Neighborhood play house

Somehow we wouND up having the neighborhood Playhouse. 

our biys ride the bus with all these kids.. and daily they knock on our door to play. 

I like that my kids are were I have control. but don't love any down time. 

Sometimes coming home from work I want to veg out.. it's not so easy with all this going on. 

On another note... Jaiden went to his first drop off friend party. 

We also took another boy in the neighborhood cause his mom works Late. 

It was at laser tag and we literally pulled uP.

they jumped out of the car and went in. 

:(  I'm in denial this is happening already. 

I'm glad we have a cell phone for Jaiden. 

Fan Jam 12

Cal Air has been advertising on the radio. 

They have us 4 tickets to fan jam 12..  which is only free to everyone. No one can buy these, only win. 

Anyways.. I'm a big country music fan so I was SUPER excited. 

Pete listen to country because I'm around.. so he can listen to it but he don't "jam out" ;) to it like me.

 We got to go with Sheree and Adam. I see Adam every day at work b it hardly ever hang out with Sheree.. and never without the kids so it was a fun night out for a few reasons.

We had Alot of fun!!!

Reptiles!! umm..

I'm NOT a fan of reptiles, BUT, our neighbor is apparently. 

This is the first real conversation we've had with her. She's a teenager and lives with her grandparents.  The boys were talking to their friends in the front yard. She came home and asked if they liked snakes.. she had JUST bought two.

for the next 45 min the kids held her snakes and bearded dragon lizards. (I even held a snake for my first time ever.. super out of my comfort zone) the kids LOVED them.

she even let her lizard feed on a roach in front of us. 

As in a roach crawling on her till he snatched it.... AHHH!!

It was good entertainment for the night that's for sure. 

Slip and slide

Yard work followed by some slip and slide fun.   Perfect morning!

Splash pad... too big?

I was a little devestates this last weekend to find that maybe my kids are outgrowing splash pads.       :( 

this is my love to watch my kids play while I relax time. And we can still do it when it's crazy hot outside. 

Jaiden didn't even want to play at all. 

Which then mad it not as fun for rylan. When rylan didn't want to of course kadence has no one.. they headed over to the normal ply ground after 10 min. 

The water was still chilly so hopefully they'll change their minds.. I'm not ready to be past this stage already. :( 

Student of the Month

Kadence got student of the month. 

Her teacher didn't tell her so I'm glad I dejunked her backpack and found the paper for the breakfast. 

She was SOO SOO excited!!

she got a special doughnut and hot chocolate breakfast with dad!!

April Fools

We love APRIL FOOLS.

I'm not one for mean tricks but to do some th ING out of the ordinary.  I'm in!!

Tricked the boys with fake poop on the toilet. 

I also put red food coloring on the faucet so when they first turned on the water to Bruce their teeth it ran red. 

Jaiden said "oh heck no"  and turned it off.

So funny!!

Of course we did our annual 

Dinner for fools!!

Daddy was working late, we waited till 7:30 then decided we better eat without him :( boo!!

I was feeling lazy and tried to bribe the kids with eating out instead.  They insisted we do our dinner. 

Glad we did.  We all love it!!

Meeting Kendra Brooke

The ten hour drive ended up taking about 12hrs with 3 kids, potty, and lunch breaks... BUT , the drive wasnt bad and the kids were MUCH better than I expected. 

We carpooled with my parents which helped with the fuel cost and it was more fun : ) 

Alamo morning stop... yea, it was still dark. We left at 4am! 

And my posers kids needed this picture at the Ely, NV mcDonalds.. haha

Kadence literally only slept like 20 min on the drive up.. here shes fake sleeping so that I will take her picture.. I had hopes shes acutally close her eyes and fall alseep.. It worked.. for the whole 20 min  :(

We loved our SUPER short trip... because we got too see our family!! Miss them lots but glad we got to love on their babies!!
