Sunday we were able to celebrate Pete for Father’s Day!
He is working a TON of hours right now. Probably 65-68 on average.
Thankfully he is home by dinner (5:30/6:30) most nights. He just goes in early and is working 6 days a week.
Summer in Ac in Vegas is no joke.
Pete is such a great dad and so involved with these kids.
We knew when he left Cal Air and went to Yes that he would miss out on a lot of his favorite kid things. Like games and just being around. It was a sacrifice he was willing to make for our marriage and family. Hoping to provide financially better for his babies.
Even though he is around less.. he still calls the kids through the day to check in or to remind them to do their house stuff (while I’m at work also)
Pete is a great husband and dad and we’re glad we got to celebrate the amazing guy he is.
His work has a air fryer and he has been talking about it.
So we got him one and some bath and body works men lotions.
We made him chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast.
Then headed to sportsman’s warehouse to walk around.
We planned on steaks and potato dish in the air fryer but wound up stopping at Master Kiks Korean bbq (a place Pete has had on his “try as a family”)
It was delicious and expensive, but we knew it would be. Half of it is the experience!
We had a relaxing day (just what Pete wanted)
We love you dad!
(We didn’t see my dad on Father’s Day because her was traveling back from Arizona to see my moms dad- but I’m so glad we got to celebrate him earlier in the week)
