Track Break with a working mom

Track break with a working mom just isn't as luxurious as a break with a mom that can plan fun stuff and sleeping in. :(
The kids started their last track break as the rest the world were starting their summer breaks (were now back in school till august)

Anyways, mostly this year the kids have been with Granny. This time she was in Cali to spend with her daughters and other grandkids.
So, the kids came with me to work.
And mostly played next door and grandma and grandpa's.
There at the age were they mostly entertain themselves...except Kadence. She want to constantly be with mom.
Which mad work hard, especially because it was summer, my parents were gone for a whole week, and we JUST stated a new dispatch program which made a WHOLE new process of how I do my job.
We survived, and had a LITTLE fun while we were at it

Water fun at the park

The closest park to us has had 3 annual water days. This has been the first we've bennett able to go to.
It was a hit.. and even more so because the kids bumped into friends while there.

Plus.  It's free.

Genius me wanted excercise  so we walked.
There wasn't bad. Back the wet kids were fine to, but I'd been standing in the heat for about 3 hrs by then.
It wasn't as smoothe sailing home. Haha

There were probably 10 to 12 different jumpers around the park.  All with water hoses in the keeping them wet and cool.

Father's Day pool party!

We celebrated father's day and this amazing guy with a pool party and Brandon Grandma's house. 

 Our family get together seem fewer and further between with everyone's kids getting older and life getting busier.

So we had a blast swimming.

CARTWHEELS

Kadence is into gymnastics, mixed with dance and cheer haha.
She watched you tube videos and then has me watch her "dance"  or routine.

It's pretty darling.

However, shes been working on the "correct" cartwheel for quite some time.
Between the videos, and me telling her, and her brothers trying to do some.. which might not be too correct either.

I figured since she's so into them we at lease better get it down.

Currently she starts in a cartwheel stance and winds up ending it in a somersalt.

I kept thinking of trying to show her in person but I was a little nervous.. my latter part of my 28th year was feeling really OLD when I thought I flipping my body upside down. Hahahah.


I finally got up the courage one day and I might pulled a slight muscle.

The next time at the park I decided I could take it on.

We had fun cartwheel in together bit I don't know if it helped much.
sooner or latter she's get a little better.

Fun filled weekend.

Works been getting busier (also we got a new dispatch program so the whole office is "relearning" our jobs in June which has led to some extra stress for sure.. haha, ok, it hasn't been all that funny.

We also have so other life changes happening so we opted for fun this weekend.
We went to the drive ins.
Had ash and jed over for a bbq, and then decided we wanted to drive to St. George to check out sand hallow.. and 20 min later were had 3 kids and 3 dogs loaded in the car.

It didn't dissapoint... much cleaner than lake mead.
