

Ive been wanting to take my little men bowling for a while now, but I just hasnt happened. So we finally did it, and I think Jaiden has a new favorite thing =) They've had little plastic bowling sets, but really, that doesnt even come close. They were soo fun to watch. Jaiden kept asking me why he was winning? and Rylan would hold the pose from letting go the ball right up until it knocked down the pins (which took forever), then would turn around yelling either WOO HOO or I DID IT. I did pretty good the first round, for me atleast and even beat Pete, but the 2nd round went down hill. Sheree, Adam, Crystal, and Celestial were there too. Jaiden is upset this morning were not out bowling already. So I think we have a new family activity.

Deon J Sanders

My Grandfather, My Dads Dads, passed away this past Saturday 1/10/09 at the age of 82. He was a great example to my family. He had a VERY strong testimony of the church and served in many ways. He served 3 missions in his lifetime. One as a young man, one for 6 months after being married a short time, and then he and my grandmother served together for 12 1/2 yrs at the Family HIstory Center as the Director. He was bishop twice. They did much temple work. Before he passed a way my dad gave him a blessing while in the hospital, my grandmother requested that my dad be the voice in giving a priesthood blessing a few hours before Deon's passing.
Cal was overwhelmed with the Spirit and feelings of the Great Love Many have for him on both sides of the Veil, and that Deon had endured to the end, and should now go to the Many, Many who awaited to greet him and express their love and appreciation for the work he and Marie had done for them in Geneology and Temple Work. Not only for the work of their own ancestors, but many of the ancestors of those in the Valley who came for assistance in seeking out their dead, during the 12 1/2 years they served at the Family History Center as Director, along with the many years they also served at the Temple.


** During the funeral, I felt a since a sadness for the loss of him, but also I felt the spirit there so strongly and felt a great feeling of pride in my grandfather and the amazing man he was. I know my dad has been able to be such a great example to my family because he had a father who was soo strong.
** One memory that really stands out in my mind about him was the many, many times I heard him bear his testimony at family gatherings. He seemed to bear it any chance he got, and I am so grateful for that, and the memories of the feelings I had as he bore it.

Rylan Fever/Heart Murmur

Crystal was sick last week and Rylan was sick this week (Not the same thing though) So Tuesday I spent home with the boys again. Rylan spike a fever of OVER 103 about 405 times in 24 hrs. So I took him to the doctor. They found nothing besides a fever. Said he probably had a virus that should just pass (I get frustrated when I go to the doctor and end up getting no help, not that they could, but I just hope for some medicine or somehting to help with things, Oh well, I guess its better to hear nothings wrong than wonder). ANyways while we were there she said Rylan has a heart murmur. ( Ugh, not something any mom wants to hear) So I ask her more and she said it may be just because of the fever. I cry half the way home, get Pete all upset. I decide I need to know more, so do a little research online. http://kidshealth.org/kid/health_problems/heart/heart_murmurs.html
I guess its pretty common for kids to get heart murmurs (especially during fevers). So I cant say that im releived and not worried, because I am for now. Atleast until a cardiologist tells me otherwise (They should be calling anyday for an appt, reffered by Pediatric). But I do feel a little better about it all. Please keep him in your prayers.

Break/Park

The end of last week Crystal was sick, therefore I got a great excuse to take the day off and spend with my boys (Thursday & Friday). I had to take advantage and do something out of the ordinary. So since the weather was Fabulous Thursday we headed off to the park. I planned on staying a while so I packed lunch, a blanket, and a baseball and bat. I had lots of fun with the boys. (It seems it has been forever since we went to the park since every weekend has been cold or weve been busy, and once were off work its getting dark). Heres some pictures of our well enjoyed day!!

Rylans Ultrasound

Rylan had an Ultrasound on his Kidney this past wednesday. Pete took him since i was working. He said he was ok until he walked back to the room and saw the table. Then he threw a fit, he eventually settled down when the nurse explained and showed him his tummy on the tv =)

Heres the background if you wanna read:
When I was pregnant with Rylan his kidney was 4x's the size it should of been. The tube from the kidney to the bladder was narrowed which didnt let the fluid run through quick enough. They thought they would have to perform surgery at 6 weeks. My dad gave me a blessing (for Rylan) and at the next ultrasound it was down ALOT. only about 2x's its size. The doctors were shocked. When Rylan was born they looked it over and decided he would be able to go longer before surgery was needed. At 5 months he had a horrible test done were he layed on an x-ray machine and gave an iv which sent ink through. (Not the best experience, it took almost 40 min to find his vein through his chunky self, I thought this was what he was having this wed and was soo glad when it wasn't needed). Anyways at 5months he had the surgery, which cut out the narrowing. He was sitting up and laughing that same day. They said all little kids recoverer like champs and im glad that was the way it went. So every few years he'll have it checked at to make sure all is ok.

New Car!!

Soo the insurance got the check out so we were able to go car shopping. We had a few selections : Nissan Armada, Chevy Tahoe, or GMC Arcadia. We made 3 stops and decided on The same model and year as our old Tahoe that was totalled, but this one IS white (Which I totally preffer)has a 3rd row, Much darker interior, and a dvd player. PLUS it way less money. It really worked out. Our insurance picked up our $500 deductable and insurance is actually going down (not much) but not up, even with the accident because this vehicle was finaced for less =) HAHA. YES!! ok, so were not glad that Pete got into an accident but it REALLY worked out for the best. Plus the last was a lease and were buying this one. WIN WIN.

20 weeks!!

Im officially half way there!! YAY!! I feel like its still forever away!! It kinda is but atleast now I get to feel her kicking. I get to see her about every two weeks too! Last November I had surgery on my cervix and its shorter than normal. So every two weeks I have to go in and pay $50 for a cervical check. Its borderline on being to short. So they are monitoring how well it will hold the weight of the baby as she grows. If it seems to become a problem Lucky me gets a few stiches to help hold the weight =( so I dont go into labor to soon or whatever. The reason they dont do it anyways instead of seeing me ALL the time is because sometimes while stitching they could break you water.. and we dont want that. So hopefully all keeps looking borderline and not needing any further help along =) Im feeling good now. Tired here and there as usual but ok. Im feeling the weight gain and not loving it but thats life for ya.. and soo worth it for new little babies!

Our Christmas!!

This year was a little more relaxed than past.. and we LOVED it. Christmas Eve we went to my parents and had Mexican food instead of the traditional since weve been having that SOO much lately with all the different families and festivites. It was yummy!! Then the kids swapped presents and the Adults played White Elephant (I got Battle of the sexes game so we played that too).


After that it was off to put the boys to sleep so santa could come! We had the boys camp out in our room since they wake up so early and would be sneaking out before I would get to see their reaction. It was really fun being sneaky =) We were finally off to bed and the boys slept in longer than I did. Come 7:45a I woke them up cause I was anxious!! Jaiden was sad he thought Santa didnt come. They were pretty stoked when they saw all the fun stuff under the tree. They both got new bikes too!! I made a big breakfast and our day consisted of NOTHING =) We played with the new toys and watched tv and did no cleaning, besides the wrapping paper and boxes! It was IDEAL!That was our first Christmas like this, I loved not having anywere to go or nothing to do.





Saturday we had Christmas with Petes family.We brought over their bikes to play with the cousins.

We took all the kids to see Bedtime stories. That night it was time for presents. The boys got lots of awesome stuff but their favorites were their new teeny skateboards and their batman toys!


All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing, family spent holiday! Im bummed it over but glad time is flying by, anxious to meet this baby and all! Hope everyone had a Great One!

Sanders Christmas Party

Saturday was my Dads side of the family's Christmas party( lots of the family lives out of state so werent able to be there). We played White Elepahnt and had lots of fun. My Grandma is soo crafty and made Jean blankets for EACH family (thats 32 Jean Quilts total!!) soo she obviously had put alot of work into it all year long. Each one seemed to fit perfect to that family. Mine had Cats and Dogs on the front side (Which my boys LOVE).




Thanks again Grandma.. Ive always wanted a Jean Blanket.

White Winter!!

For Jaidens Birthday and to Visit Petes Family we headed up to California on Thursday (Since were now lacking the Tahoe and our other car trunk barely holds the stroller, my parents were awesome enough to let us borrow their suburban, Thanks!!) Jaiden knew we were going on a trip but not to see the cousins and NOT to Disneyland. Pete wanted him blind folded when going into Disneyland, and he was a good sport. After having his beanie pulled down for the whole drive in, walk in, tram ride, tickets... and whatever else, he was half asleep when he finally could take a peek. But he was still excited. It ended up being busy, but me brother in law pushed me around in a wheel chair since im TECHNICALLY suppose to still be taking it kind of easy. So we didnt wait more than 10 min in any line =). Thanks Wayne!! The weather was chilly but not windy at all so it was actually nice!

Happy Birthday Jaiden!!

Jaiden, Today you turned 4!! Happy Birhtday my sweet baby boy! I cant believe it was almost 5 yrs ago when your dad and I found out we were expecting! The circumstances had no mind at all to us that day!! We were both thrilled, and now I understand why. You turned our world up side down. I never knew someone could mean so much to me or be soo precious! From the day I layed my eyes on you I cant stop thinking how amazing you are and how grateful I am to have you in my life. Your spirit it soo ambitious and ready for what is gunna happen next. We never get bored with you around. Your full life and spunk. You are the most ambitious, stubborn, strong willed little boy, and though sometimes its hard on us now, thats the things that are going to take you far in life. I have no concerns about that. You are a great brother to Rylan and I know you will be for your little sister. You constantly are looking out for others well being. Im glad glad your in my life. I love you soo much and cant wait to see what life has in store for you. I love you soo much. Happy Birthday my Son!!

Boy or Girl?!?!?

ITS A GIRL!!!



** Pete had to work so Amber and Tara were able to go with me cause Amber knew I wouldnt want to go to an appointment like this one by myself =) Soo we get back there and the nurse gets into position (I have two boys and knew immediately) My heart starts POUNDING and Im about the cry.. at the same exact moment Amber makes a little eek sound =) We both knew right away but of course the nurse kept checking diferent angles to make sure. I couldnt help and the tears started rolling down. I cant explain how excited I am!!! Before I left the office I have 3 missed calls. Pete, Cystal, and Celestial. Amber told me there was no way I could just tell Pete over the phone... but he kept calling. I know he was anxious too =) I called Pete and acted upset that the babies legs were in the way, and to top it off Tara and Amber had come. He kinda laughed and we talked for a minute. Tara had to take off to work so me and Amber hit up the Target down the street looking for cute Girl stuff to tell Pete. We could find much we liked but I found a Shirt (24 month) that says Im a Daddys Girl and some other cute stuff. When he came home the bag was sitting waiting for him with the ultrasound picture inside. His hands were completely dirty, so I had to pull all the stuff out to show him.

On another cool baby note: Ive felt the baby kick a TINY bit here and there but last night she was moving around a bunch (Still soft little movements) but soo fun to feel her.

Soccer Party/Dulaney Christmas

Weekends Always seem soo busy for us. And then when we aren't go go go it seems I have all kinds of errands to run or somehting. Well this weekend wasnt any different. I leave out the non sense stuff that dont matter =) Saturday the boys had their soccer party from last season at the coaches house. Pizza and cake (Huge backyard with tons of kids stuff) and they got their trophies and pictures. Coach put together a cd for keepsakes. It has all the kids photos with names and then a bunch of pictures through out the season. I was kinda ba hum bug about going (That seems to happen ot me alot this pregnancy) but ended up having a good time and glad we went.

That evening was my moms side of the family Christmas party (I know its a little early but moms sister lives in Ely and comes down this time for Christmas shopping so it works out) We always do White Elephant and the kids played a candy game.

Sunday Jordan Blessed their Baby Mavrik but I forgot my camera =(

NyQuil Overdose

Soo ever since day one with both of my boys the two of them LOVE medicine. If one boy is sick and getting something the other complains they need some. Really>> It cant be just that they've made it taste better since I was a kid cause just recently we had to give my nephew some and he dreaded it. Anyways.. last night Im watching a movie and Pete is headed off the bed. Rylan follows so I figure hes going to lay down with him. About 2 min later I hear someone snooping through the medicine cabinet and look to check it out. Rylan (Who is 21/2 and 28 lbs) had climbed up and gotten out a few bottles of different things. I walk over thiking Ill just get him down and put the things away. I notice the cap on the Childrens Ny Quil is half way on and about half gone. I know weve hardly used any. I look up and sure enough hes got it on his lips. He drank almost half of the bottle. So I call poison control like it says on the bottle. Not too concerned but want to make sure I dont need to rush him anywere. The lady was GREAT and soo nice. It turns out she figured it wasnt too bad. Since it was his bedtime and bound to fall asleep soon since it was Ny quil he took she said to just keep checking him every 15 min and dont expect him to wake up but just like tickle his foot and make sure he responds. This was at like 10 at night so I stayed up for about a half hour and Pete stayed up till midnight playing XBOX with Ry sleeping next to him and checking him. He is completely fine, but I had to write this too remember it and remember how my crazy boys love cough medicine soo much that they will drink half the bottle. =)

Car Accident

Yesterday Pete was driving home and was hit from the side. The other car is totaled and were not sure if our Tahoe is repairable or not. Hopefully well know pretty soon. Im soo glad he walked away ok and that he is safe. Hes a little sore this morning. He wasnt wearing his seatbelt so when she hit him from hte side he flew into the passanger seat and the air bag never even hit him. He is being considered the one a fault which is unreal!! He was going straight through a green light, she turned straight into him. Theres no way she could have looked before entering the intersection. So he'll have to deal with that later. Im soo grateful it was Pete alone in the car though. With me being pregnant and I cant even image getting into a wreck with little ones (They would be mortified and im sure teriffied to get into a car again). So they both walked away ok (Her arm was a little bruised and Pete woke up pretty sore with a banged up knee). So we have our Honda well be driving and well see how the rest goes.

16 weeks Pregnant!!

I havent put belly pictures up for a little bit.. So heres two @ 16 weeks. I should be finding out what im having hopefully this week.

Tis the Season!!

Its finally Christmas time. I would of set up the tree on Thanksgiving if I could of but we waited till after naps on Sunday. At first it was a little stressful and not enjoyable as I had hoped. But then once the boys were able to help it was great family time with Fun Christmas music. The boys did such a good job and had soo much fun! Now I just hope the tree looks the same 25 days from now =) Jaiden is getting a litte anxious and not understanding that it will be a while till Santa comes. He keeps telling me "Mom, Santa forgot to bring our presents again".

Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving this year for my side of the fmaily was this past Saturday. Since all the kids are mostly married it starts to complicate times to get together or conflicts with the in laws so my parents decided this would be best. And im glad we wont have to stuff ourselves with two Meals within hours of eachother =). After dinner Jaiden came in from the garage (My parents have changed it mostly into a game room) crying. I dont think too much of it and see Pete walking out so think hell take care of him. Then my Aunt looks up at me and say "Tara" so I figure I better check it out. My sister Wendy grabs him up and tells me to run cool water. His hand is bleeding pretty decent and he is obviously hurt more than I expected. When we got looking I was almost positive we were about to head off the the emergency room for some stiches and possibly for a broken finger (He wasnt moving the little one). After we got him calmed down we took him to the garage to see what happened. He was pulling on the four wheeler chain trying to get it ot move and his hand slid into the spokes. We thought maybe he'd need atleast a tetnis shot (But hes had on already). We were able to use some butterfly bandages and give him some motrin and he was soon calmed down. We sat down with ice and to watch Bambi and soon enough once it was time for Ice Cream he was doing just fine.

Pete slept on the couch that night so Jaiden could be with me and I could keep checking the ice for his hand and give him a little more motrin for the pain. Thanks Pete for being such a sweet daddy.






(Thanks to my Aunt Lois for the pictures =) ) So this Thanksgiving I have much to be Thankful for but on this particular day im glad I had family around in a stressful situation and who can handle it better than I can (This was our closest call to the emergency room yet and Jaiden is almost 4, Any ones whos seen my boys in action will probably be surprised haha). Hope everyone has a great and relaxing Thanksgiving this year.

Feeling Crafty!!

Soo dont get too excited.. This is NOT my way of saying its a girl.. Cause we still dont know.. And I didnt make them for MY baby. But, I have had a sudden urge to be more crafty. I want to make a blanket and pajama pants or WHATEVER! So last night Crystal and I went to Joann's and got a bunch of stuff. I of course being excited got to work right when i got home. The picture is the finished project ( Well I got more stuff but I figured thats good for a little bit) Ive never made headbands or braclets before but am pretty happy with the outcome as I didnt have instructions! My older brothers wife is having a baby girl in March so this was really why I was making all this. Ill probably start her baby blanket tonight.

Boys Night!!

Jaiden and Pete had a "Boys Night" last night!! They went to watch a friend play in a Basketball League. Pete took Jaiden because hes bigger and more into that stuff. Rylan was pretty upset that he wasnt going but was soon ok with it after I told him if he would stay home and keep mommy and the baby safe then daddy would bring him home bubble gum =) Haha.. Bribery always works in my house!! Anyways.. All night my precious boy kept taking his toy guns and saying " I keep the bad guys away. Later we cuddled up in bed together and he said " I keep the baby safe" What sweet protective boys I have!! Once Jaiden got home he was pretty stoked. He had lots of fun watching Eric and having Alone time with his Favorite person! Well have to plan a guys night for Pete and Ry pretty soon here.

Mavrik Alan Anderson

I was fortunate to meet this little guys not very long after he was born. How special that was to see proud mom and dad showing off their pride and joy!! You cant help but tear up when you see a sweet little baby, and parents so excited to finally have him here. Mavrik Alan Anderson was born 11/9/08 @ 1:26p Weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz. and 19 inches long. He is absolutely perfect. I couldnt be happier for my friends!!

Basketball Boys!

Im glad Basketball is one of my favorite sports to watch =) So almost every Saturday morning Pete takes off early to play some basketball. Either with the guys from church or at the gym. Jaiden gets soo bummed that he cant go watch him and wishes he could see his daddy play in a league again =( Anyways the boys were waiting for him to ocme home and I was trying to clean the house this is what they were doing. Jaiden took the stool and would make Rylan get the ball for him over and over again. What a good sport little brother is. I caught on video ( NOt this clip) but I told Jaiden he needed to ask Rylan to PLEASE ge the ball for him. Right after Rylan caught the ball and stood back and told Jaiden " Say please" Jaiden got a little frustrated but finally did as he was asked and then Rylan gave in. It was cute! Heres a video of them playing once dad got home =) Were debating on putting Jaiden in Basketball next or if well keep him in one more season of soccer. WeRE Pretty sure once he goes to basketball he'll like that better.

Our plans for Halloween:
Meet up with Chris and A.D. and their kids for some fun and safe trick or treating at Town Square.

They first stopped by his parents on the way there and we decided to head on before the since we knew Zach, Lauren, Jimmy, Danie and their kids were heading that was to.
It took about 30 min to just get through traffic and park. Then once we finally got in we realized the boys would have to wait in LONG lines for a single peice of candy. I was ready to leave just about the same second I saw the HUGE crouds. We stuck around for a little bit to meet up with the krew and then headed off to do our own thing. We called up Chris and told him he shouldnt even bother coming down and decided to do some door to door. We went down to a friends neighboorhood and were very pleased!! There were TONS of kids out and the boys had lots of fun and got much more candy much more quickly. It ended up being a good night! Pete and I came home to put the boys to bed and watch scary movies but then I chickened out. ( Pete hate this because when we were dating I LOVED scary movies and was the one forcing him to go and now I refuse to watch them).


** When I was trying to snap this picture of the boys with the Scary Vampire I bent over focusing trying to get a good one and one of the guys dressed up snuck up beside me and scared me SOO bad.. I jumped and screamed and Ran!! I love being scared and am always bummed when Im pregnant because I cant go through I hunted houses because i shove everyone and am positive It cant be good for the baby.. So I was glad I got a scare of the night and Pete and everyone got a kick out of it =)

Trunk Or Treat

Our Wards Trunk or Treat for our ward was last Monday night. Jaiden decided he was a big boy and didnt want to wait for his "SLOW" little brother. Normally I would never let him wander off but hey, we were at the church and he does like to be Mr. Independant... Hence the reason you wont find any photos of him below =) Most of my family came down to ours and Crystal even was taking pictures so we all got to hang out there to!! We got an annoucement that night to which ill share in detail later. =) At one point I stopped to talk and Rylan must of Kept going. I lost him. Pete and I searched the parking lot about 4 x's. I was more concerned about him being scared. Finally I decided to check in by Crystal again. He happily had plopped himself down by Uncle Ryan and was eating away and some candy. He was happy there the rest of the night. The pictures of the little girls are some of my girls in my CTR 7 class.

Pumpkin Carving

Last year and this year my side of the family ( Whoever can make it) Gets together for dinner and craving pumpkins. My boys were dangerous. They wanted so badly to help carve =( We kept finding them with little carvers trying to stab everyones pumpkins. We did buy them 2 little ones for them to paint or draw on but of course wehn everyone else is cutting around them that seems like no fun. So Pete did help them cut into one of the little ones. Heart Breaker.. Or NOT?

Yesterday before soccer practice we decided to grab food at Famous Uncle Als Hot Dogs. Celestial has been coming to soccer practices alot latley since Brandon has school during then. Anyways were sitting there eating and theres a little music in the background. I wasnt really paying attention to it but Jaiden leans over and says " I wont go breaking your heart mom" and lays his precious head on my shoulder and then kisses it. (That was actually the song playing in the background) but it was just too dang cute. I had to blog it so I remember these sweet moments that just make my day! I love you Jai.. and I hope your right little man =) haha.

My Baby

Today I had my 2nd Dr. Appt with the OBGYN. He took a quick look at the baby and my sweet little thing was WAVING its arm =) It was soo precious. Over and over again Im a little amazed by HOW excited we can be and how wonderful the miracle of life is and how fast these little babies grow inside us. No wonder were exhausted =) haha. So I totally left the office WITHOUT the picture he got =( But I do ahve another Ultrasound this Friday which will check the baby indepth more and the tear which hopefully is healing up well behind my placenta. I cant wait!! Ill post those pictures once I get them.

>>So quick update. Rylan has not been really getitng into the games the first few Saturdays. He would either be upset or just kinda hanging out. Talk about a FLIP. THis boy was hard core into the game. He had serious game face on THE WHOLE GAME. Plus he tried hard core, with NO giving up. He put his heart into this last game. He didnt get to actually score any goals. He tripped when he was SOO close =( He got a little down once or twice but not down like wlaking out of the game. He had tears rolling down his face ready for the next play. Im so proud of how hard he tried nad how well he did. He HUSLTED like I have never seen him before. He felt good at the end of the game and im glad things are looking up for him. As for Jaiden, this week was better. He of course scored two goals up front and was put off toward the back to help if the other team got to close to our goal, he would then take it down about 3/4 the way and back off to let another team member put it in>> Thats what I call team work.. and my little man gets his fair share of glory =) I was soo impressed with my little guys out there Saturday and cant wait to see how they continue to progress and enjoy playing sports. GREAT JOB boys!! Were so proud!

10 Weeks

Were officailly to the 1/4 the way mark.10 weeks. Ok ok so theres lots of time left.. Please, dont remind me.

Ive continued on with the sickness through out the day and the night but luckily im not one to throw up. Sorry for the graphic details but I pretty much have a lump in my throat to a good part of the day. IT SUCKS!! But I have to be grateful I keep my food down cause i know many woman dont and some end up with Ivs to help with fluid and nutrients. So I cant complain to much.

Some good news though>> I read online Sea Bands ( thats right.. the motion sickness bands) help SOME woman with morning sickness. My mom had a pair laying around so we figured why not. And there HELPING!! HALLALUAH!! I dont feel wonderful and Ocassionally I get that moment of UGH. But the way I see it.. If it helps any.. im all for it. So if you see me around and think I look funky wearing them.. There is a GOOD reason behind it all.

Once again a NEW daycare =)

So my Little Sister Crystal is officially our new daycare =) Im soo excited to have her too! As are the boys. She comes to our house day and take care of the boys. We had a toy box full of toys and decided to shift the toys to their room and make that box the "DAYCARE BOX". Its full of all sorts of things from learning books and worksheets to markets and construction paper and paint.

Of course now that there all of a sudden so crafty at home though thats mostly what they want to do.

** Every morning and night Pete and I are picking up small pieces of construction paper that they LOVE to cut up. Jaiden wakes up at 5 or 6 am and gets into the box.

I went down to Michaels and picked up some fun little crafts for them to work on also. They've been having all sorts of fun.

Last night we decided to paint a little. Pictures of our MESS =)

CJ'S BBQ

This past weekend it FINALLY got cold for a while. The high Saturday I think was 48. And then has warm back up =( I was totally stoked and of course we couldnt stay inside. So we headed out and did a little shopping and stopped to eat at CJ'S BBQ. We love that place. Its soo yummy. Heres the boys a little bundled up and us eating. I didnt feel well so only order corn muffins. Thats didnt last long and I sucked up my nausea and forced dont a Cheeseburger.. Well worth it =)

Last weekend was Ambers baby Shower!! She had great turn out with LOTS of gifts. Also LOTS of yummy food. Here's Some Pictures of the day.

I have to say my favorite part was seeing LOTS of people I haven't in a while and catching up. I ended up being over there for 4 hrs.

Meanwhile my WONDERFUL husband was off to soccer practice with the boys! Not to mention it was our snack week to add to his load. He did good though of course.

So that story:
Jaiden made 6 whopping goals right off the bat and the other team complained and so he pretty much got "benched" before he even got half time and didn't even play the second half. He didn't mind because Granny, Pappa and cousin Greyson were there to keep him entertained. But as far as me I CARE. I'm really not an opinionated person for the most part and usually id say i just go with the flow. But this really erks me. Ok I understand hes good and I understand if they want him to fall back a little so other kids get a chance with the ball. But really, why do we go to practice and games just to tell him to not try his best or for him to be challenged in any way whatsoever. At this point I wish we would have put him into to 4-5 yr old league although he'll be 3 the whole rest of this season. Hopefully next week will go better.

CeLeBrATe!!

Celestial Graduated EUPHORIA cosmotology school yesterday!! This girl has been doing my hair since Forever. Were we back in Middle School pulling each others hair through caps =D haha.
We were reminising the other day about weird things we use to do while dying our hair ( When I was 17 and she was 14 we had our hair all pulled through caps with nasty bleach all over it and while waiting for it to change we got hungry and decided to go to Jack in the Box =) We lookedl ike HUGE idiots and got a few stares too, I guess when your young you just dont care though).

** They have to have 1800 hours at graduation, which means no one really graduates at the same time. Anyways she was suppose to graduate at 11. But most of the family wouldnt have been able to make it (Including her husband) she she just ditched half a day so her graduation would end up at 4pm instead. So majority of my family and Brandons family were able to make it. =) They make a fun tunnel for the Grads to run throgh and of course she got drenched in confetti!

After we all went to eat at Macayos. That was in celebration of her graduation but we also were Celebrating Lindsey actual B-day and Sheree and Brandons are next week.






Sheree brought her portable DVD player and we set it on a chair in the corner with Strawberry Shortcake which kept the kids entertained much longer.

Super Heros Soccer Game

The boys had their first soccer game on Saturday! It is always soo fun seeing them. Rylan had a rough time at first. He would stand back and watch as the other kids took off with the ball. Eventually he got the hang out if and would run along and he actually got the ball a few times. Although one of the main times he got it, one of his team members took the ball from him, and youll see a video of him below of his little fit thrown after. Its not a great video because its distant but you can see him thro his little arms down and start to run after the girl about to swing at her. I of course had to stop recording to intervene =D Jaiden did awesome as usual. He is the other kid on the teem who has previously played so he is QUITE a bit better. Coach said " We gotta confine him" or the other kids would never have even had a chance to play. So he was stuff back as Goalie kinda (The ydont havce goalies at this age yet) and Pete would tell him when he could go for it. I have a video or Ry playing a little and then Jai making a goal =D (Ry did the walking or the field a few times saturday)

More on the Pregnancy

Soo two days ago I had lots of pain on my side and lower stomach. Yesterday I sent the kids to daycare and didnt go to work and just layed around ALL DAY long. It was a little nice but I started feeling crappy from being so lazy. Anyways today we had our first ultrasound. The baby is measure to size and we heard the heartbeat =D The baby sort of lookedl ike a baby but alot just like a blob still. They told me that I have a little weird thing (Ok, so thats my terminology) behind my placenta. I must have been not taken it easy enough. Thats whats causing the pain. Anyways the pain has eased up ALOT from two days ago but still there. I am suppose to not excersice (Not a problem since i havent been , not walk too much, not lift my kids =( Not clean too much.. All that stuff. Which beside lifting my kids havent been doing much of. Ive been feeling sick for the past two weeks so my poor husband has been wonderful enough to pretty much raise my kids on his own. Plus take care of me to add to his load. Oh yea, did I mention last minute Sunday I asked him to teach my primary class.. And he DID plus took the boys with him. Anways.. the baby is doing good!!

Fireproof

My parents went to this movie Friday night and decided all the kids have to see it with their spouses. So Monday night thats what we did (Most of us were able to make it). Pete and I did think the acting was a little cheesy but other than that GREAT MOVIE!!! It is soo good, and has great concepts on marriage. Plus, youll be crying a little, and who doesnt love that =D

Precious moments in life...

I dont care how old they get, Sleeping babies are PRECIOUS. Ive been a mom for almost 4 years now and I really dont know if Ill every not LOVE staring at my sleeping babies. I oculd just stare at them forever I think.

Also I have to say, I think boys dont really get the credit they should on how sweet they are. I cant believe the things these boys do. I just hope they be so amazing and SWEET 10-15 years from now =D haha.

61/2 Weeks

So here I am 61/2 Wks pregnant and SHOWING!! I know they say with each kid its sooner but REALLY NOW? Anyways.. Jaiden mostly tired, Rylan Mostly great!! This one.. Mostly NOT MYSELF!! Im barely in and I can tell im pregnant! Extremely tired.. Cant sleep half night and then exhausted others! Starting to get a morning sickness.. Although its ALL day long! HUNGRY AS A HIPPO last week but started to ease up a little this week. Oh did I mention TIRED! So I know its a lot of complaining but really I dont like being at this stage of pregnancy. You feel all these things but yet you dont look pregnant (Or huge in my case =) I am looking a little pregnant) and you dont get the awesome things that make pregnancy worth it yet.. like feeling the baby kick, or hearing the heartbeat or anything FUN like that. I have first appointment thursday and cant wait. I love my doctor (It Petes Best Friends Dad)! Ok Ok so enough with the compaining>> I have to say there is one or two great things already>> Having a 2 and 3 yr old while pregnant. We debated on telling the boys so soon because its like FOREVER away. But we couldn't resist. My boys are precious. Jaiden layed on my lap the other day and had to double check his positon as to make sure not to SQUISH our baby. Rylan says his baby needs a drink and rubs his belly (OH BOY, the boy wont listen otherwise) They always talk and kiss the baby already. When we eat dinner Jaiden asks questions like> Did the baby like that hamburger mom? I oculd go on and on.. But im sure its mostly cute to Mom and Dad =)

Mohawk!!

Rylan has pretty much had a Mohawk since day one!! No, I wasnt a little girl, or mom dreaming about how my baby boy would have a mohawk.. It just kinda happened, and It totally fits him and I love it!! My dad once asked me why do I do one kid one way and one the other. Or what made me choose who got what!! I didnt really have a answer. I just kinda always liked that they were totally different hair styles. (I think alot of people find a style they like for their kids and do it for most.. like spiked or shaved or whatever). So its been a LONG time since he asked us that but we decided WHY NOT try it on Jai. I mean I cut my boys hair about every two weeks so whats the worst that could happen. He'll look goofy for a few weeks =) Hes THREE!! O well. So we did it and I have to say I dont hate it but I dont love it. I like the old way better. So by the next haircut Ill probablly shave it off and start over but well see.

So back in January when Pete was still investigating the church we got those little red book of mormons to take with us to Costa Rica so we could read them and not tote around our big Scriptures. It came in very handy. Although since then they havent had much use besides sitting on the floor halfway under bed, since we use our normal, larger scriptures. Well two days ago Jaiden came across them and wanted to tote him "Book of Jesus" around the house. =D I explained to him its the "Book of Mormon" or "Scriptures" Well he slept with them that night, next to his pillow. The next morning he INSISTED that he had to bring them to school with him. I didnt really want him too but I figured that would probably be setting a bad example for him and if he has the desire to bring them with him I had better let him!!! So, he said he would keep them in his backpack, and he did! Right when we picked him up from school he ran to his backpack to pull them out and starts flippin on through 'em like hes reading!! Too Funny. But of course Rylan got upset and Today the two or them packed their own little book of mormon in their backpacks! =)

Special Delivery For the Almanza Family ETA May 16th.

Thats right, Im pregnant with Baby #3 and were totally stoked.(This was the first planned baby, and were surprised how easily it happened for us> I know it was ment to be)

So our baby is due May 16th, which is 7 days after Rylan will turn 3 yrs old.

Soccer TIme for Two!!

We took off summer from Soccer, since its our busy season in business for Pete and I, Plus its so dang Hot I didt really care for my little man to be playing. So Yesterday was Jaidens first soccer practice. They meet right in Southern Highlands which is alot closer than last season. I totally LOVE the coach. She has worked with 13-18 yr olds in hte past but she has a 21/2 yr old daughter herself so she decided to coach. She was great!! She had awesome little ideas to help the kids and they had little drills. She's great with the kids to. I am soo excited to have her coaching!! Soo,just so your all clued in. My nephew played Soccer when Jaiden was about 2 and whenever we went to the games, Pete and I, or someone in his family, stood on the sideline kicking the ball around with Jaiden because he wanted so badly to play. Well come time for Jai to play nad this is the same way it has been with Rylan. My kids dont watch>> THEY DO =D Soo.. As all the parents of first players see Rylan playing like the little stud he is, they start commenting and even the coach.. WHY didnt we sign him up. Of course I explain he is only 2 and there all 3. Well they keep persisting that you dont show a birth certificate or anything so I should do it. We ask the coach a little more about it after practice nad shes all for it. Plus her little one playing is only 21/2. So today we signed up Rylan for the team to. Im totally stoked to see BOTH my boys play this season. They are going to have a blast together. Plus Ry's already got shorts and cleats, all I have to find now is little bitty shin guards! You can see in hte pictures that the coach was allowing RYlan to join in before we even asked her. Shes great!

CTR 7

I got my first calling since I was in Young Women =D CTR 7.. Sunday was my first class with the and I was a little nervous but soo excited. I know Im going to learn alot, from the leassons nad them. I have to say I totally lucked out. I get to teach all GIRLS!! THAts right, This week there was only 3 girls but they said sometime theres 5 but there not even a boys name on the role. Yay!! Boys are usually harder..Atleast thats how I see it. Or maybe its cause my girls are AWESOME!! They were soo reverent and raised there hands to answer questions and all. They are soo sweet to. I saw Amee after church and bragged a little. Of course she reminded me next year it'll all change.. but hey thats months away for me to get the hang out it right =D

The Father loved his son..

Time for Change

Pete and I put the kids in Day Care last summer. They have been at the same one ever since and have LOVED it, as have we. I saw a new Day Care being built close to home so decided to check it out.

Pros vs. Cons:

Pros:

Closer Total Time 25 min

Cheaper, about $35wk/ plus gas

Smaller classrooms Max 12 kids = More Attention, more disipline

Has pre K Programs

Closer=Less Drive Time=More Mom time w/Kids

Cons:

Further, drive time total round trip about 1 hr 20 min = Less time with Kids

Larger Classes, Jaiden had 28 kids in class at one time, so I know kids are getting away with things and not being noticed.

Boys LOVE their teachers, friends their. vise versus

We loved the old daycare and I actullay had to try hard to hold my tears back their last day but the Pros definately outweighed the cons so it wasnt a hard decision.

Today was their first day at the new school and It took a whole 6 min to get there =D Way better. The boys had to get backpacks and lunch pails (They think there big boys now, so that got them excited for the change). Jaiden went in great this morning, but Ry was a little harder. Not crying but holding my arm as he played as to not let me sneak out. But the teacher got him comfortable playing with her.

They do have the web cam online also that I can watch them throughout the day online like the old daycare. I was really hoping I could watch them the first day but the website is giving me problems and I am SOO frustrated I cant see my babies on their first day. I cant wait till the end of the day for them to tell me what they think about it. ....Counting down the hours.....

Labor Day/Howard Family Reunion

This Weekend was My Dads Side of the Family, The Howard Family Reunion!! It was held at Cherry-Hill (Like a Scandia/Water Park) and at one of the local churchs which has a pavilion and and huge grass area! Friday morning we drove the LONG 7 hr drive with the boys with only one gas/potty stop and made it there by 3pm Utah time. Then quickly changed and hurried on to Cherry-Hill to get as much swimming time in. Wow! Is that place a blast. There was a kids play area, a Ragin Rapids and a Blue Mats (I named them this cause its just like wet 'n' wilds were) Jaiden wanted so bad to go down the big boy slides and I was worried we were in for it when he wasnt big enough. But luckily they let the boys ride down with us on them.





At 8pm the pool closed so we were off miniture golfing. We definately werent competitive and we all had fun watching my boys. Everyone started to see how Determined and hard headed Jaiden was. If he didnt make it through the right spot he wanted to try over and over till he got it.

Saturday was the Family Reunion at the Church. We were outdoors majority of the day with Wonderful weather. We had GREAT food and lots of fun playing and doing nothing. At dinner it was a Dutch Oven cook off (Yummy, and lets just say my family can cook!) We were stuffed by the end of the day and all the food. Once it got dark we moved inside and played Human Fooseball and Colorball. The kids had some fun in hte primary room.

Sunday we headed up through Antelope Island but mostly saw Buffalo, which was still cool. We got out and had a little "Nature Walk"

And then off to Temple Square in Salt Lake. Ive always wanted a picture in front of this statue of Christ. That was a cool experience.

I am soo grateful for my Fun Family and for the opertunity that Pete, the boys and I have been able to go on soo many great vacations this year. Im sure it will slow down now but It has been wonderful.

Thanks to Adams Parents to who HOused and fed my whole family =D About 20 of us.. They were extremely generous and we loved the area!!

Cute bOyS!!

At the beginning of this month Jaiden rode his first roller coaster and we bought the DVD to watch over and over again =D Of course we havent done that because Rylan gets soo sad and mad that he didnt get to ride. So this weekend we were at Chuckie Cheese and they had a little ride that moves like a roller coaster and the view of the ride. We put the boys on it knowing Ry would love it AND HE DID =D i was cracking up watching them crack up on the ride (I notice more and more with kids how contagious laughing really is) Heres them riding it!






Then sunday my side of the family were due for another family photo since we have two more family members (Brandon, Celestials Husband, and Ryan, Crystals Husband) We went out to Red Rock and took some, Jaiden and Rylan were HUGE posers!! I couldnt believe it! They were too funny. Here are some of Jai posing after the family pictures. I normally take my camera everywere but of course I left it so these arent the best but still ADORABLE!!

Girls Night!!

I have 3 friends that the 4 of us girls were really close all through High School. We have of course since life moves on, not hung out very often as we should. Last I hung out with all 4 of us was Taras College Graduation a few months back. So we decided we better get on it. All our lives are at totally diffent stages but when we get together all that goes away and were all just Best Friends again. We took a girls night and all rode together (Cause thats always more time to talk =D ) to get some BJ'S PIzza Yummy!! We were cracking up by the end of the night of course>> Especially with Amber around haha! Then we went and Saw Siterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (We thought it apropriate for 4 best friends) Amber and Ash werent quite as into it as me and Tara.. Over all it was LOTS of fun!! Girls Nights can never go wrong in my opinion!! =D

Cinnamon Rolls

My mom has always been one to make homemade bread and rolls and stuff like that. I always knew I would occasionally do it too, But so far 3 years of being married and on my

own and I have not done anything like that completely from scratch. So I decided Id try. Last night the boys and I made Homemade Cinnamon Roll with no help from Grandma!! Yeast and all, completely form Scratch!! Im pretty happy with how they turned out too! Here so pictures from Petes phone of us and the finished product!

Everyone needs a little pravacy

Rylan has not had any interest in starting potty training, and I was ok with that because I WAS NOT looking forward to it. Jaiden just took so long, and it was soo frustrating. Just soo everyone understands.. Rylan would sit on the potty every once in a while nad then about 1 second later the boy would stand up and say all done. Never even really trying at all (Note the boy has actually peed in the potty only about 1 time out of about 30-40 times sitting on it). So this weekend he decides he want to sit on potty and I of course let him but think nothing of it. Once he sits down I have to run and check on breakfaast, only a few seconds later he says "ALL DONE" I go in to check on him and what'da know THE BOY DID IT!! YAY!! So, ive come to the conclusion that he likes a little privacy! He only goes when I leave him alone for a minute.He wore underwear saturday and sunday (not at church) and all the time when hes at home. He has been doing AWESOME!! I hope everything keeps going this well. Although we still gotta work on #2, he doesnt have that one down yet!

Getting older every minute

Jaiden has liked taking showers with Pete since forever it seems like (Rylan not untill recently) But just a few days ago Jaiden decided he needed to take one all by himself. So I plop him in thinking ill be reaching in getting all wet in just a minute to wash him up. But I pop my head back in and he was all leathered up head to toe and starting to rinse off. AMAZING. My 3 year old is becoming more and more independant all the time that is totally amazes me. Of course every day since he tells me I need to shower all by myself and yesterday He was a little upset that he had to help Ry shower first before he could have the shower to himself (Because of course Rylan wants to do everything Jaiden does, when it comes to bib boy stuff)

Day 3, Jump 'n' Jammin

Day 3, and day to go home =( We needed something fun for last day with the cousins, something we cant do in Vegas, and something to do to wear the kids out so they sleep most the way home!! Jump'n'Jammin was just the place. It was a big Warehouse with all kids of stuff to do! It had slides and foam balls to shoot and throw around, tunnels to climb through!! Pletty much a HUGE Burger King Play area.. and then some =D We were there 3 hrs and the kids didnt stop once. They had soo much fun!! Man whoever invents these kinds of places are GENIUS! Once it was time to go, it wasnt the easiest thing getting the kids to leave! Rylan curled down on the ground and broke into tears! Jaiden wasnt too bad ( Although I did brib him with a ice cream cone =D works like a charm!) We went next door for lunch and poor Jai was exhausted he couldnt even make it through, he was laying on my lap within about 5 min! If anyone know of anything like this in Vegas, please let me know. ... We did get to go to the pump it up place for a party once, But they are only open to the public on week days while im working =(

My little family!




So Sunday morning we decided we would do Knott's Berry Farm!! Glad we chose it. It turned out to be a blast for the kids, and us too of course!! Jaiden Rode his first REAL roller coaster. YES, hes 3 and this thing was fast and spun around too. No flips but other than that, the real deal. They had a video recorder at the front of each seat. We bought the video of it cause it was too cute but I cant figure out how to upload it on here =( Rylan had a fun time too, he only cried on 1 ride. It was like a small big shot =) hes not ready for that yet!! Jaiden was soo excited about roller coaters he wanted to ride them all (Of course hes not big enough though). We all got to do the log ride,
and the boys loved getting slashed and wet!!

Sea World

Just about every year we have gone to Disneyland with Petes family. This year we headed off to Sea World. My kids have never gone and its been so long for Pete and I we couldnt remember much about it. So Friday pete worked a half day and I spent the morning loading to car and getting everything ready (Petes parents were awesome enough to pick up the boys @ 8am, which meant we got our First Road trip ALONE ever!! It was nice!!) Saturday morning we headed off to Sea World. It was a blast. and it wasnt too hott, just humid =( The boys were LOVING IT. Seeing all the animals. When they were looking at the sea lions one actual came and sat up on a rock RIGHT NEXT to the glass! Later at night when it wasnt soo crowded we walked down to the killer wale tank!! It was a momma and two babies, just not soo small. They were totally showing off =D Swimming around and playing and bumping into each other. Then one came RIGHT in front of the kids and hung out for a few minutes like he was talking to them, moving his mouth and all!! AMAZING!! Definately my favortie part and of course my camera was dead =( ugh! Overall a VERY fun day at Sea World but thats a place I wouldnt recomend doing every year. Its like go back once you've forgotten how cool it was. Cause if you went all the time it would kill all the thrill!!

Broken Heart!!

So Jaidens saying Lately is too cute!! For the past month or so he says this every once in a while and I have no idea were he picked it up from but I LOVE it.. If he is getting into trouble or if we tell him no about something, he breaks out with " Your breaking my heart" in his sobby little voice. It makes me wanna laugh but kind of breaks my heart at the same time =D

24th Of July Celebration!!

Every 24th of July as far as I know my Grandparents Stake have a huge Celebration at the Stake Center. My family went this year a had such a good time. The boys had a great time on on the fun jumpers and with the fun games they had! Jaiden, my little daredevil, decided he could jump down one from the top of the slide to the very bottom, no slide was touched in between!! I swear, its a good thing kids are built as tough as the yare otherwise we'd all be in trouble =D They had lots of great food and of course it owuldn't be a celebration without cotton candy.. although Jaiden and I stood in line for about 15-20min for some. I was surpirsed how patient he was waiting, I guess the end result was worth it all =D At 9pm they had a firework show! Lots of pretty fireworks but it was definately loud. Sheree and Adam had little ear plugs for Jade so that worked out perfect so she didnt freak out! The weather was perfect too.

Jai had to do this one, again there was a line but he didnt mind, It was something he was determined to do. I kept telling him " theres lots of kids waiting so if you cant get to the top then you have to just slide down and let the other kids take there turn". As it turned out he did REAL good. The first time around he was to the top before I could turn my camera on. So I decided to record him going so well the second time!

Movies @ The District

Ive heard last year that they have free movies outdoors at The District. I wanted to go but before I knew it summer was over. So my sister Sheree mentioned it again and we decided to try it out. My mom, Gary, Lindsey, and Jade met us there too! So the movie started at 8pm so we decided 7:30 would be ok to arrive. Well, next time we will plan a little earlier.. It was ok but being a little farther back didn't help my boys attention span. So we saw bits and peices but really mostly enjoyed doing something different, with the family, and in great weather. We will definately go back, but next time a little earlier and with a movie we know they like.

Night Before the Wedding

The night before Crystal and Ryans Wedding, Ryans family threw a BBQ/Pool party. We all went over and had a BLAST. We ate lots of great BBQ food and WOW.. What a FUN pool, and the water was so nice that we were swimming after dark and werent getting cold. There was a little cliff that all the kids were taking turns jumping off of. Rylan took his fair share of turns, and even Sheree and Adams baby girl Jade (15 mo.) got dropped off into her daddys arms =D By the end of the night my boys were worn out with fun and Jai was out cold before we could turn out of the community.
