Pete and I just celebrated our 3 year Anniversary this past Friday June 20th. I cant believe has time flys =D He had a great surprise planned all out for me but by the time it came around I pretty much kne weverything he had planned. He had a plane flight and hotel room set for San Fransisco on our Anniversary. His parents would be picking up the kids and keeping them for the weekend. He had planned on taking me from work to go to lunch and not coming back. All in all it pretty much worked about the same.. I just knew it all. We had sooo much fun. I had a lot of first also.. First taxi, trolley, dark alley, alkatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, walk through a real city, saw some sea lions, ate some alligator, Golden Gate Park. Saturday was hot and we did some shopping and went to Fishermans Wharf. We ate at a cute little place for breakfast with GREAT weather. Then onto a little cruise that went under the GOlden Gate Bridge and Around Alkatraz ( I love the movie the Rock). Sunday was cold and we mostly walked around the Golden Gate park ( I was mostly locals and the sceanery was amzing) from Saturday to Sunday it seemed almost like 2 seperate vacations. I cant believe my husband planned all this on his own and Im soo glad he did. And I soo thankful for my in laws and how much they help watch the boys (They even took them to the circus..which im a bit jealous over =D )

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Fathers Day (One day later) to all your wonderful dads out there. I want to say I LOVE holidays like this when you stop to realise how great family is and how great our fathers and husbands are. Im so greatful to have wonderful men in my life. Pete is such and amazing dad to my boys and I couldnt be happier. Heres a few pictures of this special day!

Weekend With The Cousins..

This weekend Petes Sister was down from California so we pretty much spent the weekend at his parnets house. The boys had soo much fun playing with the cousins as usual. We took them to a park that had water and later walked the outlet Mall. By the end of the night they were exhausted and needless to say we all got a great nights rest.

Mtns. Edge Hike

I keep wanting to do the Mtns Edge hike with Pete and the boys. Leshal however had a night away from Brandon so we decided we would test it out first =D It was lots of fun and parts were definately a good work out, better than jogging the neighborhood anyday! It was a fun workout along with fun to hang out with my sister. We talked and talked and talked, came home and talked more. Were going to try to make it a regualr thing we do. Anyone who hasnt tried it should, but I wouldnt reccomend bringing a stroller, let the little ones walk or pack the real little ones in a snuggle thing. =D

Saturday Night

Saturday night was fun. Alisha had a date (Singles ward did like a prom night) so we got to do her hair all fun. We werent sure Celestial would be over in time but luckily she showed up in time becuase I was clueless about what we could do with her hair. So while Leshals huried we all hung out (Sheree, Alisha, Celestial and I). Leshal only had about 30-40 min to do it so we think It turned out pretty good, and Alisha loved it.. The boys were off in the other room watching the fight. Then we joined them. Jaiden and Rylan always think there a part of it and take off their shirts and fight and wrestle too but this time they were worn out from the pool earlier and dozed off. Time for Swimming

This was our first REAL swim of the summer, besides the Jacuzzi. The boys had a great time and Jaiden is all for it. He thinks he can swim and do everything all by himself. Although thats not quit right, he needs a little help and he CANT wander off like he likes. Ry on the other had did not want to leave our side which was great!! It was pretty packed their though So I hope we can find a different pool because Saturdays are really the only day we can take them and of course that doesnt help =( if not we dont mind too much and well be out swimming again.

The other day around bedtime the boys were playing in their room and I noticed it was QUIET..ODD =D.. So when I go to check it out, this is what I Found...




TOO AODRABLE.. Jaiden is such a big brother and always watching out for Rylan (Except when their fighting of course) But hes a great brother and big helper.

Last game of the season =(

Jaiden had his last soccer game of the season. Hes a little bummed and wants to sign up again and Pete of course agrees. I however dont know about summer league and our busiest time of the year.. so well see. We may just have to miss out on a few practice or games if its too much =D Soo heres a few pictures of his last game and at the little party after with his trophy (Which by the way he has slept with everynight since he got it).

20. How did you meet? We lifegaurded together @ Monte Carlo. We worked together for a few weeks before we actually talked. It was a rainy day and we got stuck together alone cleaning up the back and we really hit it off. The next day he asked me on a date =D

1st Denist Visit

We have notice over the past week or 2 Rylans front tooth has slowly turned more and more brown. Hes so wild and constantly hitting his mouth or other things so were not sure exactly when he would have wacked it hard enough to kill the nerve but we were sure that was what happened (Since the same thing happened to me when I was about 12 and I had to get a root canal and bleaching). Since it is his baby tooth we werent sure what procedure they would take but figured we better get it checked out. So Friday I took the boys, he was soo excited and I kept asking him to show his teeth like he would the doctor. Once we were back he wasnt QUIT E so anxious but did well considering the doctor has great experince working with kids. She said since its not wiggling or infected the protocall is to leave it alone. It will eventually fall out (around 6) and a new tooth will grow in like normal. Im a little relieved he wont need a root canal but a little bummed that his poor tooth will be dark for half his child hood =( ... Although my sister in law knows someone whos kids had the same thing and they pulled his tooth and now hes got a GAP for yrs. All choices stink if you ask me but thats the way it goes for now.

Cheeburger Cheeburger...

Pete keeps driving by this place and has been wanting to go, so yesterday after finishing grocery shopping @ 7pm we decided to go there instead of get something like Del Taco that we had planned =D It looked like a little bar place soo we were just gunna get to go. Pete walks in and walks back out and tells me " I think you would like it here, maybe we should eat in". So we decided to. It is a cute little 50's looking place. With neon lights and all. It has basic food.. Cheesburgers, Salads, fries, Onion rings, and Shakes... But they had like SOOOO much things you can mix up. Like a50 Different flavors you can mix and match in a shake or ice tea or lemonade. And then the burgers have like 30-40 things you can pick your own toppings they way you want >> No extra charges for it. It was soo yummy and not bad price either. Definately a new favorite in our book!! and the boys too, they got to take home the cute little cars> Like Bubba gump shrimp boats =D

Lucky Me =D

So after my weekend away>> This is what a came home too =D My favorite flowers (Which I first got from Pete) and a card saying Im appreciated!! I love random, sweet things like this.... And i love vacations away, I think my husband may have fallen in love with me all over again. Maybe not but it sure seems soo this week. I have to say I LOVE that I can leave town and know my husband can handle it and dont have to worry. I love him soo much and am soo grateful for the man I get to be with. Hes amazing and I think I need to let him know that I appreciate HIm a little more.

Shes a College Grad!!

This weekend was one to CELEBRATE. =D One on my best friends Tara Staley Graduated from Colorado State University. She has always been SOO involved in swimming and had recieved a full ride scolarship from it. Its going to be soo weird seeing her not swimming (What??!?!?! No swimming) and actually having a JOB!! Haha. In high School we had "the Girls" which consisted or tara, tara ,amber, and ash. We decided we ALL better be there for this exciting event!! Soo we booked of flights and room months ago... And as they day got closer we all got more excited!!! Its been hard staying soo close as we use to be and now with amber and me married and kids and away to school and all of it!! Soo it was a chance to hang out, not worry about being home to kiss the boys good night or whatever!! just us being US =D ... We had soo much fun and im soo glad we went. We made carmel popcorn, went to the mall, took naps, walked outdoor shopping, went to an ice cream shop.. and MORE =D Soo as were out shopping ash sees BRIGHT GREEN fake eyelashed asd decides were all gunna sport CSU colors.. So we all wore them to the graduation and Tara loved it. We did get our fair share of stares though!! All in all lots of fun.. AND , I can say (Not sure if proudly or not) but I did not cry for my boys for my first trip EVER!! Pete is an amazing daddy and I knew they were having a blast with out me too!!

Short Vacation..

This weekend was another busy one. Friday I took the day off >> It was Rylans ACTUAL birthday =) My babys 2 Wow!! Most of the day we spent running errands, packing, oil change>> All to get ready for when Pete got off work to head to california. I of course forgot to grab the Movie car charger and it wasnt already charged. So the trip up wasnt great, but it wasnt horrible =) When we got there we unloaded and head off to "THE HAT" one of my favorite places to eat.. they have great, huge pastrami sandwiched =) Yummy!! Then back to the house. Nina and Nino got a Jumper for the next day and it was there that night. So the boys and their cousins all played for a while. Then off to bed =)

Pete & I stayed up and watched National Treasure 2 (Yep a guy on the side of the road had movies for sell, so we had to buy and few that are still in theatres =/ ) It was really good! The next morning we were up and going. Getting ready for Jacobs first communion (My nephew, and the main reason we went to Cali) The boys were OK =) Ry fell asleep.

After that it was on to watch Jacobs baseball game. That was lots of fun seeing him and the weather was great!! Then home fore naps and after family was over for some yummy food. My sister in Law Crystal made cute little cupcakes that looked like basketballs for Rys B-day and they had a HUGE basketball pinata (Ry could fit inside im sure=) )
The next day MOTHERS DAY!! hOPE everyone had a wonderful day. We went to Bubba Gumps for some good food. And the walked around Long Beach. It was nice, I thought Ive never been there but come to find out my Uncle lives there and Ive been a few times but its been a while. The boys had a blast getting wet and dirty =) and I got my cute pictures haha. We drove straight on home. It was a very short trip but PACKED with fun. Hopefully next time will be able to stay longer. Jaiden was so upset to leave his Nina and Jacob.
