Unlv basketball

We went to the UNLV basketball season kickoff which is free.  We've never gone before but will plan to in the future. The kids loved it!!  Normally it's indoors but because Pbr was in town it was outside, but the weather was perfect!!  Fun family night for sure.
Eric and Ethan met up with us too.

Painting the front room

We've been in our home for 5 years. 

We've done alot of painting... which I normally like to do. But the front room we KNEW would be a project with the vaulted ceiling..  so it's never been on the to do list. 

But over the past 6 months it's been really bad. The home came with FLAT cream paint. Anyone with kids knows that ain't gunna work. I've wiped walls down and it's helped but there comes a ppint ..   haha .

We had basketball marks from the boys playing ( which is now off limits). 

Anyways... Pete kinda hates how spontaneous I am when it comes to big projects. Friday at 5pm I decided I wanted to spend the weekend painting ( really I was embarrassed when Peyes cousin Jack came over and our walls were nasty) anyways... we started painting at 7pm on Friday night. 

I'm SOO DANG happy with the results. 

It looks so much more put together (we went over a few of our accent walls to bring in on color). 

It just looks cleaner and nicer)
