Skate Night

It's been way too long since we had a skate night. 

This is the first time Gary and Alyssa came. 

It was fun. 

Kadence is still getting the hang of skating, she does ok in a hand me down pair but we forget them and one step is broke 

so we rented, and those ones are pretty slick so she had my hand all night. She woukd have done ok on her own I'm certian but Kadence is not my daredevil. 

Shell wait until I make her try something. 

I did, she wasn't having it. 

Although, she did get confident enough to start jumping (while holding my hand) but would never let go of my hand. 

The boys of course both skate really well by now. 

Rylan prefers roller skates and jai blades. 

We always have lots of fun and hopefully we'll be back at it again soon

On a side note.
On the drive there we stopped at a light in a bad part of town. In the dark.  A homeless man literally was Right outside.my door.
Like.. freak me out, get the heck away.
Noone around. :/

When the light finally turned green Jaiden started crying a few.min later cause he felt bad for him
he's knows I sometimes give money when I feel like I should.
I tried to explain we can't give to every one and that gis made me nervous.
Poor sweet boy just felt so bad for the "hun grrr y" man.
Like honestly guy, who's gunna open their window when you creep them out like that.

NEEDING a date!

You know, Im NOT one to flaunt my dirty laundry. 

I like to keep most my personal issues to myself. I dont like drama and I dont like conflict. 

That being said, I dont like to pretend I have a perfect life and that things are always fantastic. 

I love reading friend blogs or post that talk about the REality Of life. 

I had a friend over the other night who is pregnant, she was telling me that she DID NOT want another baby but felt like she really was suppose to have one. She said she kept trying to ignore it but couldn't. So they got pregnant. Shes about 6 months along. 

She cheerfully (not just moody drama) talked about how she doesnt liek babies, and she one of those moms that has to have a schedule so having a baby really messes up her life for alittle bit. 

I was just dying and told her how much I loved this.

People think all kinds of things, people struggle with things. 

i dont like telling people I got problems. 

BUT, i like the real. 

So the real is for 2 nights in a row Pete and I were arguing/disagreeing about multiple things. 

I didn't see either one of us getting to a middle point. 

and, Guess what, I have to go to work WITH my husband and pretend thins are fine and dandy. BOO .

So it was taking its toll. 

We needed a day to talk without the kids. 

 I asked my mom if we could BOTH take off  the day. 

We decided we needed fun and to resolve things. 

We had some fun, talked, more fun, talked. 

THANK YOU mama for letting us have a day date.
Its been FAR FAR too long.
We dont "date" enough and I know its super important and we need to make it a priority.

Dont worry anyone, my marriage is fine and things are resolved.

Its just rough working with your husband and trying to pretend were fine when really we were fighting. haha

Sleepover

Celestial invited all the girls and their kids over for a sleepover. 

Lindsey wasnt able to come but the rest of us VEGAS girls made it. 

It was a bit crazy for some of the time. We had lots of fun,

The kids fell asleep around 10p, except Jade, shes a party animal and stayed up almost as late us us. Making carmel popcorn, painting nails and playing funny games.. which are WAY funnier at 12am. 

We finally called it a night a 1am. 

The next morning we hit the skate park that is minutes from her house.

And then wondered over the this area for everyone to enjoy.

Late nights, park and basketball games means mom tries to prepare.
I left the park early cause I KNEW my kids would crash before Jaidens game.

haha.  I let them sleep in the parking lot for 45 min before the game. Planned well.

The boys made us our very first breakfast in bed AL by themselves. 

Cleaning up after themselves will come later ..right?

 I had a bad day and decided I Needed fun..plus Rylans been waiting for big hero 6 to come out.

We planned on dinner and a movie at south point. To bad there was a big rodeo and hr waits at every single food place..
exact the bowling alley. Bahaha.  Yea, little ghetto but that makes for memoties right!!

 Then off to the movie...

 Errand errands and more errands.
Dad was woring and I had Alot to get done.
Whicheck made for a bad mood mom when the kids were horrible.
Too many errands makes for bad kids?  I don't know.. but here was 1 enjoyable part of the oil change.

Rylan got a pumpkin spice doughnut the other day.. he loved it.
I've never made pumpkin pancakes so we tried it.
Yumm.. but harder to flip than regular.
Petes a butt and wanted regular so we abliged.. cause he's spoiled.

 Petes at a work training in California tonight.  These kids go homemade pizza with stuffed crust and their own bluebell ice creams.. cause there spoiled too !

Family Lake Day

We're planning on selling our boat. 

We lover the lake and all the fun that comes with it but because we're so busy in the summer it kinda puts a damper on getting it out. 

I spur of the moment said let take it out for atleast one last hurrah!! 

It's November but it was sunny and gorgeous and still. 

We could cruise around and fish. 

The kids wore their suits just in case.. thankfully because they ended up swimming alot. 

I turned the boat on before we left to raise the motor to drive... i forgot to turn the key off. 

So we had a dead battery and ended up just chilling at the shore.

We weren't too bummed though cause it was pretty perfect anyways. 

Cookie Class

Last Saturday I took a cookie class to learn how to make and decorate sugar cookies. 

I was feeling a little intimidated before it because Ambers a soo amazing 

it ended up being really fun and I loved learning and can't wait to make some fun cookies for the holidays.
