Im scared babe, cuddle me!

Seriously... I DONT watch scary movies. When Pete and I met, he didnt love them and I did. So, he says I got him hooked. But now... I want nothing to do with them. I get serious nightmares. I havent wasthced anything scary in forever and yet last night I kid you not, Had about 7... All included me being murder.. Along the lines of the movies.. The Ring, THe Exorcist, and The Blair Witch project.

Im pretty sure my husband might have gotten less sleep than me. I kept waking him up and telling him to cuddle me cause I was scared. Thats right.. A husband i just as great.. If not better, than a parent when you have nightmares. I know very well.

Pete asked me if I had wathced anything scary lately. NO!! What the crap.

Pirate Week

Ok. I know I talk lots about my daycare.. but honestly.. my kids are having nowere near a boring summer this year! Last week was Camping week. This week they did Pirate Week. Jaiden also took a field trip to Ethel M Chocolate factory and both boys have had water day this week. Pirate week included making fun/cute crafts and today they dressed up a pirates, well Rylan did and Jaiden thought his facial hair was cool and wanted some. Rylan was bummed this morning when he couldnt find his hat.. but once his eye patch was on it was adorable. Ry made a really cute treasue box too.

Oldest

Since Wendys Kids moved away I decided .. I DONT LIKE having the oldest cousins. :( My kids are now the "EXAMPLES" to the little ones and I find myself constantly telling then to stop, because they have to set the example. I want my sister back and my nieces and nephews ;) haha. Also, Ive decided Kadence is drama but for the most part.. she still is easiest. My boys are kicking my butt lately. Rylan in starting to hit and not to fun stage were he just odenst want to listen. I think its starting to hit me more and more that its not really the kid.. its the age. My boys boys bounce back and forth on whos hardest.

My boys are LOVING sumemr camp at their daycare.

Seriously Soo Fun. Last week was "camping week". They brought their sleeping bags and they had tents set up. The ywent " fishing" with a pole and paper fish. Rylans teacher projected stars on the ceiling at nap time. They ate smores. Jaidens calss made canteens out of a water bottle and two paper plates on the sides and decorated super cute. He also made little tents out of popsicle stick and material.

Can you see why I LOVE my daycare?? Oh, and why they love it and comlain when I come to early after they already been there for 9 hours.

6th Anniversary Surprise

For those of you who dont know. Pete and I Met while working at the MOnte Carlo Pool as Lifeguards. We keep talking about how we need to get away together again. Sooo, I decided to surprise Pete by getting us a room at the MOnte Carlo for a little staycation. HUGE HUGE thanks to my baby sis Celestial for stepping up and sleeping over and taking on the load of my little ones. Anyways.. heres how it went down.

I told Pete I asked Leshal to babyistt so we could go out to dinner to celebrate our anniversayrr since its Monday. So he really wants to just do the Green Valley Ranch Buffet. So we go, decide were not too impressed haha. Then after we trying to decide what to do. Im trying to sway Pete toward the strip but he wasnt going for it really. So I just told him. He was shocked and totally excited. So we head that way. Check into the room, hang out, then we walk the strip, go to water show, the garden and the arcades. SOOO MUSH FUN!! Seriously, this kind of thing is SOO important in a marriage I believe!! Its a must to fall in love all over again sometime :) haha. Anyways, we had a BLAST stayed up till 2 am and then woke up at 7am WHAT!! Head to breakfast then to were it all began >>> THE POOL. Its been 8 years since we met and the pool is way different. We layed out and relaxed for about and hour and a half, then we headed home :( Took naps and let Leshal head off. Then we met Celestial and Brandon back at the pool with the kids. WHOA!! monte carlo isnt quite as family friendly as it used to be. They had a dj, real young crowd and kinda party atmospehere. So we hung out for a little bit then decided we better leave before it got to crazy. Definately not were I care to go back to. Anyways. Did I mention my daughter has a new favorite? AUNTIE LESHAL...WHAT, I told her she cant babysit anymore. For real, she would PUsh me away and go for lesh. :( Not cool lesh! Thankfully Im back to being the favorite again.

Pete and I had a blast and cant wait to plan the next vaca away from the babes!!

Summer Fun

Summer, will pass us by if we let it. Works picking up and the days are flying by! But im determined to enjoy this summer with my babies. This weekend wasa great start to a great summer. First off, With Pete working with me, we have lots more time together than we would have right about now if he were still at yes. So im so gratefull we have that.. but we gotta make that time fun. And, when you dont got a pool in this heat.. you improvise. So for the past 3 days/nights. Weve done the slip in slide. Super Fun!! Saturday morning I took the boys to Star Nursery for their free activities and they painted dad a stepping stone and checked out the cool "big" turtles. Compared to grandma and grandpas these guys are huge. Plus, they are NOT afraid of people. So Fun for the kids.

Kindergarten Graduate

Today Jaiden Graduated from Kindegarten. Wow!! I was much more emotional with the end of the year than the beginning. I REALLY liked Jaidens teacher Mrs. Stoft and am SOO very grateful for her. I got emotional throughout the program, but when I hugged and thanked Mrs. Stoft.. thats when I lost it. She has done a remendous job wit hthese kids. Jaiden has NOT ONCE said he doesnt want to go to school. He comes home stoked all the time of things hes learned. They had a performance with super cute songs. I got emotional as I saw Jaiden perform them so well and with such confidance. He knew every word to every song. She really has instilled a love for learning in my sweet baby boy. he sent home a packet of learning stuff for over the summer. Hes did 3 pages in one night when I told him he could wait till school is out. After the main performance with another class we headed to the classroom for donuts and goodies and a slideshow of pictures from throughout the year. It was adorable. She made a dvd for each of us. She had collected through the year lots of projects and had them collected in a pizza box for each parent. I cant wait to leave work and go through it tonight. Obviously I loved her and really really hope Ry gets her next year. Im so excited for Jaiden to move to Kindergarten but hope he isnt let down since hes had such an amazing teacher this year.

End of Soccer

Spring Soccer of 2011 has come to an end. We had decided were done with soccer and its time to try other things. NOw... were debating. Jaiden will do a little basketball this summer hopefully and Rylan will take a break since the basketball is for 6-8 (a little to old for Ry) and then come Fall, Rylan MAY go back the soccer. Well see, he did really pretty well toward the end of the season. For the soccer party we did a BBQ at the park. The kids had a absolute blast running and playing with the kids. These are the same kids 2 seasons in a row and they all really enjoy eachother and have gotten pretty close.

Grounded

Ive been trying hard to spend quality time with the kids. Friday night we went for a family bike ride. Saturday as Pete and I are unloading the car the boys ask if they can ride their bikes. Of course. Like they always do. Well after we done unloading we notice we DONT see the kids. WHAT THE CRAP!! So pete starts walking. See Ry just down the street and sends him home. Rylan said they went around the neighborhood, and Jaiden went a 2nd time around. Pete had to jump on his bike and go looking for him. We live in a safe neighborhood I think but there are lots of cars around. I get worried just on our street. Now, some of you parents may think Im weird (although i kind of doubt it), the boys are now grounded from the bikes for 1 week. They are pretty bummed. Especially when we added the skateboards as well since they do that in the front too.

As I was typing this I remembered a story. Not of me but of my siblings that my mom has told and think its hilarious.

When Gary was bout 4 and Sheree only 2, we had a dog. Gary decided to take Sheree and the dog for a walk around the nieghborhood. My mom was freaking out. Im not sure how exactly that played out but I can say that is a little worse than our boys and the past Saturday.
