~~Pete Tara Jaiden Rylan Kadence~~: May 2011

Friday night Petes family got into town and came over for a little but. Greyson spent the night. Ther kids stayed up late playing and woke up early but let Pete and I sleep in. We got ready and headed to Granny were we had breakfast.

I ran to the store for floaties and swimming diapers. Were all ready to swim and head to the Red Rock were Crystal and Wayne are staying and the pool wont let us in without wrist bands. This is new because weve gone in numerous times in the past. So now we have lots of kids who want to swim and no pool. I called Sheree to see if we could raid her work pool and she said yes. So we spent saturday afternoon swimming. (Pete left early to go shoot with Brandon and Dustin)

After the pool we got cleaned up and let the kids rest, then headed to the M buffet. We stood in line for 1 1/2 hours. I ate MORE than enough crab to feed my whole family though. Jaiden didnt want ANY help cracking his. Pretty impressive really.

Sunday morning the plan was to have Jaxon Birhtday party at the park. The wind was horribel though so It moved to our house. So I spent a good part of the morning cleaning and getting the kids dressed.

After the party we had a 1 1/2 down time (thankfully) and then headed to my parents ( were were going to go camping but due to the wind plans changed alsO. We had hot dogs and hamburgers and played games.

Monday morning I headed to Savers with Celestial and Rylan for a 50% off sale. it was packed but we got some AMAZING deals. I went looking mostly for Jade since Sheree spent the day with Adam because there never off together but wound up getting some great deals for my family. Rylan was extremely well behaved and got rewarded with a slurpee.

Meanwhile the boys took the rest of the kids to Bass Pro to stock up on Ammo for shooting. We grabbed subway sandwiches and headed out to Lovel Canyon to meet the rest of teh Family who went up earlier to ride quads. We ate, shot , and rode the little kids close on the quads.

I was pooped and ready to head home alone but Pete was still living it up and Brandon and Leshal came over for dinner and a movie.

Weve been super busy with "life" these days and im very thankful its been good times but at the same time Im very ready for life to slow down and little. Im looking forward to the next few weeks. Although, I doubt they will slow down much either :)

Diablu

The other night Rylan and I were talking about his Papa. Im mad that I cant remember about what, thats why Im posting this now. Rylan of course remembers his papa but not quite like Jaiden. He doesnt talk or get as sad about him. He was so young. But he told me... Papa called me his DIABLU. He said it JUST like his papa used to too. It made me really glad that after almost 2 years Rylan remembers that. And I want to remember it forever, and so will papas DIABLU :)

Lovin Life

This little one still sits on the potty ALL THE TIME. She does numeorus times at school and at home. She will ask all the time and we take her (otherwise shes'll undress herself). Although she NEVER goes in the potty. It doesnt bother me still though. I think she looks adorable on the big 'ole potty and her tiny self.

Jaiden wanted to do a workout video the other night and I did not ;) So.. he figured he'd do some without me. I wish I wanted to workout that bad. haha

After the boys campout, Rylan kept "JUMPSTARTING" Kadence little 4-wheeler for her. So fun

Lately, I really enjoy having Rex around. The kids get annyed with him sometimes, but other times do some of this...

I still ABSOULTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE having a GIRL!! Its just soo much fun. I love getting her ready, It NEVER gets old to me.

Jaiden had a end of the year project. He had 2 tell his top 3 animals and then the teacher would pick which one he would do it on. He wound up with sharks. I was very simple. Needed atleast 1 picture and atleast 3 child written facts. They would present it in class as a speach grade. Jaiden told me his was one of the best one (Although, I think its because its a shark and thats what he likes because its nothing spectacular but im proud of how he made it turn out so well.)

The past 2 nights weve done a little yard work because the backyard was looking sad. We still need to plant 2 trees. The boys LOVED it.

Rylan had a fever and I brought him to work with me. He did not seem sick and got a little bored but did fairly well.I think he mostly likes the undivided attention.

Hahaha... Were to begin.. about 2 weeks before kadence turned 2 I started to work with her on her "New" age. NOT HAPPENING. This girl is DEAD SET that she is "free" (Three) I have NO idea on way. I got a dang cute video but blogger never lets me upload them. She goes on and on that she is free. I tell her no kadence your 2. She gets attitude and repeats free. This goes on and on. Weve ask her all the time, trying to teac hher 2. SHes never once said 2. Only 3. She eve nheld up 3. Although, she doesnt always.

Kadence has learned to like brushing her teeth. She even spits like the boys. Usually she brushes her teeth while I do her hair though and she tries to lean over to spit but spits on her own leg.

This boy can passout ANYWERE. I love finding him in random positions. I wish I could do the same.

On our little road trip to California, Jaiden decided to make lots of fart noises. Of course sister caught on super fast, but found a way cooler way to do it. :) Who does this??? Jaiden soon had his foot ot his mouth too. Atleast she'll be well rounded. haha

Kaelyns First Communion

Our Beautiful Neice Kaelyn had her First Communion on May 22nd, 2011. She was Gorgeous. She looked like a little Angel in her white dress. Im glad we were able to make it for her big day, even though we only were there for about 24 hrs.

After the Communion we went to the cemetary.

And then back to the house for some YUMMY food. They had a caterer come for the big event and as everyone waited patienty Rylan just couldn't :) he walked up to man and asked him for some. He was sweet and dished Rylan a plate. Too Funny!!

Soo much SHEDDING!!

Rex is a Husky and lives in VEGAS!! Obviously the dogs gunna shed a ton come summer. But really, I had no ides. I grew up with Rottweilers, that were always outside as well. Soo. last summer when this happened I was disguished and in shock. I think I just love this dog that it doesnt bother me now. Of course its still nasty but, I dont hate it. And its become sort of FUN actually.

Hell shed all summer of course but not THIS bad. He had a realy bad spurt and were in it now. I decided every monday while watching "HOUSE" ill brush him, that was I dont forget.

Oh, theres is NO forgetting now. Last night we got home from California and he looked bad. His fur literally looks like its uneven because of all the hair coming out. So I strated pulling it out with my fingers, and the boys joined me.

(This much pulling out was AFTER the brushing as well)
It was like a game to see who could get the most. Rex loves the attention too.

Eventually I decided I needed the brush and heres the pile I wound up with.
I know, again, its groww but its almost fun to see HOW MUCH we can get.

I brushed him just last Monday.

And heres me rubbing him for about 1 min, AFTER being brushed.

WORD TO THE WISE.. If you hate shedding, DO NOT BUY A HUSKY IF YOU LIVE IN VEGAS.

H2X Extreme Watersports

Friday night my parents took all the family (who lives here) to this show they show South Point was having. They bought the tickets the day before so its really lucky everyone was available. I was exciting because I knew id love it .. but the boys even more. And.. THEY DID. It was a lot of fun. It started with just races and after the intermission it got good. All the tricks and flips.. who knew you could do a back flip on one of these things. THanks mom and Dad for bringing us all.

Pre-School Grad

Rylan has been in a little Pre-Sschool program at the daycare. Last night they had their graduation. It was fun! They sang us some song they have learned and got little diplomas. He got to keep his "science suit" and hat and tassle. Hes so excited for Kindergarden.

This is Ms. Debbie.. Rylan LOVES her to pieces. She the one teacher that he has had constant since we started a year ago. Others weve loved and have come and gone but he REALLY loves her. Im so glad shes stuck around.

On a similar but side note:
Rylan came home the beginning of this week saying he only has one friend at school. It kinda broke my heart seeing my baby sad and left out. Rylan is serious SO fun, and not just in a moms eyes. He is going to make people happy, seriously!! But, at the same time hes a little shy around kids his age. He talks to them but is like his mamma, is bad at going out of his way to make those friends. So once I got to talking to him I knew that was the problem. No one was picking on him or being mean or not wanting to play. They were just doing there own thing and he wasnt including himself. So we talked about how he needs to ask them to do stuff, like hey, come play this, ect. So last night after the graduation, he came home and told me he had made lots of friend that day. He named about 5 kids. He had gone out of his way to do so. Im so proud of him for going out of his shell and hope he continues to be more like his daddy and not his mama ;)

Father and Sons Campout

Every year my dad and brother or all the son in laws head out to the churchs father and sons. This year only ended up being My Dad, Pete and my boys, Adam, and Gary and his Father in Law. My boys wont stop talking about it. Ive realized that when the girls arent there the boys have more fun (hmm.. wonder why? >> maybe they a littel more leanant or let them do more craziness haha) Anyways..

heres some of what went down from Jaiden and Rylan point of view.

** They drove the little quad ALOT. But after Rylan on crashed into Adams Jeep, only Jaiden drove and Ry rode on the back.
**They shot Grandpas gun
**The Tv exploded (A problem with a fuse and the thing literally caught fire inside and blew out a ton of smoke, everything/one is fine..excpet the Tv)
**Dad shot Uncle Gary in the butt with the pellet gun from on ly 6 ft away..not cool dad. and he got a big welt. not cool dad.
**They saw a mine and Threw Ry over the fence to grab a rock
>> Doesnt this trip sound dangerous. No wonder they had so much fun
**They roasted marshallows
*** Shot the potato gun
** Pete show his gun

Pete and the boys had a BLAST ..literally. All the guys had a great time. Pete even thanks me for making him go. Although he actually wanted to this year since Grandpa has a cozy trailer.

** Oh yea, and Ry got mamma home sick. Kept waking up in the night crying for me. :) Love it!! Really, I love that he missed me. Makes a girls feel loved.

Rubber Gloves

The great thing about having a sister who doe hair, and not in a salon. Is that she comes to me, around my schedule and we dont have to worry about a sitter... KINDA ;)
Pete is more than willing to be home, and hes normally great at helping with the kids. But you then put 2 guys together. Pete and Brandon, and they want to play video games. Or, like last night. Pete was alone with 4 kids to tend to. He had been working all day in the cold and hail. So, Im not bashing on the hubby at all. Just laughing at us girls trying to do hair while our little ones want their mammas atteniton. It pretty interesting really. Well yell for Pete and hell come get the kids but they always find there way back. TOwards the end, there not to happy. So, we found a small solution. Fill the rubber gloves with water and tub dye. Watch 'em play. Lesh does this for Matix during his baths. They LOVED it. THe boys layed with them this morning in their bath too :) Fun idea for any kid distrations for all you moms :)

Girls Night!

This last weekend the boys had their Father and Sons Campout (although they dithed the ward, a seperate post to follow). We all met up at Sherees Work pool to have a picnic and swim. The kids had a blast.

AfteR Lindsey and I had to run home for a few things. On the way back to my moms I saw a huge accident, right were Lindsey would be driving. I was really hoping it wasnt her. Thankfully it was not. lShe ended up showing up late to the house though because she missed the accident by inches and stayed as a witness. CRAZY!

I really wasnted to learn how to make homemade jam so we did that and watched Tangled. Grandma Dulaney came over too. We finally put the little ones to bed around 10:30p and stayed up talking till about midnight. I had to wake up Kadence at 9:30a because I knew shed be so thrown off. It was awesome ;) compared to our normal 5:30-6am. We made waffles with our jam and made plans.

We were off to feed the ducks. The kids loved it.

And then over to the park.

After we came back to my moms. Put the kids down and layed in the backyard trying to get a tan. Too bad it was really overcast and not much tanning actually went down.

We ended the day with the boys coming home. Headed to Crystal and Ryans to help them move :( BOO!! and then we took the kids to see Thor in the Drive In Movies.

Long.. FUN day!

COWABUNGA DUDE

Rylans been talking about having a party for a few months now. So I had to push aside my party pooper tendancies and pull one off for him. BUT, I stress out throwing a party with all the parents and siblings. Its much more expensive, stressful, plus, I dont have the time to focus on the party boy because Ill talking to others. So.. I did, for my first time ever, a drop off the kids party! MY FAVORITE NOW!! I mean BIG fan. I didnt mop my floor or scrub my toilet to be super clean. Shoot, I even got a nap a hour before the party.

Soo, Hes how the party played out.

Most of the kids were from church. All old enough boy cousins live out of state :(
Daycare kids were out.. because, Lets be honest. I wouldn't drop off my 5 yr old at a strangers house.
And soccer, Well.. 2 of the boys were from church, So we settled on JUST church.
We had 9 boys total (2 were ours :))
When they arrived, we had coloring time. That kept them entertained for a while.

We had Pizza just like the Ninja Turtles. And Ice cream Cake. My mom came to help me out.

The MAIN EVENT of the evening was turning into Ninja Turtles. Soo glad I took the effort to do this. I had bought plain white under T-shirts and dyed them Green. Then I cut material into strips (4 ninja turtle colors). I had the boys sit on the couch in the family room with me mom and One by One the boys came through the tunnel into the front room were tehre werent seen. And picked which color turtle thay wanted to be. Then they crawled back through and came out showing off some serious ninja moves. This was AWESOME!! most the boys got REALLY into it. Soo fun! My mom played do as im doing with the waiting kids. This was by far the hit of the night.

Rylan opened ihs presents and got lots of fun stuff.

We made some slime, like down in the turtles sewer, but I didnt need any enemies so I did not send it home with the kids. :) It was pretty messy!

And the boys were non-stop playing throughout this all. No one wanted to stop for food/cake/ or presents. So Im glad I didnt plan games.

I think the kids had a blast and I know RYLAN did. 2 of the moms at church told me the next day the boys had so much fun and said it was the best party EVER :) Im glad.
