This was technically suppose to be the kids Spring Break so I didn’t make them do any learning time.
They had a lot more electronics time this week. It also was cloudy and cooler this week so we didn’t get outside as much as I would have liked, but it was nice to relax more.
We watched the Larsen Twins Tuesday from 10-6
We colored Easter eggs
We dyed Easter Eggs
I followed Jaiden across Blue Diamond so that he could ride the quad.
We baked some and played some Ping Pong
We payed some Sequence and Spoons... Spoons is the family favorite right now.
Saturday Pete took us out to a hike near Inspirada in Las Vegas. About a 30 min drive from home.
Petroglyph Trail Canyon. It should be a 4.4 mile hike but the main road is closed to it because of Covid 19 so we ended up walking an additional 1 1/2 round trip miles to get to the trail head.
Rylan complained at the beginning and Kadence some as we hiked up hill but after about 1/2 way through they all started to really get along and enjoy it and each other. This is pretty typically for our hikes and one reason I like to get the kids out. They really enjoy each other in certain circumstances.
It took us 2.5 hours and was 5.7 miles total.
We all came home to shower and relax.
Sunday was Easter and we had crepes. Watched Church on Tv
Relaxed and napped. Took the dogs out for a walk.
My parents stopped by so we ended up feeding them dinner and going for a walk.
The Sanders dropped of Resurrection eggs for us and we read those to end our Easter Evening.
