Mini Boat Session

Jed & Ashley have a boat..technically ash moms :)

 

 

 Sunday Jed & Ash were taking the boat out after the maintenance on it. It was there first trip out. Pete had tools he needed to pick up. Whe nwe went over Jed invited us. I told him if they wanted to go alone we obviously wouldnt care but we were going if we got invited :)


The kids so soo super excited!!

 Jaiden and Rylan got to drive the boat.  We took it over by the Dam.

 Kadence was a little scared a first and wanted to be held. I think the next time out when the sun is shining shell be in heaven.

 And just one more from a few weeks back. These crazy kids all climbed in the dog box in the back og Jeds truck!   Were Soo glad we have awesome friends who love the outdoors like we do! And that they love our crazy bunch to!

Easter Egg Hunt

 

 

Family Fun last night for a Picnic and Easter Egg Hunt.

 

Pete was holding Autumn..Petes not huge on holding other peoples babies (pretty sure its a most guys thing) So I went to grab Autumn.... nope, she didnt whine or pull away. So leshal tried. Nope. Even Alisha who babysitts her all day now..nope. Not even Daddy. I had to snap a picture cause I thought it was too cute. Later I caught him holding Brynn too..... :) Baby hungry ..TOTALLY kidding but it really is out of the norm for Pete.

 

Living Outdoors

If I could live outdoors..I just might do it.    I refuse to be inside once im home after im stuck in an office all day. Our weather has been way to good to pass up.

 

Between Parks, Walks, Bike Rides, and back yard fun we might as well jsut live outdoors.

Kona Lovin

Granny has a new puppy Kona. We watched her for a week and a half while she went to California. Kona may havve been a little spoiled ;)   Jaiden treated her like a baby.  Ry cuddled her tons.  I taught her a few tricks. Pete got a her a bird feather..yup! Kadence let her chew her hair...  haha ..really though, the girl couldnt lay on the ground.

 

Anyways we loved her to peices and will have  to visit Granny lots to take her on walks and love on her some more.

 

Jaiden slept the last week with her so he is gladd to get some goodnights sleep though.

Could you tell we love her lots!

Rise of the Guardians

The boys had " Dress up as your favorite magical character"  just a day or 2 before we had just watched Rise of the Guardians. The boys both wanted to be the Easter Bunny!

 

Kadence helped make a pair to wear during breakfast!

 

 

St. Patricks Day

The boys made Leprachaun traps again this year for school. However, Jaiden came home with his the same day because he didnt have to make one :)  Oh well.. we kept that one to try and cathc that sneaky guy that came last year.

 

He CAME AND WENT AGAIN!!  That sneaky guy totally messed up our kitchen too. Knocked over chairs, opened cabinets and drawers. He even left behind a picture from last year him peeing in the toilet with a little note on it.

 

 Ry thought he was too funny saying cant catch me :)

 Kadence still wasnt sure what to make of it all this year.

Little holidays are way more fun with kiddos!

We miss our Rexy!

Jan 12th 2013 we lost of dog Rex. It was really hard on our family. He was hit by a car and seemed fine as we took him home, only shaken up. We came home and soon realized he was not ok. Pete took him to the Vet since the kids were sleeping. He passed away in the car. We had to keep the boys home from school the next day. It was a really hard few days as we adjusted to not having our Rexy around. the boys walked around holding his collar and I hated hearing the jingle of his name tag. We bought our new truck partially to take him out. He died in that truck. Our kids have cried over and over again for him. We have Rex for 3 years. I honestly dont know if Ive ever felt heart break like that before. There were times that dog drove me nuts but mostly I loved him to peices. Especially the last year. He honesltly was apart of the family. Pete felt horrible for the kids and wanted to help ease the pain by getting a new puppy, but I still am not ready to replace him. Partially because I cant imagine going through that but with a dog youve owned for 10 or 25 years. We miss our pup like crazy!!
