Rylan got his first snowboarding trip!! 

We took Jaiden when he was 6 and were suppose to take Rylan last year when he was 6 but it just didnt play out that way. So we made it a priority this year and got out there. Thankfully we hit snow jam and got free lift tickets with the %15 pass and Pete & I own boards and boots so we didnt have to fork over to much $. 

Granny kept Kadence for the day for a girls day (too bad she ended up throwing up and there plans kinda took a dump. She still likes her one on one time though) 

Anyways. Josh & Steph had invited us to go New years weekend but our passes werent good for holiday weekends so they told us to let them know when were were going. So we went with Josh, steph and Stephs twin sister Sam. 

We made it a day trip and we up at 4:30a. We thought the boys would sleep the whole way there. YEA RIGHT! they were way too excited! 

Once we got there Rylan didnt even wait for us to get dressed.

He did really well. He had much more patience than Jaiden did. He did GREAT going down straight and fast. I kept making him slow down and learn how to stear and stop. Thats were head fall. 

Both boys fell lots nad cried with frustration but they both had a blast. 

 RY took a power nap during lunch and made it down for 1 more run after he was pooped and was ready to relax and watch.

Yea... hes 9 and only been 1 other time which happens to have been 3 years ago...I swear the kid has NO FEAR. he landed most of then I guess from what Pete says. I caught 2 on camera and 2 falling. Still SUPER impressed!

We had lots of fun and were totally worn out which made for the longest drive ever home. (Well the boys slept the entire way)

Little Cheerleader

Our friends/ babysitter is a cheerleader at Canarelli Middle School. As a fundraiser every year they hold a elementary school cheer Clinic.  Its $40, they get 3 practices and 1 performance during halftime at the basetball game. You got pom poms, a shirt and a bow.  Ive been wanting to put Kadence in dance but didnt know how she'd listen, ect.  This was perfect. SUPER cute and see how she does.

Kadence LOVED cheer. She much more of a cheerleader than a soccer player. Kadence is that super girly girl drama queen. Shes a chatter box and loves to dance and have that undevided attention. PERFECT for this little "cheerleader"

It was super cute and Im soo glad I signed her up.

Fire Pit!! HOORRAY!!

Ive been wanting a fire pit for a WHILE. Well this one was the Tippetts but because they have two indoors we did a swap for some other things. Super stoked! 

We ended sunday night like this.!  LOOVVVVEEE! 

Weve gone overthis before. I LOVE being outdoors. I love the smell of camp fire. Eating smores and enjoying each others company without TV phones or xbox's  ;) 

Cant wait for this Sunday! ;) 

Bunnies & Craig Ranch

Last weeked  Brandon & Celestial invited us over for an early dinner. There bunnies are just too cute not to hold. They'll sit and lay in your lap. So worth the allergies you break out in ;)  Kadence and Rylan both got a dose of Benadryl. 

After we ate the boys headed to Bass pro and we took the kiddos to the New Craig Ranch park. Weve been to the skate park but havent wandered our way to the playground.  Weve been missing out. Super fun and HUGE . although my kids werent the best behaved. Its super crowded on the weekends and Jaiden wandered off. Rylan hid behind a tree because he didnt want ot leave.   Oh the joys.

 This ones WAY bigger than moutnains edge. Do you see my teeny 4 year old half way up. I had to yell at her to stop. Just trying to keep up with her brothers. She makes me nervous!

Bad Shopping!

A few days ago my little sister Celestial posted on Facebook about how she had this bad shopping experience at the grocery store. Hes wasnt from the kids (She actually was walking around with leaking milk, then leaking laundry, then her card wouldnt work at the check out)  anyways.. I made a comment that is made me laugh and Im such a horrible sister.  
Were totally close enough that she didnt take offense....and what I mean Is sometimes you have such a bad experience, the only thing you can do is laugh. I guess usually you cry but Later you'll almost always laugh about it.
It got me thinking of my WORST shopping experience EVER. Which, by the way, I can laugh about it.

I want to remember it so here it is:

Jaiden was about 4 and Rylan about 2.5   I was probably half way through my pregnancy with Kadence because this shopping trip was to get little beads to make Kadence some braclets. My sister Crystal was with me. I think we were at Joanne's or Michaels.
So there we are two boys in the big part of the basket and Crystal and I looking at a wall full of beads. I pretty sure the boys were being slightly neglected while we looked. haha
Anyways, both boys lean toward the same side of the basket to grab the beads... Of course that tips the basket and down they go...
Oh, dont forget there grabbing for the beads so they take down 80% of that wall.

While the cart went down it hit my leg. Ouch

So now you have two SCREAMING boys. One hurt mama and beads beads and more beads. bouncing and rolling down the aisle. The whole store heard us.. and im sure the people walking past the store ;)

I felt horrible. not because my leg but because we caused a huge mess and I felt like a horrible parent.

Within seconds a girl or two that worked there was by our side. Crystal and I were grabbing the kids and trying to help.  Im pretty sure the girls felt so bad for us (or just wanted us to leave) that they wouldn't let us leave.

I know we left right away and I don't remember what we did after. Maybe cry in the car. haha


That was by far my WORST  shopping experience.  


Im glad I can laugh now because I know I cried then!!

Love on you

Last night I was running on the treadmill about 8pm. Kadence is watching the Bachelor with me and looks over at me and says:

"Mom, are you going to be done soon so I can love on you?"


I finished my run about half the length of what I wanted to... but How could I tell her no after that!

Of course Ill let you love on me little one!!

Gotta cherish these moments while we can!

Good start to the New Year

Yesterday I was feeling sick and bummed that the weekend was here and no fun would be had.  Well I popped and advil and we headed the hike Mtns. Edge

Seriously wonder why I don't do this all the time. Its so nice and so close. My kids love it (especially the boys but my monkey Jai didn't want to leave). 

We wandered around and not just up and down this time. Fun workout on a gorgeous day. Perfect start to the first weekend of 2014. 

New Years at the Dunes

My family has been trying to convince us to camp out at the dunes all year.. probably longer. Pete and I both didnt really ever care to go. You hear to many horror stories and I was told the kids cant double up and have to stay around camp... my kids WATCH everyone ride. yea right! 

Anyways, the Kids got a 4 wheeler for Christmas so we figured we go try it out. 

The boys were allowed to drive out and around. Kadence couldnt but had her cousins and The Greens side by side so she didnt care at all. 

It was no were near as crazy as the New Years weve heard of. Probably because it landed in the middle of the week. 

We all ended up liking it better than expected. 

I loved cruising behind my little guys over the tall sandy hills. Jaiden did really well following Adam and climbed some pretty decent hills. Ry on the other hand did ok following. Hed get nervous and wouldnt follow but instead of stopping he try cruising off on his own,,..which freaked me out cause I could see him going over a hill that just dropped on the other side. So we made him switch once we caught up to him. 

Ry did later flip himslef off of the 90 because he turned to fast. Luckily its soft sand but it scared me and him for sure. He got back on and made some serious jumps on the flat land though!

Almanza Christmas

The weekend after Christmas Petes side of the Family came into town to celebrate. 

I picked out the excat same Jacket the Jacob was wearing that day.. great minds think alike? haha

 Jaiden was super excited about one of the gifts granny got him.... a knee skateboard? im not sure what its called but he loves it.
