Wet n wild

We have been to wet n wild probably 6 times already.

I'm Loving this age as I sit and lay out majority or the time while the kids rub and play.

I enjoy getting in also but the water is still pretty cold and I love the feel the sun pounding down on me. So relaxing and with work stress lately it's my break for sure!

Rylan

Just gotta post a bit about Rylan.
Ry has always been my easy going middle child.
People pleaser.

The past month or two he also seems to be growing up.
Jaiden got kinda whiny as he entered puberty and Rylan just likes to push your buttons and be a funny guy..
I'm wondering if these changes are coming with puberty for him..

He really knows how to work our nerves and need with us and his siblings.

He's still is my baby and can be sweet as ever but he knows how to push my buttons!

Growing Big Jai

Jaiden is 13.5 and the past month he just gets older and older.
He's totally content with living in his own bubble in the car and I have to tell him ringer off his phone and be "here".

Pete reminds me he's getting to that age and I have to understand that..
Just gets me sad as they get older.
Don't get me wrong.. he's not a brat teenager or totally distant. Just growing up.

If I asked him to cuddle me he would do it in a heartbeat and most nights he still comes and kisses me goodnight..

He's got serious armpit hair and has shaves his mustache 3 times now.
Also he totally getting muscle definition in her chest and arms.

Basketball Banquet

The Middle School Combined all their sports and did a "sports banquet".
They had cafe rio and announced all the kids.

Glad the boys had fun playing ball and making good friends.
Can't wait for Next year. They will have a new coach as this year's resigned.
.so well see how they do.

Kool Aid Hair

We had a free night when the boys played ball.
I guess we were bored
..Kool Aid dying it was.

Kadence had to sit like this for 1 HOUR, but since she knew what the end result was she didn't complain at all.

I lasted about 3 days.

Skate Park

The boys go through these kicks were they want to go to the skate park ALL THE TIME.
The closest one is Desert Breeze and.take 25 min to drive there.
It's like a whole night ordeal.

Well I saw a friend lost about Blue Diamond Park.. it's been about 4 years since went to their skate park.

I decided for a quick night we would try it out.

10 min drive and the place is private
We went 4xs in 7 days.

One day 1 sat in the car and paid my bills. and another i jogged around.

The boys like it and I like how close and non-city it is. (fyi.. I LIVE in a city, but am not much of a City Girl.haha )

Warm Springs

Our stake had a Luau at Warm Springs.
always fun but I prefer less crowds...so did the kids.
Totally worth the drive though for a fun night.

Latelys

Kadence LOVES TO do her tricks. Really, she LOVES if someone if watching the best though;)

Rylan had a RANDOM allergic reaction. 

I happened to go watch Basketball practice this day. 

The gym has been laying new floors, and I has to go by the office to upload a video project for Kadence school project. 

So we're at practice and Pete's helping coach since they are short coaches. 

Rylans hands start itching. He goes to wash them..not sure what it is. 

Comes out saying he's itching everywhere. 

I realize I don't have my benadryl in my purse.  

We're leaving to get some at Walgreens. Jai and Pete stay. Rylan starts saying he's short of breath some so we rush. 

I drive down blue diamond thinking  er. is on one side and Walgreens in orher. If I can just get benadryl he'll be fine and I won't have a $500 bill...but if he gets worse were going to the E.r

I get to walgreens. Get the benadryl and give it to him. 

We wait for 10 min and he's not getting worse. 

Office/grandma is 5 min away. 

We head that way to relax and do Kade project till we need to get the boys. 

Greg was there and have Rylan a priesthood blessing. I cried feeling relieved. 

I've realized a few times recently  (Pete er. visit that i can stay calm when needed but once the "emergency"has passed and someone else is near to lighten my load..  I do feel a release of emotions and cry ;)

He took a nice long shower and wanted to stay while I went back for the boys. 

When I came back they were watching a movie in robes :)  Grandmas are the best!

Oreos milk and movie night as a family

Jaiden is NOT very hard to wake up in the morning. 

He's been on a Xbox kick and I'm sure he stayed up late a few too many nights.

This.mirning I went to kiss him goodbue...he was back asleep cuddling our pup

Haha..  this girl!! She's my bestie!!

Pete is not a fan of macayos. 

I do love me some chips and salsa and tct that's about all I like. 

I've come to realize it got good family memories and bow as an adult is my besties go to spot for dinner and that's ALWAYS a good time. So I think it's all of it combined I love. 

We stiffed ourselves and Pete and I decided we won't go back ;)  WE always feel AWFUL for hours after from over eating. 

These boys really are the best at times!!!

No cavities for Kadence!!!  Horray. Smoothie as a treat. 

Work has been EXTRA stessful. We're growing. We had a tech break his ankle. And we are way busier then a typical April. 

Pete and I Have both been beat but I decided to surprise Pete with some gifts. 

He's borderline on a few love languages but gifts always make him happy :)
