Friday we are supposed to take a flight from Vegas to Los Angeles where we would meet the rest of the group and catch the flight to Fiji well plans changed Los Angeles had awful weather and our flight was cancelled we jumped in the truck and drove to Los Angeles as fast as we could Los Angeles was flooding like crazy but we had a two-hour delay and we're on our flight to Fiji
Traffic was so bad for a while we were literally stopped
Fiji's time is crazy different than ours and after all the long traveling we were exhausted
We spent the first day relaxing by the pool and napping
Most nights we met up with some of the group and ate dinner this first night there was a big crab right in the middle the hotel that Pete picked up
They had weird food there and usually when I travel my stomach bothers me so we got juice a few different times and made sure to walk around the property was beautiful

The forecast for the week before we left was rainy for the entire week we were bummed and really helping we weren't going to be stuck inside our hotel room the entire trip the first couple days were over cast but we took a jet ski tour to an island anyways
It didn't get too rough and the island was well worth it the water was crystal clear and some pretty good snorkeling are jet ski had trouble on the way back and would only go 10 miles an hour they got it figured out and we headed back to the hotel it was so much fun
We got together with two of the other Vegas couples got a taxi and told him to take us anywhere cool he brought us to the sleeping giant which is just a section of mountain that's beautiful Forest lots of beautiful trees and ponds but it was super humid
On Wednesday we went with 5 other couples and went to cloud nine Pete had heard of this from a friend who helped build the temple in Fiji he told us we had to check it out it definitely was a highlight of the trip it's a bar slash Pizza Joint floating in the middle of the ocean with incredibly clear blue water lots of fun relaxing and jumping off the side of the boat definitely an unforgettable moment
We went with GM Raquel to South Sea Island it was all inclusive for food drinks kayaking snorkeling paddle boarding
The snorkeling was beautiful the food was good weak I act a little bit we even saw baby turtles that had hatched the day before and were unable to make it to the ocean
And the major major highlight of the trip was our first time scuba diving on this Island they offered scuba diving where the scuba instructor would link arms with you if you'd like and take you down as far or as shallow as you felt comfortable you literally walked off the oath of the island into the water we figured if we were ever going to try scuba this was the easiest place to start we had it planned on going but we're so stoked that we did it was an incredible experience and so so so much fun
I didn't have an underwater camera only my phone in a water case and they said that that's a bad idea because of the pressure changes it can break my phone so we didn't chance it and we missed out on some amazing pictures of big fishes a stingray and fish fighting Pete touching a huge clam and just having an amazing time with our first scuba dive
We had to do a little dodging when we snorkeled on this island because there was a lot of jellyfish kind of freaked us out for a little while but one of the locals told us that these type of jellyfish don't sting still hard to get your mind past not dodging them and I'd still freak out
Sigler's farewell dinner was a big banquet with physician people dancing posing as statues and the live band with lots of dancing at this point we've met many of the couples from Vegas and us girls all danced for hours such a fun night
The resort pool and surrounding area was beautiful we were able to jump up between three separate hotels and use those restaurants and amenities one had an infinity pool where we relaxed on our last day before we got kicked out of our rooms
Anytime we wanted to head into the marina or venture out a little we took taxis everyone we got it made us laugh they were all different whether it was leopard skin seats for shag rugs or pillows
The way back home totally stunk the flight was delayed for an hour we finally got on the plane got settled and started to fall asleep then we were told that a crew member got sick and they were bringing in another crew member to replace them we waited for 45 minutes on the plane then the pilot got back on and told us we had to get our things and get off the plane because they had to do some decontamination we then waited for 2 more hours to get back on the plane by the time we got to Los Angeles we were tired and ready for some American food Wayne picked us up from the airport and took us to the Hat then we ate at their house and headed home we traveled for a total of 27 hours to get home more so glad to be home with our babies
The kiddos always have fun with our room decorating it for pay back for leaving them
They have lots of fun with rose Kim Grayson and Jackson and even spent a day with Celestial in her kids they told us they missed us but I think all the fun kept them distracted
So long Fiji we hope one day we get a comeback
