Gilcrease Orchard

We did our annual Gilcrease Orchards trip with Pete side of the family.
I turned cold and was much chillier than years past but not freezing.
We still really enjoyed it as always and enjoyed the yummy donuts, apple cider and kettle corn.
We also came home with lots of yummy produce.
Some years we don't eat it quick enough and Tank (our dog) even snagged our big cucumber and ran out back.. thankfully he didn't damage it. 
I quickly made a juice with some of it.
Also that night I roasted the carrots and beets. Yum!!! 

Rylan cut them locks

Rylan has been growing out a man bun for  MONTHS. he finally had a small pony but it still looked funny. He decide he was ready for change and he went super short.
A short cut like Pete had when we started dating. Pete took him to a barber because I did not dare to attempt it.

He loves it!

New Trampoline

This will be our 3rd trampoline in this house. We've have lived here about 8.5 years.

When the last one took a dump in the last big storm we decided we would wait to replace and see if we might switch it up.
After a few months of kids inside touch for our liking and the beautiful weather.
Also Kadence in tumbling we always is wanting a "spot" to practice.
We decided we would go one more round.
We anticipate it to hold up about 4 yrs with our bigs,the. we can revisit the next thing.
We also moved the basketball hoop pit back (it's been in the garage to pull out front but is used so little because of the hassle).

The past few days the kids have spent a couple hours a day out back and the kids even convince me (mom) to have a sleepout (kadence kade up) on it.

We bundled up and attempted but by 1a I called it quits.
Between our neighbors who watch TV all night with their windows open
Sirens and dogs, on top of far too much cuddles and squishing for me

Maybe another time...haha

Park Days

When Pete and Jaiden we gone on their hunt wade sure to get outside and enjoy the cooler weather!

Rylan and Kadence rarely agree on the same park and normally I am not one to give in the varied request..but I see both their sides.
Rylan like to practice basketball and the parks around us had small playgrounds when they have basketball hoops.
She we bounced.

Also the first picture is our Sam's club run... this girl is going to be the end of me in her teenage years. She definately has lots of drama in her. ahhhhhh.

Jaidens Hunt

Jaiden got his first deer.
Even before his daddy got his.

Grandpa wanted to be apart or it too so he was there. Along with Marco's and Josh Yarvis

Pete Jaiden and Marco's were on the 4 wheeler and then my dad and Josh come by after they had got it.

The plan was for Jaiden to come home with Grandma if they got one early and Pete would head off to his area and try for his tag..
Since Jaiden got his the very first day,Friday. He was not ready to go home.
Pete and Jai headed up with the guys and tried in Saturday but it rained a lot and was muddy.
They rolled the quad and Pete vent his scope so they headed home Sunday morning.
They had so much fun.

The meat is getting cut up at a butcher and I'm excited for our first venison dinner.

Fall Party with Cousins

Pete and Jaiden were out of town,so I figured why not have a kid party!!
We invited over the Tippetts and the Sanders (and Jax but I forgot he was headed to California).

We ate pizza, Painted pumpkins,did balloon games,  spider races, and made chocolate apples.
The kids played dead man and we sang happy birthday to Kenadee.
We wound down with popcorn and a movie.

The kids all were so well behaved and big helpers
Even Brookie was awesome.
