Dentist

Soo Jaiden has been complaining about his teeth hurting and now we have dental insurance so I took the boys for cleanings and X-rays!! My poo child> Jaiden has 7>> yes.. thats right> 7 cavites (I dont even think ive have that thought out my life, the doctor said some people just have really bad teeth no matter how much you brush =( and Rylan has 2 teeny ones. So Jaiden obviously needs to split those appointments into 2 and then one for Rylan. 3 visits total> yes, im breaking it down for a reason. So now they have this new thing were they gas the kids and there half out of it so its better for them and the dentist> NICE right, Oh except for the fact that insurance doesnt cover it and between those 3 visits that alone was going to cost me $525 WHAT> im paying $1000 dollars for my toddlers horrible teeth already. So I started thinking about it and thought> Ok what if I get the Dentist to do it without and I BRIBE (OH YEA.. MY FAVORITE) my children that if they can make it through with just the shot they get to pick out a good toy (about $30) and Ill save a butt load of money (eh, $500>> but that enough for me). So I did it. Rylan made it though his first shots in the mouth and 2 tiny but not so fun cavities. He cried during the shots but did rather well. The first cavity took literally like 1 min the drill and fill, and the 2nd one the dentist started putting in clamps and stuff Rylan DID NOT like>> thatnkfully I was able to talk him down from his freaking out and we got through it. Rylan was NOT liking the numbing feeling that took a while to fade off but he was super excited for his Buzz light year wings. Jaiden hoepfully will get through his next week and the following.

9 months!

Kadence is now 9 months old! I cant believe how big shes gotten. Today she was suppose to go for her shots but yesterday she was sick so I swapped for a sick appt. Shes got a ear infection and a simple cold. She 19 1/2 lbs.

-Kadens=ce still wont crawl>> Shes mastered rolling and can get all over so I think she'll be waiting a while longer. (Fine by me =) )
- She now say dada and hi (while she waves her hand> Cutest ever)
-She loves her food and snacks
-She now can pick up teeny things but its so adorable, she doesnt use her whole hand to grab, she pokes out her pointer finger and touches whatever it is she wants, and drags it back to her hand to grip.
-She is NOT a cuddler. Notice I have a picture of her laying on me, I MADE pete take one just so I have one. Ever since she was tiny she gets so mad if you lay her on your chest. At church its horrible because she wont go to sleep with me holding her. My boys were huge cuddlers so this is a change>> and I DONT LIKE IT!!
-She wakes up extremely happy. If you pick her up while in a dead sleep shell start smiling before opening her eyes.
-She loves being spoiled!


Oh yea!! cant forget this new thing>> She throw little fits. If shes sitting on the ground and you leave, or she tired or whatever.. she put her head to the ground between her knees with her little body folded in half and just cry like that.

Lots of Rain!!

Its been raining alot here lately.. the boys are loving it. I love it (except for the part the my housebroken dog decides he doesnt want to go out IN THE RAIN to potty so he does it inside. They went out one day while Rylans still in his Pjs (Check out his cute tiny butt... its so cute in pajamas)

P90x

So Pete and I are jumping on the banwagon with so many of you out there doing P90X. We have friends who got us the cds months ago and we did 1 or 2 workouts and quit. Well, Im going to Hawaii in 2 months so Im getting motivated. Today will be our 2 day WOOHOO right. I know many more to go and I hope we stick to it.. but this post isnt about us. Its about my boys (especially Jaiden) who LIKES to do workout videos. He stuck with me for about the first 20 minutes of Plymetrics =) haha. Swinging his short legs over the stool and all. Too stinking cute. He'll randomly be laying on the floor and start doing crunches. Hes soo funny. I had to put a few pictures up. Disregard me in the pics =)

Snow Summit- Snowboarding

2 Weekends ago Pete, Me, Celestial, and Brandon went up snowboarding. We were suppose to go with the friends but we wound up going to the opposite side of the mountian to Snow Summit instead of Big Bear on accident ( my fault- I put snow summit into the GPS, I saw it on the big bear website and its wasnt finding big bear-- oops!) We had a ton of fun! I thought since I havent been in about 2 years since last year I was pregnant I thought id have to learn it over again- but I did pretty good. The last run of the day me and my sister switched boards and that threw me off BAD!! I fell super hard 3 times in a row- I still have bruises to show for it. Cant wait till next year to go again (Were think were going to take Jaiden =) )

Sleeping Dog!!

My realtor sent me this email saying it reminded her of me (I have 4 kids 3 days out of the week with my neice Jade). Ive heard it before but think its so cute!


Sleeping Dog



An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard.
I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.

He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head;
he then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the
hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.


An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.

The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour.
This continued off and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is
and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'

The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar:
'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 - he's trying to catch up on his sleep.
Can I come with him tomorrow?'

Our New Puppy!!

My mother in law stole my two boys off to California this weekend to go vistit their cousins for Greysons Birthday!! Pete and I definately enjoyed it/missed them (its been a while since Ive been away from them at night, and they were gone 3!!! Anyways.. My family has all been wanting a puppy and I keep saying.. Once were in a house. Well I guess I must of got a little stir crazy not having people to rely on me and I got a little puppy hungry. Pete came home from a job on Saturday and I said.. Lets go buy a puppy. Of course he didnt hesitate before I changed my mind. So far.. im still happy we got him. Hes 9 wks. old and gorgeous. Hes great with the kids. So far housebreaking is not miserable either... but they say it can be 14 days. The boys were real excited to come home to him this afternoon and they are LOVING him.

Magical Forest

This year we took the kids to the Magical Forest at Opportuniy Village. My sister had volunteered there so she gave us free tickets. The boys had fun seeing all the lights and getting cool light up santa hats!!

Bungee

I have a friend who has a bungi cord in the middle of the living room. me and my sister had an abosulte blast on it. I LOVED it.

Jaidens Birthday Fun!!

Jaiden Jesse is 5 years old as of yesterday. I know people say times flys, and It does.. but at the same time I feel like soooo much has happened in this time. Maybe its because the most important times of my life have been since this precious boys joined our lives. I love him sooo much. He is mr. boss but the biggest sweet heart ever. He has become such a big helper to me and whith his siblings. He loves his sports and anything boy.. He loves guns and playing guns. He loves camping and acting like camping. He loves palying hard.


This year Jaiden didnt care all that much to have a birthday with friends. He mostly wanted his cousins which of course at this age are his best friends. He has cousins either here or California and since he sees the ones here more we did a party in California. We did simple cake and presents and pinata. He had alot of fun and so did we. We love you Jaiden.

Disneyland

We took a trip to California, we were planning on Disneyland on Saturday but before we left we saw it was going to be raining so we decided against it but then once we got their Friday wasnt going to be as bad so we went then. It worked out perfect. Lines were short and it only SPRINKLED>> im talking mist mostly> and the tempertaure was great. Were glad we went. The boys had a blast, Kadence was an Angel and I got lots of great pictures! Rylan was even got on Thunder Mountain and Madahorn. We had a ton of fun!

Bunk Beds

Santa brought an early Christmas Present!! Bunk Beds!! Every kid should have a bunk bed... or atleast every parent should get that extra space.. which was what I wanted. So now the boys have more room in their room which is also their toy room so it was much needed.

Dulaney Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving with my moms side of the family was a little different than our usual Thanksgiving so I wanted to make sure I posted about it. My Grandpa brought poles and taught us all how to make these yummy treats. Like roasted marshmallows but instead you wrap biscuits around the pole, roast them and then pour pudding down the middle. The kids had a blast making them and eating them even more. Thanks Grandpa for showing us something fun and new.
