Jaiden’s first job

Jaiden got his first job.
Lifeguarding at Wet n Wild

During the school year his health teacher told his class that wet n wild hires at 15.5
So he kind of had that in mind for a summer job.
Then come spring his friend who is only a month older than him posted on Snapchat that she got hired as a lifeguard.
So he reached out to her.

Anyways I helped him with a resume and he submitted an application.
He ended up having to do about 40 hours of lifeguard and cpr training down at Unlv.

Then opening season was getting closer and he had a hour of training.
He also had a full day of training scheduled and then we went into lockdown because of Covid 19
For 3 months he did not work.
He did get a paycheck for his one hour he put it .

Haha

Thankfully we are now opened back up and he is working 25-30 hours a week.
I usually have to leave work for 1 hour a day to get him there and am super thankful for a flexible job even In our busy season.

Him hacking a job has added a little extra stress and business to me..
But the benefits in our option are so worth it.
Pete and I both had jobs at young ages and are both hard workers because of it.
Earning and managing money at a young age is really important to each of us, for our kids to learn.

Jaiden comes home tired but is happy about a pay check.
He is meeting new friends and breaking up his days.

We’re proud of our boy for putting in the work!
