So.Dang.Busy

Hot spot and laptops saving us these days! 

Dermatologist appt- I got some skin cancer froze and she was happy they didn’t cut the mole off her head yet.  She also has to watch a male doctor look me over mostly naked and was like.. up that was super weird. I explained that’s his job... he was checking for other spots of cancer.  Poor girl ;) 

Kadence got her 11 year old shots. 

We waited in the waiting room, then in the actually room. They come check her out and we wait again. Finally they come in for the shots and this girls asks we’re the bathroom is 😂😂.   I was dying. 

I told her now they left and we gotta wait again. We did for 15 more min- I asked if it was a nervous pee and she said yea- I also gave myself a pep talk!! 

Hahaha. This girl! Love her!!

This ring is NOT my wedding ring. I had lost mine for 2 while months and bought a fake one in the meantime.. thankfully later this day I was cleaning out my purse and found it in there (must have fallen in the torn crack) 💕💕💕.  Sooooo happy!!!  

Pete’s eye appt- he’ll be getting surgery in December- more in that later

After some cyrotherapy (freezing) for my skin cancer - basal * just in time for family pics in 4 days ... good thing it’s on the side of my face

 Life feels so super busy for me right now 

I guess during summer I out off all the appts (which is typical for me in A/C) and now.. we’re all slammed in October 

I know I’ll forget stuff but.. 

October has been full of “honey do’s):

Truck repairs, tire repairs, garage repair, cleaning trailer, delivering a deer tag to Pete’s work, deliver a dead deer to the butcher) baby shower gift and party for Pete do worker 

Along with 3 dental appts, 2 eye appts, 2 dr appts (all different stays and times for schedules) 

2 dermatologist appts and more eye and ortho appts Ahead this month!!! 

I’m exhausted.. for reals! 

Distance learning on top is no bueno, but has been nice during the appts ;) 

Last Saturday I got a full on my nails and lashes and was super thankful for some me/down time. 

Bonus

 Pete got news of bonus at work he would be getting... 

I surprised him that night with a fancy dinner out to one of his favorites that we haven’t been to in years 

Herbs and Rye

 I never posted about our garden 

Our very first successful garden 

I had gotten some tips and tricks from Crystal and I fell in love with the drip hose. 

We had a ton of tomatoes 

Our carrots and basil did well also. 

Pretty sure we planted some other things but they were once trampled by the dog and didn’t do well after that. 

Life has gotten a lot busier and fall garden just didn’t happen but hopefully by spring we will be ready again!

Projector Movie Night

 While Pete and Jai were gone on their hunt me and Rylan and Kadence spruced up the backyard some (fake trees— yes.. dang dogs!) and lights around the shade and pressure washing the grass

The weekend before we got some more rocks because our were super scarse (Grey was a huge help to Pete and Kadence hailing them in the yard).. boys were at basketball. 

We had my family over for a Halloween movie night outdoors. 

And me and the kids did a few movie nights leading up that too 💕

Jaiden got a deer

 Jaiden pulled a buck tag.. and no one else did 

So he got a lot of extra support tagging along to help him out. 

They went up Thursday mid day toward Ely, got a doe (didn’t see ANY buck) by Friday evening and made it home by Saturday night. 

Who went: 

Pete, Jaiden. Orlando, Alberto, Victor, David 

G let them use his side by side and they said it was a lot warmer and way dustier this year! They weren’t huge fans of that. 

Pete forgot the tag at home and I had to bring to his work for his co-worker Cory to bring when he was headed up. 

Then I forgot the tag when dropping off the deer to the butcher and Pete has to bring later that night. 

Dang tag!!  Haha 

Jaiden had a blast and DID not drink- the guys they went with are drinkers and wanted to mess with his mama ;) 

So no antlers- but he brought home the meat. (Junior tags can default to a doe) 

McWilliams Campground

 Well..  I love to camp.. and life is too busy for Pete to camp much right now ;). 

We own a trailer but haven’t used it in a whole year- Pete and Jai are going to be hunting this year, but I really wanted to get my camping fix before it gets too cold. 

Also, it was a good excuse to get it cleaned up and make sure everything was working good. 

Soo.. we booked a one nighter up on Mt. Charleston (sadly we have never camped there). It’s a campground only which is new for us.. and no fires were allowed but we had a quick little get away. 

The day had a TON in little bugs that Pete and Rylan were not fans of at all. But they went away in the evening and morning. 

We played some games, ate and relaxed.
